These boots are awesome! The fit is good (not as narrow as I've read) and just snug enough when wearing a pair of heavy socks. The tumbled leather gives the boot a classy look and is much softer than the 'ole felt pacs. The treads are adequate. This boot will definitely be welcome when the winter snows come.

Fit as expected. I wear a size nine shoe and got these in that size. Very comfortable. I purchased them to wear when plowing on my tractor. While they are very well insulated, they are not so oversized that they look huge while wearing. Also, they are from Bean's so if there is any problem, I know I can return them.

Nice bootI'm between 11.5/12 so had to get a size 12. They feel nice on feet. Slightly big but not big enough where I'm going to return them. I would recommend this boot

Nice boot for winter. Keep feet dry well. Easy on and off.

Fit is good although there are no half sizes so I had to order a size up. Size 9. Well built and water/snow proof. A little more insulation at the bottom would be good. Cold begins to seep through from the bottom after being out in them for more than an hour. I got some insulating insoles to help with that and to take up that extra half size.

These are overall very nice boots. The only thing I dislike is the extremely soft sole. I prefer a sole less flexible

Excellent appearance, fit, and materials but the removeable liners were firmly anchored to the sealant used to waterproof the seams. Not sure if the boots will still stay dry after wrangling the liners loose to take them out. Would have rated them a 5 except for this problem.

I only rated these boots a 4 because I haven't used them in brutally cold weather yet. Bought to replace my 35 year old Sorels. These are very similar to the Sorels and hope to have them last as long.

Had to buy larger size than needed because half sizes were not offered. Bought larger rather than smaller.

very dissatisfied very disappointed. It would have saved me money, gas having to return the 2 shipments of ill fitting boots if on the site there would be clear information indicating some products are made in Maine and others ???????? I am not inclined to continue to shop at LL Beans after this irritating experience.

While the quality may be great, it seems so annd I trust LL Bean when it comes to durability, the fit was awful. The circumfrence of the shoe both on the foot and shin was far too great to be considered normal or medium. I wear a medium shoe and have never had an issue before. Also, consider I put on two layers of socks and there was still so much room the boot was slipping, failing to stay in place making even walking difficult.

Nice looking boot no doubt... but, the bottom rubber is very thin.. like your feet are right on the ice n snow. Have to buy n form fitting sole/ arch.. also should be part of the boot... Tread should be Thicker and more aggressive...If you call them ''Snow boots'' then make them snow boots...Make them Great....

looks great. Was advised by the customer service that in general, sizing of L.L. Bean shoes is based on Brannock sizing (so please get this sizing, rather than your "usual" sneaker or boot size). for this particular model, it advises potential buyers to order up for half sizes. I'm a US 7.5D in Brannock (for reference, my comfortable sneaker size in Adidas or Nike is US 8.5) and for this model, I got size 8.0. The pair I got fits well, especially using a pair of midweight socks (from Darn Tough); tried as well a pair of heavyweight socks (from the same brand) and it's already a snug fit -- the next size available is already a 9.0 and I think that would be really loose. I hope this review helps a lot of people deciding on which size to take. In terms of construction, it looks really good. I'm just worried that there's not that much cushion on the sole (i.e. between your foot and the ground) but I think this pair has compensated a lot on other areas such as insulation and construction. looking forward to use this in my upcoming winter trip.

As soon as you unbox these boots, its apparent LL Bean is still doing it right. Yes they are on the heavier and bulkier side, but thats the point. They are purpose built, and expertly crafted. 20 degrees with shin high snow and my feet were almost too warm. Feels like a boot Ill never have to buy again.

Good boot for hunting but I don,t think it would suffice for Ice fishing in zero weather all day.

Snow boots?, frozen water?, and sometimes slush?, upper leather not waterproof.?.. ok, so we have to buy the wax and wax them. ourselves....great...Soles are super thin, you can feel every pebble, rock n stones n twigs.... not made for walking...my opinion, look great but, the thin sole was something I can't deal with or fix... back they go... buyer beware.

Sizing is off as I have worn a 10.5 in every shoe/boot for 30 years, and upsized based on the recommendations by LL Bean. Even with a thick sock, this was immediately too big. Sent back and sadly, have waited more than a month for a replacement. Seems like the advertising team/money should be reallocated to customer service & returns? Not my business but this turnaround time is giving me a bad impression of the company.

My husband is very satisfied and happy with this purchase. Recently his pair of duck shoe boots from years ago maybe 1980s needed everything but the leather replaced so we sent them to LLBean for refurbishing. Happy with practically a new boot we decided he might need a taller similar boot for our new home in Lake Eries snow belt. We purchased this boot and hoped it would be comfortable with possibly 2 layers of socks if needed. He has room in the boot for that if needed and has claimed they are quite comfortable for walking and snow-blowing. He wears an 8.5 size in all shoes but has a 9 in both L L.Bean boots.

Ive had my boots for 25+ years. They've had lots of use and still look and feel brand new. Best boots Ive ever owned. Buy them once and keep them for life. I remember debating whether to spend the money on them; sure glad i did.

I bought these for my husband, not sure of sizing. At first he thought the 10 was a little big, but they have turned out to be ok because of warm socks and laces. He usually wears a 9 or 9 1/2. The leather is softer than other brands of this style and forms nicely to his ankle. So far, they seem warm.

Always wanted a pair of these, only took 80 years to happen. No snow yet but has been cold enough. I'm sure they will perform as well as all other LL Bean items I have purchased over the years that I have been a customer/fan.

I was hoping to remove the liners and use them for summer yard work, but unfortunately they're way too big without the liners!! Also, not really a fan of the souls either, other than that, they seem to be a quality boot!!!
