Novice to hiking, went to flagship store to gather info. Sales staff extremely helpful suggested this shoe as most bang for buck. If hiking doesn't work out could use this as a winter boot. So far hiking is great and shoe is definitely worth it. Has a steel shank in the arch so cushions foot against rocks and unevenness of trails.

This pair feels a little tight on the right foot. I expect with little use, the boot will stretch. Love the color.

Love them as in fit great no break in necessary. I have had several pair over the years. When I deviate things don't always go well. Only once do I remember a challenge with this boot. SOOOOOOOOOO comfortable.

These are my second set of these boots. I love these boots. They fit well and look good and are very comfortable. I wear them instead of sneakers many times a week. These boots also wear well.

These boots are very comfortable. The seem to run a 1/2-size smaller than say my sneakers. They work great as summer day hiking boots and because they are waterproof they will work well for my winter daily exercise walks (generally sidewalks, but I'm in MA, so not always clear).

So far the hiking boots have performed well. My feet have stayed dry in morning dew conditions. I walk 1.5 miles each Monday through Friday on a dirt road to break them in. I have been pleased with the purchase so far. They are comfortable and have fit my feet well.

Ordered online, they were shipped and arrived a day earlier than stated, awesome. Due to large and wide shoe size, I would only purchase Merrell. Figured I'd give it a shot since I was gifted a gift card. Looks like I now have two brands to choose from. Looking forward to Colorado hikes this spring.

The boots were delivered ahead of estimated delivery date. I've had the boots for about a month and have accrued about 75 miles mostly on pavement. The boots were quite stiff when new, but have become quite comfortable as they have become broken in. I would recommend these boots.

Very nice boot. Interestingly, I take a size 13 on every pair of footwear I've purchased since an adult. These boots in a 13 were way too snug. Maybe they all run small. No problem though. Returned them to the store in Marlton; found a pair in 14. Feel very good!
