I bought this for my girlfriend who kept taking mine. She loves it. Bought it at the store in Freeport. Had to buy the men's version. They didn't have the woman's version in stock.

I love these shirts.....they are soft, heavy weight, wash up perfectly with no shrinkage, pillage, color loss, and totally comfortable to wear. I use mine to layer up with around the house so I don't have to run the heat as high as us old timers would like it to be. One thing I found is that if you check with LL Bean they can give you actual measurements size of the shirt since the Traditional fit can run large. The example would be that once I checked with LL Bean and found out what the XL Traditional fit measurements were .....that it would be a correct size rather than the XXL which I normally order in shirts. The size I ordered fits great and highly recommend these Chamois shirts as the best around. The colors they offer including plaids are excellent and give a "rich" look about them. You really can't go wrong with this shirt... so yes they get a "highly recommend" from me. LL Bean ...you do yourself proud on this product.

This is a very comfortable shirt, I have 5 or 6 of them, I wish they would come out with some new colors so I would have a reason to buy some new shirts. I have other shirts from LLBean such as the sun washed canvas and they just keep the same colors, they need more colors to give me a reason to buy more shirts from them. But this shirt is warm and washes well getting softer after each wash.

material and workmanship are top notch. but i too hope to not see button down collars on these. in fact I would prefer to have bi-swing pleats on each side rather than the current box pleat on these.

I love it. description states chamois shirt but I find it perfect as a light weight jacket these cool fall days. I ordered a large mainly for that purpose and it fits well. the shirt itself is lovely looking and excellently constructed. as an added enhancement had it monogrammed for a more personal touch. definitely funds well spent.

I love the way it fits and usually wears well. My last one ripped out at the seam on the arm, but exchanged it for a new one.

Very pleased with the Nean chamois shirt. Wish other was a few more color options, but the navy and forest green are always in style.

These shirts are still awesome! I bought the sage green version recently and it seems more substantial than one I've had for about 10 years now. That one is a bit too short and loose in the body to protect me from wind when I'm wearing it as a jacket. I can't speak to the durability and shrinking after washings, but there is more than enough extra fabric to wash and dry(on high heat) repeatedly without shrinking it to the point it won't fit. I recommend requesting the exact measurements of the shirt you're interested in first. The colours released previously were apparently excessively long and mine would also be that if I didn't intend on using it as a heavy duty shirt jacket. If you want it to fit as a shirt, or don't like tops going more than an inch or two below your waist, get exact measurements and don't machine dry it if it fits perfect. I also anticipated shrinkage when making my purchase. I originally had a size large and that has shrunk down to regular medium length arms and is almost too short in the body. In conclusion, great fabric but wonky sizing, the story of L.L. Bean. Be wary of shrinking once you find out which size will fit you best(by contacting L.L. Bean directly!), in my experience flannel never stops getting smaller if machine dried.

I got about six new shirts all different colors they really feel great and keep you nice and warm if you're outdoors and they never shrink I also by these T-shirts I like shopping online at L.L. Bean can't wait for them to get a store in our town of Brookfield

Great shirt, very comfortable. Originally ordered a large (my regular non-custom size order) but this was too big. Had to exchange which went very smoothly.

Great soft shirt, I hold my newborn grandson with no fear of fabric scratching him.

My husband loves this shirt & has worn it often since I surprised him with it. Thick & warm. He wears it over a thinner shirt around our cool winter house all day long.

This is a warm and comfortable shirt that fit perfectly and is well-constructed.

Outstanding quality product. They get better with age, some we have are over 20 years old. Nearly every time a new color is offered, we buy it. Great winter shirt for layering in cold weather, or a cool weather shirt jacket. Comfortable and sized to wear after washing, may be just a little big right out of the packaging.

What can you say about LL Beans quality! Always wanted a couple of these shirts, finally pulled the trigger and haven't been disappointed. Awesome comfortable shirt. Daughter said it looks good on me so I'm pleased.

Had one of these as a kid 40 years ago, I don't know why I waited so long to get another... Glad to see the quality is as good as ever.

I purchased this shirt for my husband. With the mild Texas weather, he has worn it more as an over shirt, but the quality and price are great. The shirt is comfortable and warm.

The DAY I got this shirt I put it on. It is so cozzy and warm. I wore it EVERY day. Washed as it got dirty, sometimes everyday wash and sometimes once a week was good. This is my when I'm going out to play( retired farmer disabled from arthritise and gov BS.) means headed for the garden/greenhouse. After 1 year almost to the day, 365 wears and how many washes i'm not sure but it wore out the elbows. Put it on one day and oops, rite through the elbow, now I have a nice SHORT sleeve shirt. Still wear it just on warmer days now. How some on here say they have these shirts that are years old,,, must be a closet shirt and not worn much. DIG IT OUT AND WEAR IT...

I bought several of these for my husband and then two for my dad. He is 82 and is often cold. These shirts are very well made and the material is substantial and not flimsy. They wash well and I put them in the dryer for a short time and then hang to dry. You may choose to iron, I do not!! The quality is what you would expect from llBean

Hello, This is the second shirt that we bought in this style, the first being plaid. My husband loved the plaid so much that I ordered him the plain. Well, it is too big, however, I threw all the packaging away and have no clue how to go about exchanging it. Can someone help me? Thanks, Martie

Purchased for my son. He has had several in the past but they needed to be replaced. He farmed and worked outside a good deal and liked these shirts when worn alone or over a Tee if another layer was needed. They held up well and washed and dried well. Highly recommend.

I have owned 3 of these shirts for more than 30 years and I am still wearing them! Unbelievable value. The shirts are more comfortable as the years pass and I expect my son will inherit someday....until then, I will look forward to fall and winter with these shirts.

Just gave my husband his third chamois shirt for his birthday this year. These shirts are warm, soft, comfortable, and durable. They wash and dry easily and hardly show signs of wear.
