I purchased the women's moc like this to garden in years ago. Just too narrow for my wide foot. Opted for a mens 8 in this boot and am super stoked. So perfect and comfy I wear a women's 9.5 and have a wide forefoot. These are a great solution for me and super cute. Leather is So soft sole is supportive fur is warm and cozy. Well made would purchase again worth the money. Thank you for a super well made product to keep me warm and dry rain snow wet soccer fields too!

These run a bit larger than size indicated. They are incredibly warm an comfortable, luxurious inside shearling and elegant dimpled leather construction

It's been awhile since I've had a pair of Bean Boots and I needed something to get me through Colorado mountain winters. The quality and practicality earn 5 stars, but I really love the shearling. It's incredibly comfortable and warm. I normally wear a 9.5. The size recommendation in the description said to go with a size 8 with a medium thickness sock. I wanted them to fit with thicker socks, so I ordered a 9. It was still just too big. I ended up exchanging them for an 8 and they fit really well. LL Bean's customer service with the exchange was top notch.

Love the boots and they're very warm. A little disappointed in sizing. LL Bean says to go down 1/2 size from normal, which I did, but they're still too big. Not sure why they can't just make them true to size? If not for that, it would be 5 stars.

Love these boots from the comfort to the warm. Very easy to clean all the mud and stuff off after a hike. Only subtracted a star because the laces seem to be unwinding of sorts but still works.

These are terrific, except the insoles are somewhat lacking. They are not shearling lined so I dinged the boots for this. Once I got better insoles, a solid 5. Cheers.

Wore these 1st time final day of Memphis In May/Mud BBQ Contest. My flat feet measure 12C, & even with their substantial shearling lining, thickest LLB Cresta Hiking Socks + thin polypropylene liners + 1/4-in-thick spongy namebrand aftermarket insert beneath stock removable footbed + cinching laces super-tight, these 12 Ms are STILL a bit wide. Excellent quality thru-out, rather heavy, superb pebble-grain leather that's tanned darker than the usual. For a classier look, suggest switching stock laces for variegated medium tan/dark brown, then lace thru all eyelets & finish with a figure-8 knot in both ends to keep in place.

The boots look great, unfortunately it is well into Spring when I finally received them. A two month wait, and was denied later discounts after the wait. Even after calling customer service who ensured me that the discounts were added to the month and half wait.

The most comfortable shoes that I own. The quality can not be beat. Everything work like it should. Easy slip on and off. The fur inside just makes it super cozy. Only downside is that noticed that when I was standing around "not moving" for long periods of time my feet would get a little cold. But once I started moving, feet stayed warm. Recommend that you snow seal the leather if plan on wearing in wet/snow conditions. My feet wear slightly wet and cold after walk in a river. They could use just a little bit more insulation Other than that, they are best shoe I own. Period!!!

The boots have been great in the first month of wearing them. The shearling lining feels amazing on my feet. My feet did start to get a little cold after an hour of snow shoveling but I think a warmer pair of socks would have remedied that issue. The only real improvement I would like is that they had a little more arch support. They have virtually no arch in them. A little would go a long way, but other than that I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Beautiful boots but size down as noted. Just to give you an idea. I wear a size 12 sneaker and settled on a size 10 boot and they're perfect. The only gripe is there's a lip on the heel that I can feel but hasn't caused any issues.

Fit was just right width & length. Inside cozy & warm, & definitely waterproof as we had 3 inches of rain & large puddles for Christmas Day.

Good quality, good boot but had to return as the sizing was off. Told to order a size down for 'whole' sizes and the boot ended up being too small.

Really great light weight tough boots.... However, they took away the best part of these boots years back when they stopped making the removable liners. You could pull them out and throw them in the wash and hang the boots on the Peets dryer and the next day a guy had a clean dry pair of boots to put on. You would think it would make the building process much simpler by doing it this way. There are other boots on the market with removable liners, but they are cheap, heavy knock offs.. LL Bean is a great quality company.. NOT knocking them at all, realizing that's just how they have chosen to do these builds. Maybe some day they can give us that option again..?? Paul.

Overall a bit disappointed. Not because of the quality or anything like that. I dont know. But the tongue in 1 boot slouches and falls down. Nothing i do fixes it unfortunately.

I live in the mountians of Colorado and need a good snow boot. I purchased the 8" shearling thinking that the insulation would go throughout the entire boot. It only covers the ankle and that is not what gets cold. The boots are of good quality but the insulation value is almost nonexistent. Fortunately they are quite large and I can wear 3 pair of socks to keep my feet warm.

These boots are comfortable as shoes and stylish, but very cold. Definitely not a good boot for northern winters. Fleece lining is only in the upper and insulation around the foot is minimal.

The boots are warm and attractive but offer absolutely no traction in rain, mud, ice or snow. I've been falling all over the place since I've bought them. I've slipped so many times it's almost funny, but then again these are expensive boots for having so little functional use.

My wife bought me this pair and I love the warmth and fit, but the laces have me perplexed. To keep them tied firmly at the foot, the laces at the ankle have to be tied extremely tight. I like firm fitting boots, but hate the feel of tight laces wrapped to tightly at the ankle. Tried not using the top two eyelets, but then the ankle support goes away while hunting. Will probably have to return them.
