These fit very well, however I'm displeased with the weird creased look of this specific color. I'm referring to the "Black Stone". It has random faded wrinkles throughout to give it a distressed look, I suppose, but instead it just looks like you had them crumpled into a tight wad in the bottom of a hamper for a year. It looks a bit messy. I am planning on buying another pair of these in a different color because of how well they fit.

Jeans are a nice slim fit without being skinny. If you are in between sizes I would go with the larger size. Mine came with a bunch of creases on the front pockets area. Not sure if that's how it was supposed to be. Don't mind it but not a huge fan of that look.

I really like them and my wife likes them on me. These are longer than expected. Bought a 32 length, but returned and got 30 length, which is really like a 31" length. This is perfect for me as what I really need are 31's but those are hard to come by. They look particularly good with boots (I wear Solovair and Grinders).

I love these jeans, just not in this color. I ordered the EXACT SAME pair in a different color and they fit perfectly. I ordered the same size as the pair that fit perfectly but in black and it was way too tight. How could there be such inconsistency with regard to the fit of the jeans when it is literally the same type (511), size (32x32), and fit (slim stretch)? Makes no sense.

Nice pant, good shape. Not too skinny. Brown color is REALLY brown, closer to black than brown.

I've always bought American Eagle, but these jeans are better. I have long legs and these fit perfectly.

I was looking for a pair of Levi's not in the typical blue that I usually buy and found it here. The free shipping got me my order in 3 business days. T usually wear 32/32 and ordered this size for the 511's. It fit great, maybe a slight bit tighter in the waist than my 501. The only thing I can complain about is that 2 weeks after I bought mine the price dropped $3.

I lucked out w/ these 511's! Lately, Levis is not known for their consistency. Mostly of their jeans are too long or the waist has too much stretchy, i.e., 510's. (a little in the leg is ok, but the wast changes the fit). Its a strike or a miss. Got lucky this time! 29x30 to fit 5'7'' 125lbs.

Beware that these will shrink! Also, never use them in the dryer. I love the look. They're not the most comfortable pants (like AE jeans), but they are adequate and the style makes up for it.

Only wear Levi's. Playa wash, folds and creases faded badly in cold water, line-dry. Now they're just a pair of regular Levi's.

I love the 511s, but be careful with this one. It comes with permanent wrinkles and discolored knees. Zappos says this is a design feature, and will take them back if you don't like it.

I ordered these for my husband as he likes stretch jeans and a slim fit. We ordered 33 waist as that is his usual size, but they were too big, so we exchanged them for a 32 which fits much better. The stretch in the fabric is good, but the fabric is heavier than he would like as we live in a tropical location. The fabric is fine but also not as soft as we would have wished. The pants are not really slim fit. My husband has very skinny legs and the pants are a bit baggy. If you don't have really skinny legs this would not be a problem. The pants look good on though and are comfortable and fit well apart from the leg thing.

can't go wrong with Levi's...the only complaint I have is the smell. I'm not sure if it's from the factory or the warehouse. All I know it's taking months to get it out...something for zappos to look into

Best fit jeans. Great look, dress up or down. Not baggy in the but and thighs like most slim fit. A bit tight behind the knee.I need more.

The 511 is a great product in spite of the fact Levis downgrade their denim quality a great deal compared to years gone by. Unfortunately, Zappos doesn't carry any inventory. Every time I try to order, no product. Worse, they don't let me place an order and wait. They want to email me when they have inventory. Not! Just take the order and let me know it's been back-ordered. Time to bring the Zappos website kicking and screaming into 1990 web technology.

These are great jeans! the fit is really nice, I did go up on size to 36x32, and I'm glad I did. They aren't too thin or too thick, the color is very trendy, but I will admit that they smelled of vinegar - the rigid dragon wash - when I first got them. The odor lingered until their first wash and now they are my favorite pair of jeans, we'll see how they hold up and I may snag a few more pairs.

I've purchased black Levis 511 in the past. The black ones are always stretchy, and these were advertised as such. The materials on the tag even show 1% spandex. However, these are not stretchy at all. My other pair, which I bought from a Levis store, have always been very stretchy and very comfortable. The ones I bought from Zappos are stiff. Another weird thing is that even though I bought the same exact size as my other pair, the ones from Zappos are tighter all around. I don't get it.

I was very happy to come across 511s at a local store. They fit great and cost a fraction of all the other jeans. They are a great in-between fit for someone with a slimmer frame but who doesn't want their junk in a vice all day and leg holes so tiny you need a team of powerful midgets just to force your feet through them. So anyway...thankfully the store didn't have them in my size so I looked on Zappos where they were even cheaper. I quickly ordered 3 pairs. What I have discovered is that each wash/rinse fits differently and stretches out to different degrees once you wear them. I am usually a 32/34 but ordered 33/34 because I like to wash and dry my jeans (yes, wrinkle your nose denim police). There has only been minimal shrinkage so far (cold water, medium tumble). I like my jeans soft so recommend the rinsed dark and black stretch for that. Rinsed Playa has a little stretch to it and is also comfortable, but not quite as soft as the other two I just mentioned. These will definitely be my go-to jeans for the future and I love being able to buy 5 pairs for the price of one Citizens or Sevens. Oh, and Zappos 1-day shipping was amazing and on point, per usual.

An excellent and consistent jean, I love the way Levis fit. A little shrink, but almost no color bleed on first wash. Very durable.

Reasonably comfortable fit, good style, very slim, but not overly tight. Not stretchy enough to do dance leaps in, but not bad for general physical activity. Very nice quality product overall.
