Seem well-constructed but sized very small...narrow and at least one size too small. Had to return.

I ordered these in a size 14 for my Fiance this Christmas. He is a mens 14, and my sister in laws mom said they fit her feet perfect and she is a size 10 in womens... so the sizing is very off. There is no way he could even fit his toes into these slipper. I had to return them, lucky it was an easier process to return that I would have thought. Only thing, is you have to pay around $6 to ship them back, they take that out of your refund. But they include the return/exchange slip in your package.

Received as gift. Giving to the thrift store because LOL BEAN requires a $6.50 return fee. They're the ones who can't size a shoe.

I bought a size 10 pair as a Christmas gift for my son. He wears a 10 but couldn't even begin to get his foot in these. So disappointed. And shame on llbean for charging the customer for return shipping when they are responsible for inaccurate sizing.

"I'm a lifelong fan of LL Bean and their shoes have always fit me perfectly, but this slipper arrived in my usual size and was far too small in length, width, and in height through the arch. A waste of time.

Late in leaving this review but as it's time to wear them and they are unwearable just remembered. Both pair of these are unwearable because of how the insoles wore out.

Beware - these run very small. Have ordered several pairs of size 8 slippers for my husband but these were way too small. Had to pay to return them even though the sizing is way off.

I bought a pair hoping for casual slip on comfort. Failed on all counts

My review is not about the product but about LL Bean's return policy. This particular slipper was the second pair I had ordered and wound up being too small....I ordered a size 9. I had previously ordered a different pair in size 10 which was too large. I normally wear a size 10 shoe. I was charged both times for a return spending $13ish without a pair of slippers to show for it. With most companies now offering free returns or exchanges, seems it is time for LL Bean to get onboard with that. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from LL Bean anytime again soon.

These slippers/house shoes did not even come close to fitting. I am size 8.5 so according to LL Bean a size 9 was recommended because this product doesn't come in 1/2 sizes. As soon as I pulled them out of the box and tried to get my foot in one, forget it. Way too small and narrow. I couldn't even get my foot in and didn't bother to try the other slipper. I put them right back in the box and returned them totally unused. Just glad at least I didn't get charged return fees because I have the LL Bean credit card. I was hoping to buy an American-made product vs the German product I've traditionally bought but not a chance at least not with this product. Very disappointed.

It was extremely tight I want my slippers easy to wear and not require a breaking in period

I have one foot that is a size 10 and the other is a 10.5. Based on LL Beans own recommendation, I sized up a half size and ordered a size 11. I don't know who does their sizing but it wasn't even close. I had to force my smallest foot in. Once in, the slipper was too narrow and my big toe was over an inch from the end, plus it cut into the bridge of my foot. I am afraid if I got a size 12 it would be way too long, so they are being returned. Unfortunately, it will cost me $6.50 to send them back since there is no store near me. Come on LL Bean, you can do better than this - get better quality control on your products and do free returns like so many others do. I will definitely question my next, if any, purchase from LL Bean.

Can't believe L.L. Bean would send out shoes that have an obvious factory defect! Lining on slippers worn away by bad manufacturing. STILL waiting on refund weeks later

Smaller than normal size. Recommend getting 1-2 sizes bigger. Ended up trading them in for the wicked good moccasin at local store. Much more comfortable.

I like them. However, the size is not true because of the padding inside. I ordered size 9, which is my size. They were too tight. Exchanged them for size 10. Still too tight. Now I'm waiting for size 11. Hope it works.

I wear a size 9. From experience I know that some Bean slippers run small so I ordered a size 10. Size 10 were so small they hurt my feet. I don't get it.

I'm only giving it one star because the slipper/shoe was too tight on my midfoot. It's great quality and if it fit i'd give it a much higher rating. I was bummed but it wasn't for bad quality. As usual LLBean was great to work with and I got my refund. Still a LLBean customer.

Slippers are so narrow (I have a normal width foot) you can't get them to slide on. I purchased a size larger due to this issue which other reviewers identified and it made no difference. Had to return the item.
