I have several of these shirts in different colors, love them all.

So at 6'2", 225lbs I find the X-Lg Long shirt to fit perfectly.

Great quality, thick cotton chamois, comfortable and warm, favorite for winter wear! I have several in different colors bought over the years. They hold up well!

Very warm and soft material. Great color (grey). Fits perfectly. I am a tall.

Outstanding quality, but it's the largest XXLT shirt I've ever purchased, by a noticeable amount. If I would order again it would be XL and maybe not tall. But it will be a regular part of my winter wardrobe.

Shirt is well-made, of heavy material, wears for years! Serves well as a jacket in chilly weather (50+ degrees, mild wind) --- its "heaviness" blocks some wind VERY well; but being cotton it doesn't trap body heat to such a degree as to cause overheating. Had a previous such shirt for 25-30 years before it wore out, so this time I bought four of them!

Definitely a favorite!!!

My husband has been wearing LL Bean chamois shirts for 35 years. They are good quality and when we lived in NJ where it was cold and damp in the winter, those shirts were comfortable and warm. Now we live in FL, but he still loves the chamois shirts for the winter months here. All LL Bean items are of the best quality and if there are any problems, just call and they will promptly address them.

This is my second chamois shirt from LLB - I bought my first one in 1978 and decided it was time to get one of another color. The first was chamois color which is no longer carried - after 41 years it has a couple of minor holes and is threadbare in places, but still a favorite! I hope to get another 41 years wear from this one - that would make me, what, 157 years old? I guess I'll have to will it to someone!

I have 4 other chamois shirts by a different manufacturer. I have one of the LLBean shirt and am ordering only one of these again. They are softer and feel nicer then any other.

The sizing chart 'runs' big. My husband is 5'8' at 160 lbs., and men's size medium fits. I am female, 5'8" at 140 lbs., and men's size small fits me. Because I layer my clothing and wear this shirt as a jacket, I prefer the boxy fit (as opposed to the tapered fit in the women's department) for ease of movement when working or playing outside. These shirts did not shrink in the wash and dryer. Great buy, yet a bit expensive.

I shopped around before purchasing two of these shirts. My husband likes to wear a shirt over a shirt, so I thought a plain, thick flannel shirt would work well during the cold Vermont winters. The shirts did not disappoint. They are thick, soft, well-made and fit well too. We are very pleased with the purchase and would recommend these shirts to others.

I mistakenly ordered a flannel shirt as well as this chamois shirt, not noticing what I was doing. The difference is noticeable. These have the heaviness and the feel I want. Since I am old, I do like the somewhat large size - it gives my stiffness more room to put the shirt on and off easily. If you don't want a heavy flannel shirt, don't order one of these! I commute all winter on a bicycle (in Wisconsin) and so this shirt if perfect for the half hour run each way. Okay I am also in love with chamois shirt aesthetically - the feel, the texture, the look, and the weight. So I am happy when it is finally cold enough to wear them. I am grateful Beans remains a reliable source for reordering when they finally wear out (over fifteen years of October to May wearing).

A quality shirt that will not disappoint that I actually use over my shirt on those cool days when a jacket would be too warm, and a regular shirt not warm enough. The fabric is heavy and very soft to the touch.

Great shirt as always but what happened to all the colors you use to carry? Just 4 colors?. i've Bought these shirts for years, from bright red, yellow, brown, denim blue.... must be they are dropping this type of shirt or just don't care.

Love the Chamois shirts. I've been wearing them since I was a teenanger and would get them for Christmas (30 years now). Soft fabric, very warm, great quality. Just some words of advise on sizing. The size for these is not the same sizing as it is for the regular flannel shirts. I'm not a little guy, but I have to order down a size on these. I usually wear XL, and get L for the Chamois shirts only. Otherwise they look like a tent on me. I get the Tall size also because I have a long torso. There's a pretty dramatic difference from regular to tall, so be aware of that. If you plan on tucking them in, which is what I do, the tall is great. If you plan on wearing them untucked and sometimes open (unbottoned), go with the regular length.

I have worn LL Bean chamois for years they are warm and very comfortable

My husband has worn the LL Bean chamois shirt for decades. This particular iteration is thicker that those from prior years, which is not a problem; it can function as a light jacket. The only complaint I have is this year's boring colors. Let's brighten things up a little with some of LL Bean's beautiful light blues and greens!

This is a Christmas gift for my 87 yr. old father. He will love the weight-he needs the warmth-and he loves shirts with 2 pockets.

These shirts are always great. I've been buying and using chamois shirts for years. Great work and fishing shirts. Warm and durable as well.
