Something has changed.I can't figure out exactly what, but the slippers are not the same. I buy these every year, sometimes twice a year for my husband. I think they are making them a little bit shorter this year. My husbands feet have not changed but the slippers have.

Comfort and warmth are great, but not being washable means they're effectively useless. Too bad, I really liked them otherwise.

finishing my review: if the latest size exchange does not work, i may end up by simply returning the slippers for a refund. finally, if the back of the slipper were a bit higher, it would be easier to keep the slippers on.

Good construction,design and materials as expected in an l l bean product. However, size was smaller than expected.first time on years I have not been satisfied with l l bean product.

The positive - they fit great, true to size, they are good looking, and they are comfortable. The negative - they wear out way too fast, I only wore these around the house for less than a year (and not daily use) and they are falling apart - the rubber bottom has come off and I've had to glue it back on and the inside heels have holes in them now and totally worn away. Really poor quality. On top of that they retain moisture so unless I washed them every few days they started to stink terribly (my other slippers do not do that). I do not recommend these at all.

If you wear your slippers everyday, understand that these are not the pair you're looking for. I've worn these for about a year now and they are hopelessly worn out (big toe and ball of foot areas).The threading on the heal has also worn completely out. These slippers simply do not age well.

I had hoped that these slippers would be nice and comfy to wear around the house during the cold NH winters. Would these fit the bill? Not a chance. They are stiff as a board and no amount of breaking in would cure that, IMHO. Returned them immediately to my local LLBean outlet. That's what you get for ordering online I guess.

Nice slipper, but sizing is all wrong. My husband wears a size 10 and needed at least an 11. We went somewhere else to get slippers.

From description, seemed to be just the slippers I've been looking for, even though it was for men & I'm a woman. Thought I could figure out difference between mens & womens shoe sizes to get a good fit. Not so: tried wearing them but slippers too long & kept falling off my feet (even when I wore socks!) Next size down would probably be too short. Guess I should have paid more attention to reviews complaining about slippers being too long. Am returning them. Positive side: color & material of slipper top & bottom seemed very good. (If only they fit...)

Was surprised after reading all the stellar reviews. Footbed drops off right after the heel, creating discomfort right in the middle of the foot. Expected a little more thoughtful design, but at this price, probably asking too much.

Too Small. I usually wear a 9.5 and these were simply too small. Apparently I am in the minority. Otherwise fine construction and quality.

I owned these slippers many years ago. I bought them for my husband and I and they lasted a long time. These are a pitiful example of the old ones. The material is TOTALLY different. The quality is sub standard. BUTthe PRICE is still the same.

The slippers were well made. Bought them for my 88 year old father. He has high insteps, so he couldn't get his foot into the slippers. The opening wasn't large enough. He has boney feet, with no extra padding. Had we tried a size up, then they would have been too long.

Waited 2 months to receive these slippers and the 2nd time worn the front came unglued and were unable to wear. They were easy to slip on but the soles very poor quality.

Purchased 3 pairs.They are comfortable but seem to wear out quicker each time.
The insides rip apart and have a hole from my toe on the outside.

After a couple days of breaking in, these were probably the most comfortable slippers I've worn in a long time. Unfortunately, in less than 3 weeks of regular wear (indoors only), the rubber tread has already started to peel away from the bottom of one slipper.
I don't know if this is a design/manufacturing flaw, or if it is just a one-off issue, but it was extremely disappointing to have them falling apart after such a short period of use.

I'm looking for a comfortable slip on house slipper I was disappointed. Materials are nice and they are well made. These are not "slip on". You have to cram your feet in them to wear them which is not why I bought them. I don't recommend these for a slip on house slipper

Earlier I wrote about the size 11 I tried. This review is for the reorder of size 12. When I first slip my foot in my heel is about 1/8" inside or slightly more from the back "lip". As I walk in the slippers my heel tends to go back on top of that lip. Walking on that lip is uncomfortable. The part that goes over the top of the foot is still so tight that it leaves a strong indentation on the top of my foot after I take off the slippers. This pair has been returned also. I'll keep looking.
