Good all around! From comfort to fitting, especially with the shearling it's nice and warm. The lace is ruggedly made. It's been only 2 weeks and it's good for now.

Great fit. I work at a ski resort and wore them this weekend. So comfortable and toasty warm!

Initial Review, haven't had the winter weather to judge their performance however I would like to say the sizing was right on target and the initial comfort was surprising. Let's see how I feel after a couple hours of snow blowing our driveway and my neighbors.

Boot is incredibly comfortable right out of the box, no break in period needed. The boots run a bit on the larger side so if you're a half size I recommend sizing down. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I bought these boots for son #1 in Dec of 2020 and now for son#3-both as early Christmas presents in spite of snow. My #3 son's boots were sooo old the soles were worn down and he would slide. Very comforty and warm and fit them well as always. I recommend them to all.

I usually wear a 10.5 but a size 10 fit just right. These are great for cool damp weather. I would purchase these again down the road.

I've waited 20 years too long to get a pair of these. I wear an 8.5 D regularly - so take the sizing recommendations and order a full size smaller. The boots are fantastic and with the shearling insoles my go to winter boot.

I've always been fascinated by the leather/rubber L.L. Bean boot. Now I've finally got my own! I did size down as recommended and the fit is very good. Wonderful boot for mucking around in the snow and mud. They look a little bit better than when I first put them on. Not quite as warm as I expected with the insulation and shearling but I bought a set of beaver skin "toe warmers" and that seems to have done the trick. We had a series of sub-zero days this February and I was glad I had these boots in my closet!

Tried and True. Soft leather. Lined perfectly and the insoles workout well for padding.

I wear a 10/10.5 normally in other brands. Ordered a 9, per everyone's recommendation to "size down"... but the boot was way too small. Then ordered a 10... and voila. Fits nicely. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Found my all-weather booth.

My husband loves this boot for after ski and bouncing around in snow. Great fit and classic look.

Bought these for my husband and he chose the shearling lined rather than the gortex lining. He thinks they're very comfortable!

Excellent boot. Sizing off. Website advised if you have a 1/2 size order down. I take a 9 1/2 so I ordered an 8. Turned out to be way too small so I had to return them and get a 9. Now I still wish they made the option of a wider boot.

I've wanted Bean boots for years. Never had the spare $. Finally had some spare $ and decided to pull the trigger. I first ordered the basic Bean boots but upgraded to the sherpa lined boot. Very warm and very comfortable...with Bean boot sock of course. Expect to have these as my winter boots for the long trail.

I love them I have a pair in the 10" also and was hoping Bean would come out with the 8" eventually. They didn't let me down. I wear a 11 D in a regular shoe and went one size down as are my 10" boots. I wear a medium sock in this pair as I wear them every day and am in and out of the house. The fit is good and they are the warmest and most comfortable winter boots I have found. The sole offers good traction on wet or snowy surfaces. They are water proof also and have been put to the test. You will love them.

I wear size 11D shoes. But the 10D fit the best.. I mailed back the size 11, no problems. Great leather and rubber bottoms. Great craftsmanship.

I've always wanted these boots and since buying them I refuse to take them off, they are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. They are like wearing slippers all of the time! You won't regret purchasing these!
