This is the second pair that I purchased from ll bean. The first pair were fine no issues, actually they wore out so purchased this second pair about nine months ago. Well about three months ago as I did work around the yard my feet started getting wet and this has continued. I will need to get rid of these. I normally would have brought back and got another pair, but my understanding is that ll bean only honors for up to six months and you need the sales slip. Since I have excited the six months and don't have the sales slip looks like I am out of luck. Just as an FYI I have been a loyal ll bean customer for over 50 years and during that time your products have been superior. I still have sweaters that are ten years old and are in good condition. I have come to the conclusion that you have this return policy because the quality of your products have declined and your quality control leaves something to desire. Given this I will number one purchase another pair of shoes similar to your storm chasers but it will not be from ll bean. Second of all and sadly to say I will no longer buy anything from ll bean.

After 18 months "Storm Chaser" leaks badly. I cannot even walk over my heavily dewed yard in the morning without my socks getting wet. Separation of material in the area of the toe is allowing moisture into the boot. A real shame because the boot is comfortable to wear and the sole is quite rugged. This experience has caused me to re-evaluate Bean's reputation for quality.

I thought these boots were great at first - comfortable and kept foot dry in snow or rain weather when walking the dog in the backyard. But less than 18mths later, feet are soaking wet from just dew on the grass, and it's beyond the 12 month return period - LL Bean's quality is not what it used to be! Will be looking at other online competitors for a replacement which will be much cheaper and last just as long (which is a shame to say about LL Bean).

Originally purchased 81/2, my size in every shoe. They were too tight on left foot, maybe a defect? Exchanged for size 9 which is too big. Very disappointing! I won't rerun them since Bean charges $6.50 for every exchange. I don't recommend them for this reason.

It is not true to size (too small) and very difficult to get on and off

After less than a day of use, the back strap on one of the boots became detached. The return process was easy and I switched to the rubber moc shoe, which I can step into without using a strap.

Purchased my normal shoe size (12m) and these shoes are way to small. Interesting because this would have been my third pair of storm chasers. Still using my prox 8year old pair which are a 12m and fit perfectly even when using a heavy sock.

These look good and feel solid, but the sizing is so far off that it's ridiculous. I ordered a 14 based on the website's online tool saying 14 was the way to go. Thin socks, thick wool socks, it didn't matter as both heels of my feet kept slipping out. This was so noticeable that it felt like I was wearing flip flops. Before initiating the return today (3/16/22), I got on the LLB website and began chatting with someone about my issue. After explaining my issue 3-4 times, the individual still didn't understand what the problem was, so I ended the chat. Understanding heels slipping out of a shoe is a basic concept. I see no reason to buy from LLB now or in the future.

Heals slipped... loved the shoes but they didn't fit properly.

We ordered two pairs (one 9.5, and on 11.5) and both were way to small. Something is wrong with the sizing. Now we have to return them both which is just a waste of time. Really dissatisfied.

I ordered a half size larger to insure having the correct size due to all the reviews I ran through on line. My shoes arrived today and are too small. I have to do a return, and all three color selections are sold out, so I will just seek a refund and shop local and try on the shoes I wish to purchase.

One full size too small, after waiting for 2 months, sending back immediately.

So uncomfortable i couldnt wear them for more than an hour very high arch which bruised my feet.

The size was not a fit. Very loose and not fitted. Feels as if shoe does not provide ankle support.

I purchased these end of 2018 for Christmas, didn't really wear them all that much just to occasionally get the mail in the winter in light snow or slush. I put them on the other day to walk the dog and now my left toes get wet while walking in wet grass. Rest of shoes show hardly any wear and still look new, Dissapointed.

Don't buy these shoes. I got these shoes because they were waterproof. They were until I had them for three years. Then they began to leak. I realize Bean products are only guarantreed for one year but ,in my opinion, waterproof shoes are never supposed to leak especially since I only wore them about an hour a day when I walked the dogs. I sent them back and was told they leak because of general wear and tear.. I think I paid about $90 for them. That means all I got for my money was to rent these shoe for $30 a year. Things have changed a L.L. Bean and not for the better.

The construction and feel are perfect BUT these are extremely small and narrow. You must have narrow feet and order a size bigger than normal if you like these. Waste of $100

I'm sorry I can't recommend this boot. Men's size 11 fits length-wise but it's too narrow in the toe. I could have lived with this since maybe my foot is wide, but he pull loop on the heel (which is placed there because you'll need it to pull on over your heel, tore off in just a year's time. LLBean Customer Service wants me to send in for eval, rather than just replacing it which means I'd have to do without boots in wet/sloppy Spring season for up to six weeks. Caught between a rock and hard place.

I don't really know how to describe the fit. I have a pair of Storm Chaser zip up boots and love them, so decided to add a pair of the slip-ons. I'm not sure what you have done to them, but they are not the same anymore. I have tried wearing them a few times for short periods, but they are just too uncomfortable. They seem to pinch the toes while slipping off the heel at the same time. These are unfortunately just not the same Storm Chasers.

This was too narrow at the toes. Not at all comfortable. Returned immediately.

Very heavy and stiff, way too wide. I had to return this order.

The shoe was undersized and the opening was small & difficult to put on. The shoe should have a wide size.
