Purchased these slippers at the end of October in the fall, have been wearing them nearly daily since, indoors only. It's now the beginning of March, and I've just about worn through the lining in part of the right slipper entirely, and getting close on the left. They're otherwise great, and the exterior is in perfect condition still. The lining, however, seems to wear out very fast... I haven't even had these for half a year yet. I bought these to replace a different pair from another brand that I had been using for several years... on that other pair, the sole was separating from the upper but the lining was still in great condition. Looks like I just can't win with slippers.

Ordered a Men's size 12D and it was too narrow and too short. Had to return. It says that it will at first fit "snug," but this was really too tight.

These were a Christmas gift from my parents. They were very comfortable slippers but in less than a year a hole developed in the side which I thought was a strange spot. The clerk at the LL Bean store said it was "normal wear" and would not uphold the guarantee. I believe the quality has dropped during these last five+ years and I will instead have to search out another brand that uses better quality materials and stands by their product.

Purchased for my son in January of 2019, upon his return from school I noticed the stitching has started to come apart on one of the slippers. In full disclosure after noticing this I proceeded to had wash the slippers and did get them much more wet than a spot wash. This was after I noticed the stitching issue and had nothing to do with my cleaning. I spoke to customer service to see if this is something they could repair and they said they could not but to send in for warrantee evaluation. I spoke to a representative and was declined warrantee because I got them too wet while cleaning even though the stitching issue was prior to cleaning and had nothing to do with the quality of the stitching and the fact that they were more than a year old. Just be cautious of the stitching prior to the one-year mark and buy with the understanding that the LL Bean warrantee is not what it used to be. Previously loyal customer that has spent about $1,000 per year.

After researching many brands, I asked for these for Christmas, mostly influenced by the positive reviews. When I put them on, one slipper was much narrower in the toe box, squishing my toes together. Poor quality control there. In addition, the sole is extremely narrow so your feet easily roll to one side... they are a sprained ankle or fall waiting to happen IMO. I returned them and will continue my search.

So, so disappointed. I have ordered these shoes for numerous people for gifts through the years. They aren't the same quality as they used to be. LL Bean used to be known for their great return policy, which made it easier to spend so much for a pair of slippers. That policy is not what it used to be. This pair of shoes did not last 9 months. Very disappointed in quality of product and helpfulness of team member. I think you are better off getting a cheaper pair of slippers and just replacing them more often. It would definitely be cheaper.

Purchased a pair of storm chaser slip on shoes (size 11) a couple of months ago. I am very pleased with the fit of that product, When shopping for these slippers I was unsure of the size and asked your representative about sizing. They suggested going up a size so I went with the larger 12. I think they may stretch some, so they are a bit to large.

I had to return the first pair of these slippers due to bad quality and fit. The left slipper looked much different than the right side and it was hard to tell which foot it was for due to bad design. The 2nd pair isn't much better. The right side will slip off my foot sometimes because the flap that goes over the top of the foot is shorter than on the other side; not quite long enough to keep the slipper on. One side looks different than the other, not like a matched pair. The left slipper that stays on fine has a longer flap that goes over the top of the foot. Not the quality I had come to expect from L.L. Bean after about 25 years of being a customer.

I bought these after foot and ankle surgery to wear around the house. (In Hawaii, we generally do not wear shoes indoors.) I really needed the support that the sole provides and the sole is excellent. I had trouble with the fit but my right foot is a mess after decades of Karate and Ironman races. Broken bones, etc. The reason I had to throw them away was that the fleece lining started to stink after about a month. I won't buy these again. I found a similar pair on a major web marketer with a flannel lining that was about half the price and works much better. It has the same sole.

I have owned these for just over a year. Received them in Jan 2019. I only wear them around the house and in the colder months (spend the summer in the closet unworn). The material of the toes on the right slipper split at the seam. Called customer service and they require I send them back to be reviewed. these are not good quality. Seems previous versions were higher quality.

I can't wear them. They are way too tight. I have bought slippers from LLB for Years. This is the first pair that I really cannot use. Very disappointed.

