This Chamois shirt is a right weight for the cold winter months. It is soft, warm and washes like a dream. The fit is perfect and it is well made. This is the third LL Bean chamois shirt in my closet.

If you can afford it, buy from Bean. They make the best winter wear! Hold off your opinion until you have worn and washed the shirt 4-5 times. Turns very soft and comfortable.

I bought this chamois shirt in a solid navy blue for my son-in-law. He absolutely loves it. It is a handsome looking shirt with a true navy blue color and looks very nice on him. It was an excellent choice.

I bought this shirt for my husband a couple of years ago and he wears it frequently during the winter. I think it is his favorite, so I bought a second one this Christmas. When friends saw it the also decided to buy it. It is warmer than flannel, sharp looking and wears very well.

My husband absolutely loves this shirt. He spends a lot of time outdoors with our husky in the bitter cold and this shirt is the favorite for keeping him warm and comfortable. Will be buying more

My previous LL Bean 100% cotton flannel shirt was getting "tired" after 10+ years so I decided to order a replacement and a second one in a new color. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality is just as good as before - in texture, wash-ability, softness, and warmth. The size L shirts were a bit large out of the bag, but after a couple of washes, they fit perfectly across the shoulders and sleeve length. (I'm guessing here, maybe 2-3% shrinkage).

I have been wearing these shirts for more than 15 years because I LIKE THEM. They are warm and comfortable, especially during our cold winters.

These flannels were great. Its been a long time since I purchased a flannel, my son wanted them for Christmas, I just couldn't buy the ones I had seen in the stores, too flimsy! LLBean flannels were so thick and soft. My son loved them. Size was true to fit. Definitely worth the money!

These shirts are my husband's favorite for winter. They look nice. They feel nice. They wash wonderfully. They are warm. What more can you ask for? My husband has several of them.

First, the color: deep rich Cranberry Red. That's Good! The weight: hardy, beefy, serious flannel. They call it chamois but don't expect leather or suede. There is serious insulation here, heavier than most flannel shirts and it feels good! Not cheap, but probably less pricey than some wimpy shirts with a posh label in them. The L.L. BEAN label is as posh as it needs to be and is a guarantee to me of quality goods. I bought three of these, Blue, Gold and this Red one. That's all the winter shirts I need.

I enjoy this shirt. It looks good open with a colorful T-shirt or closed with dress slacks. Best of all, it is very warm.

I LOVE these solid color Chamois shirts. I have 2 each of the red, blue, green, light blue, burgundy and grey colors. I have been wearing chamois shirts for as long as I can remember. They are warm, comfortable and durable. I still have 2 that are at least 15 years old. I now buy them exclusively from LL Bean because they always have them in stock when I need them and they have an excellent selection of colors. The colors are very resistant to fading. When I compare 2 red shirts it is difficult to tell the newly purchased from the 5 year old shirt.

We got a navy chamois shirt as a Christmas gift for my father in law. We love the thick, substantial fabric that softens as you wash it. The monogramming was a nice personalized touch. The size worked well and he loved the gift.

Got this as a Christmas gift, and I love it! The cloth is high quality, along with the stitching and the buttons. It gets softer when washed, though I wouldn't recommend tumble drying. My family is jealous and I receive compliments all the time. When choosing fit, going a size down will give you better results. Or, if you own any of Bean's flannels, get this in the same size. For reference, I am 5'9", 170 lbs and a medium is more of a jacket than a shirt - I did not realize that LLBean runs big. On the bright side, if you get a size too big you can layer it over anything!
