Too narrow for my foot which is not unusually wide, so I returned them.

I loved the look of this slipper, but I could not get the left one on due to the size of the opening, and I barely got the right one on. I returned to our local store. Too bad.

I'm a size 9.5, at the largest. The size 10's I purchased were very tight fitting. Besides that, after two weeks, the rubber started separating from the leather. The slippers are warm and comfortable, but I'm not impressed overall.

I really wanted to love these scuffs but they are unwearable. I have normal-shaped feet and can find perfect fitting shoes from a number of companies. I ordered a size up and it made zero difference. The fit is narrow and the top waaaaay too tight. I wore them for 20 min until it was too painful to continue. They seem extremely well constructed, so if you have narrow feet that are flat like a pancake you'll be well taken care of. Good luck.

They are great quality but far too narrow. We understand that they will stretch, but even going up a size is just too narrow

I wanted to love these slippers, but I've found they're going to take some breaking in. I would say my feet are average size and width. They fit very tight across the top of my foot to the point they actual caused some bruising. I used a shoe stretchers that helped, but they're still very tight.

Slipper was too narrow for its size. I exchanged them for a different slipper.

I didn't care for the design of where the heel is sitting. It doesn't feel secure at all. I returned these. I'd go with a taller heel. Just my opinion. Otherwise it seemed like a nice slipper.

These were nice slippers but didn't fit so they were returned. I used the fit tool on the website and selected that the wearer had wide feet. The fit tool returned the size that I should order but when we tried them on, it was waaaay too narrow.

I ordered 1/2 size larger than I always wear in regular shoe and this slipper is so small I can't wear them. My foot is medium width, not wide but have to force my bare foot into slipper - forget about wearing socks and trying to put them on. Also, I have a normal arch, but the height of this slipper at the top of my foot is also really tight. The quality is good, but if you can't wear them that's not much good.

Sent these back. Sizing all wrong. Who knows what the next size up would be. Spent $6.50 to return. Guess even LLBean's quality is something you can't count on. The too small reviews came in AFTER I ordered. Manufacturing change maybe? Disappointed in always reliable LLBean.

I was so excited when these arrived, and I really wanted to like them. The leather upper was super soft brushed suede. The chain tread bottom was stylish and functional. Inside, they smartly put leather where the heel is instead of the fleece, which is always the first are to wear out. The seem really well made and like they'd last a long time. The only problem was when I put them on, they were too tight where they crossed the top of my foot. Like so too tight that I had to take them off after a few minutes. From a foot length standpoint, they were the right size, but from a foot volume standpoint they were cut too small. And I have very average sized feet. So sadly I had to send them back.

VERY warm and comfortable insole. And a rather nice outer texture. Unfortunately, I bought size 13 and these slippers/scuffs felt like they were size 11, and that's without socks I sometimes wear around the house. I thought I could just wear them a week or so to stretch them out, but after like 20 minutes my feet hurt real bad. Turns out there's some kind of chunky hard bit on the top of the thing that dug right into the top of my foot bone. Not fun. Fortunately L.L. Bean is really good about helping people sort out issues, so I'm not too tore up about it. For the insole alone, I'd still recommend this to some of my (smaller-footed) friends out there. Just, for really serious, order at LEAST one size bigger, more if you wear a half size.

heel structure is too soft and is crushed when walking. thus it no longer holds foot which slips out and becomes useless for purpose. a stronger heel that holds foot would solve this. why this could not be figured out by designer in first place is a mystery to me

These ran so small, I am 9 1/2 and the 10 was way too tight. They were tight too short, and across the top. Very uncomfortable. I won't buy slippers on line like this again.

My husband is a 10, always. He could not get his foot into these size 10 slippers. My son is a 9, he could not get his foot into these size 10 slippers. These look so good, but may only fit Cinderella. Do not order if you have a high instep.

Bought these for husband who has always worn an 8 in LLBean footwear. He liked the color and the style - but literally could not get his foot into the slipper except by removing the padded insole. The length is fine - it's just the size of the opening that didn't work. He doesn't have a wide foot or a particularly high arch, so we were completely surprised by the fit issue.

I've purchased dozens of LL Bean shoes over the years, of various styles. I'm a size 9 all day. When these arrived, they looked just like I was expecting. However, when I tried to put them onno way was I going to get my foot into that slipper. I even looked at the box to make sure it said 9, and not 8 or even 7. Hard to believe the sizing could be so far off. I just boxed them up and sent them back. Disappointed.

Ordered 1/2 size up and the slippers were still too small. Too short and too narrow. The shoe itself has a thin lining, which I wanted overall, but as a result there isn't much give in the shoe for a bad fit. This particular slipper design is probably not for me.
