I wear a 14 and the last pair I purchased seemed as if they were larger and fit better than these these are not true to size in my opinion

Great slipper, but I suggest to order at least a half size larger so foot doesn't hit the back raised lip. The bridge across the top of the foot is tight and pinches.

These were exactly the style I was looking for but I would suggest ordering up one whole size from what you normally wear.

I ordered one full size above my son's shoe size, and it was still too small. I had to pay shipping to return the small ones, though I hope not to be charged for shipping for the larger replacement.

I really wanted to love these scuff slippers. They are comfortable, but they started to wear on the inside within a few months. Seems to me that none of Bean's products are made like they used to be and unfortunately they don't stand behind their products like they used to.

This is my 3rd pair of scuffs. I got about a year of wear each out of the 1st 2 pairs. However, I have only had these a month, and they are already showing (and feeling) a lot of wear.

But... they don't last long, this is maybe my 5th pair, trust me these are great slippers but for $40 I wish they would last longer.

These are very comfy slippers - they keep my feet snug and warm - but I'm somewhat disappointed they seem ready to fall apart after a bit more than a year. I've worn holes through the insole, and the rubber bottom sole is detaching from the slipper.

Can't give a full review yet as we ordered regular shoe size as listing recommends and they are too small in the length, but also too tight on the top of the foot. Many reviews state that the slippers are too narrow, but I think it's really more that the stitching around the opening of the slipper is too tight. We just reordered the next size up and hopefully that will work.

i purchased these slippers after the holidays 2018. I really loved them most of the year. Then a couple of months ago I noticed the the front of the sole was pulling away. Recently I noticed that the heel is wearing inside the slipper. It's a great price point and a good slipper. But is it too much to ask that I get more than a year out of a pair?

I have purchased multiple pairs of scuffs over the years but it hasn't been due to normal wear. Usually I have replaced them because my multiple dogs have chewed on them to the point they are no longer comfortable. I purchased another replacement pair last month, and the fit isn't the same. They are a bit too small and there isn't as much fabric around my heal. My last pair was very snug but this new pair feels more like flip flops. I am pretty sure they will slip off as soon as I walk down some stairs to let my dog out. Are they warm...yes! Are they comfortable to walk around the house...no.

I purchased these slippers just after the 2018 holidays. At first they were a little tight but after a short time the inside padding molded to my feet and they fit. I've really liked these slippers, but recently I noticed that the sole in the fronts was beginning to pull away. Then the other day I noticed that the fabric inside under my heels is wearing and about to rip. Would I purchase these again? maybe... But I did think when I purchased slippers from LLBean (regardless of price point) that they'd last more than a year. Honestly the quality has turned out to be dissapointing!

About 3 months ago ordered 3 LL Bean shoes and they are great. Ordered the same size on the slipper and they are way small.

I purchased the item knowing that the quality of L.L. Bean products have always been good. To my surprise, after wearing the slippers a while, I found out the the only way to clean them was to hand wash, and let them air dry. Hard to do, especially during the winter. So, after a few washings, the inside is frayed and you can't get rid of the musty odor. It would be great if they made the same product that was machine washable.

I ordered these slippers for my boyfriend for Christmas. We have always had good luck with size at LL Bean and I think this was just "one of those things" where the size was completely off. He normally wears a 9-10 so I purchased the 9. He could barely get his foot into the slipper they were so narrow and his foot would have been hanging over the back. So, we went to a local store and had them shipped back (free of charge) and they sent a 10....same issue. He could barely get his foot all the way into the slipper without them cutting off his circulation. This time the length was ok, but there was no way he would wear them being that tight. At this point we're laughing because we had to send them back AGAIN. Finally he ordered the size 11 (which he has never been in his life) and he was able to get his foot into them and commented about how "cozy" they are now that they fit. Great product, just a little "off" with the suggested sizing.

The slippers are ok, but be warned that they are not sized correctly. They were for my son who wears a size 13 in shoes, sneakers and snowboard boots. Had to send them back because the back of his foot hung over the edge. Now have to pay an additional $6.50 for shipping.

Love that you offer a non-wool slipper for those allergic to wool. Slipper seems nice & fairly well made but it runs ridiculously small. Too narrow at end. Too small overall. Not true to size. I have another version of this slipper from LLBean in same size from a couple years ago. The 2018 version is noticeably smaller even though the 2 slippers are the same size!

This is my second purchase and compared to the first, this one has very narrow opening making it uncomfortable and inconvenient for user. Hopefully it will get stretched out with constant use.

I am satisfied with the quality of these slippers for the price. However, like several other reviewers, I found them to be too small. I consistently wear a men's 9, which I ordered, even though other reviewers warned the slippers are sized small. My bad! The size 9 I ordered was indeed too short, and I gave it an honest try of almost a week in case they would stretch with wear. The back/heel also seemed shorter than I expected based on the picture, but that might be connected to the overall size. I will know better when my exchange is processed (it has been two weeks since I mailed the return and my account says it is "processing").

My husband wears size 10 and I bought an11 and they were not long enough or loose enough.fit snug on top of your foot.

way too tight - my husband should return these as he cant get his foot in. they need to be wider in the instep.

Nice quality slippers but they run small and narrow.

Run small, inner arch is not positioned correctly- uncomfortable; these just feel cheaply made- am returning for credit- suggest you look at other products

Might as well have used piece of wood for the sole.
