I love Levi's 511 jeans! They fit perfectly, snug in the legs (but not ultra-tight like the 510) and hugs your back and front. The waist fits about 1.5-inches below the belly button on me and I'm 5'9" and a guy, which is just right and not too low that your crack starts showing. I bought the Dark Plum colored 511s and they're a deep, dark purple so now I have some colors other than blue. Even though I normally wear a 34 in the waist, for the 511 I go up to the next size 36 so that they don't feel too snug on me. These are the best cut Levi's around!

Color: Clean Dark. Great pair of pants. Very comfortable, and they fit perfectly. Not a skin tight pair of jeans (which is what I prefer), but still retains the feel of skinny jeans. It was hard to find a pair of black skinny jeans on Zappos that didn't use white string cotton for the outline of the back pockets. White string on back pocket and black jeans just looks too weird. These pair of jeans were as close as it gets to a dark back pocket outline, but it didn't bother me much. If you're looking for black skinny jeans, you can't go wrong with this one. The price and style makes your decision a no brainer.

I have 5 pairs of this style jeans only had an issue with one pair. One of the back pockets ripped at one corner after wearing them one time. Other than that I am pleased with them. Did have a problem with shipping took me three try’s before I got my order delivered.

be aware that the "throttle" color looks nothing like is does here in the picture, unless they sent me the wrong jeans. The pic here is a medium blue, the pair i got in the mail were as dark blue as you can get.

I wanted skinny, but Levi's currently doesn't make skinny, so I tried slim fit and that's what I got. They're being altered into skinnies. They seem to be a throwback to better days in that they're a thicker denim than other jeans. That means they'll last long, and depending on where you live they could be hot. I won't wear them in summer, given my climate. The sizing was perfect, no surprises (there shouldn't be). No baggy crotch, no extra room for thick thighs, no catering to the horrors of men's fashion, these are just good Levi's jeans.

Fit was as expected but the color listed as “Black” is in fact a dark navy color. Very misleading.

Fit was as expected but the color (Heading East) is much lighter than what is shown on the website. They’re pictured as a washed out black but in reality they are gray in color, a bit misleading.

Pant legs are looser than expected. I wouldn’t buy the new khaki style again. I have a pair of 511’s rinsed playa that fit excellent.

This 32" length was mysteriously 2" longer than my other 511 Slim Levi's. And, the inside of the cuff is black?

Jeans fit looser than expected for a slim. I’m a 34 waist and they are a bit loose. The stretch fabric is also a bit strange. Nice feel to them. Length at 36 is perfect

Like, but too big.

I’m a college guy. These jeans are my go to everyday jean. The fit is great. More snug through the hips so no saggy bottoms. The legs have less fabric then regular fit but are not skinny. The color is light, not the same as a worn out jean. I could call them pale. The only downside is they seem to wear out in the crotch seam. Not a huge problem but these will never be a pair of jeans the you will be wearing for years.

Bought these in 34x32 when i compared to the same jean but in 36x32 they were the same..... Thinking about returning - but haven't lost enough weight to be a size 32x32. Why doesn't Mfg. offer jeans in 31 length?? 30's are too short - 32's are to long. Back in the 60's & 70's they did. People shrink after a certain age, unlike jeans - that don't anymore....

I'm typically a 513 wearer, but decided to try a slimmer cut. These fit well: very comfortable material with lots of stretch and cut close but not too skinny. I'd recommend trying a size smaller than usual in the waist if you're getting a version with similar stretch, they seem to run a little big.

The fit is good! I prefer a bit less snug at the hip, but the legs and and overall fit is comfortable. I am getting used to the stretch aspect, but so far so good so much so I'm ordering another pair!
