I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. They are replacing 20+yr old ones and just in time. He says they fit perfectly and are warm and comfortable.

Fit and feel is great! I have a narrow foot and fits perfect! So far the quality has been really good. My foot doesn't bump around at all. I normally have this problem. The tread gripped very well even in mostly loose leaves

I was really pleased on how well they fit and found them very comfortable. Our daily hikes take us through mostly wet, muddy and this time of year snow covered terrain and these boots stay perfectly dry.

My grandson is very pleased with his boots. Fit well; stayed dry.

Second pair of this model, first one still going strong after two years of hard wear but decided it was time for something new (or old as it were). Second pair as comfortable as the first, wear them almost every day as a gardener at a botanical garden.

These boots are very comfortable and sturdy.There was no break in period with them.

I wear these Boots when it rains and they really keep your feet very warm and dry! I would purchase these again as they are true to their description!!!

I buy these shoes every year for my husband, either Christmas or his birthday. very well made, LL Bean shoes are the only ones i found so far that will last a year without falling apart. he is hard on shoes!

These hikers are a solid firm supportive foundation that provides great comfort to the wearer. However they do require a few days of break in. Wet days so far have been dry feet. I highly recommend them.

Bought these same boots 20 or so yrs ago and I find these somewhat more comfortable. True to size and description given.

Bought these as replacement of older hiking boots, (not LL Bean). Boots fit true to size and are comfortable. They've been wet, but not saturated, and have held up well. Also provide good ankle support, which was one of the reasons I bought these. I anticipate they will continue to wear well.

Best hiking boot I've ever had. Light, supple, waterproof without being hot or confining. Proven good on long hikes around Point Reyes and in the Sierra Nevada without the least complaint. With all due respect, it's a huge improvement over the classic Bean boot.

Great shoe - just what you'd expect from LL Bean. I have found it a 'tad' snug but that's because 'wide' today is a EE and my foot is a EEE. Great traction and weather protection.

I put these boots to work straight out of the box with great success. Over the course of three days I hiked two hours per day on a paved trail, a "natural" trail with light grades, and a challenging trail of rocks, roots, loose material, etc to the top of a waterfall. Toe box, ankle support and overall boot weight were spot on. Aside from gathering dust, the boots show no signs of serious wear and tear. The laces even remained tight! When not hiking, they were comfortable enough to be my "daily drivers". I wear a men's size 10 of unexceptional width and the boots were true to size.

This is the second pair of Model 4 hikers i have bought and they always meet or exceed my expectations.

Lightweight and durable. Use them for landscaping.

My husband always wanted Bean boots but was waiting till his old boots fell apart. Well my cat helped him by urinating in his worn out boots.
