Never got to wear them. They were too small, and I left them out to return them. My son mistook them for the new boots we had bought him, so I could not return them...

I ordered these winter boots for my husband as a gift. He wears a size 11 boot. But, they were way too small, so I returned that pair and asked for a size 12 in exchange. When the size 12 arrived, he tried them on, and they were too narrow. So, I returned those for credit on my LL Bean credit card. His older, winter boots from LL Bean still fit him well, but they have a tear in the rubber on the bottom side. Those are a size 11, and that pair have always fit. This new pair were too small and too narrow!

Why isn't this made in the USA or Canada This book should be made in North America. There is no reason except increase profits for this route to be made in Asia

They are not the same quality as they used to be when they were made in the US. Ordered as per the size chart, way too tight. If you ever start making them here again like the Bean boots of old let me know. Would not recommend at all

I purchased these boots for my teenage son to wear on a Maine snowmobiling adventure that we scheduled during the month of February. The boots looked great and the leather was nice and soft. After wearing the boots for a short time playing in the snow, the felt liners became soaked. We thoroughly dried the boots overnight on a boot warmer before snowmobiling the next day. My assumption was that my son allowed snow to get into the boot while he was playing. After a short time on the trail, my son complained that his feet were wet inside the boots. Again we let the boots dry overnight on the boot warmer. I was beginning to think that maybe my son's feet were sweating too much causing the liners to become soaked. To test this theory, we wrapped the felt liners with plastic grocery bags prior to inserting them back in the boots. His feet and the liners remained dry on the second day of snowmobiling but the inside of the boots were soaking wet again. We stopped at LL Bean and returned the boots on our way home. I would not recommend this product.

LL Bean, back in the day, stood for quality. I owned a pair of boots like these in the 80's and decided to buy again many years later. From the first step it felt like I was walking barefoot and not in a good way. Today with tempts in the single digits it feels like my socks are on the cold frozen ground. Do not buy these!