I love these slippers they are very comfortable. But the sad and unfortunate truth is that they are not made to what you expect out of LL Bean quality. For a more expensive premium slipper you expect quality. I order my first pair in the summer of 2018 and by January of 2019 I already needed a new pair due to the suede separating from the sole. Now as I right this review February of 2020 the replacement pair is doing the same thing. Very disappointed.

Only had it a day when I got some water on the side of one slipper and when it dried it left it "stained" and hard. Spoke to someone on this site's online support, was told to use a drop of dawn soap and a rag and now the same weird, hard, and dry "stain" is larger and worse.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of these slippers over the years and for whatever reason this particular pair is much, much (did I say "much") wider than the MEDIUM shown on the tags -- will be returning. Not sure if LLB has a new manufacturer or not but simply not wearable as is with this width. Length perfect.

They run a little small so we had to exchange my son's slippers for the next size (and a $6.50 exchange fee, boo! Your competitors don't charge for exchanges). The new slippers arrived ~10 days later, they were very cozy and my son wore them all evening. When he took his slippers off to go to bed his feet were stained orange. I emailed LLBean and they said "we know", would you like to exchange them? As they "know" I didn't see the rationale for exchanging them so my son now wears socks with his slippers. We now have an extensive orange sock collection.

I reviewed this earlier but could not find it to edit. This slipper is sized too large and if that is not enough it stretches, or seems to. The slipper also has zero structure so your foot tends to 'yaw' if not walking in a straight line. If I could return them, I would.

Had to return first pair as one slipper was defective. Replaced by local store and had to return it as well as one was also defective. Third pair finally OK. Very disappointed in Bean's quality. Used to be first class, now everything is made in China and it shows.

These slippers don't come in a wide width. They are very narrow. Though the literature enclosed says that in time they will adjust to your feet - it is hard to believe. I have very sensitive feet and I am unwilling to experience the discomfort and pain trying to get the slippers to stretch. Don't get me wrong, I have been a very loyal LL Bean customer for over 50 years. This is just a warning to others or a message to LL Bean.

I am most disappointed with the fact that these slippers fell apart at the seam after about 5 wears in the house. For the price point, and being an L.L. Bean product, I expected more. Yes, I know they will take care me but it's a hassle. The wait to receive them with their lowest cost shipping (and not so cheap at that) was too long, and I need slippers now. bummer

I'll start by saying I've had these in the past in fact I still wear them but the liners are worn out. So I ordered a new pair expecting the same fit and comfort but I was wrong it was very uncomfortable in the tow and the side label also bothered me. It may have just been a bad pair but for the price I returned them. I won't say don't get them because my previous pair were awesome. Just not for me this time.

I decided to splurge in 2016 (Christmas) and buy these slippers for my husband. I've always spent less on his slippers because they only last him a year. (He wears them EVERY day). It's now March 2018 and he showed me how the outsides look great, but the inside fur has worn through in many spots. I'm mad at myself for spending so much, thinking they would last longer.

My husband has worn Bean's Wicked Good Slippers forever and at Christmastime decided to order the Venetian instead of the Camp Moc style. These were on backorder and was happy to receive them at Valentine's Day. He was extremely disappointed, however, as both slippers seemed to have a defect in the toe area. There was a ridge or seam under the sheepskin lining that made them very uncomfortable to the bottom of the foot/toes. This problem was bad enough that they had to go back. I feel really bad about this since in all other ways, the slippers were great. I was afraid to try another pair.

I bought these for my husband last November for Christmas and they were warm and comfortable, but they have just recently split at the seam (front toe). Too bad. The fur is from Australia, but I believe they were made in China, (of course). I just wish LL Bean would not import so much from China; it seems that the quality has suffered.

I've just returned these slippers. They have a very narrow width, I normally wear a size 11B and even after trying to wear them until they molded to my foot as per the enclosed card they were uncomfortable around the forefoot area. Also the insulating material used for the lining was beginning to mat and ball up in the sole area. I also ordered the elk skin slippers from this site and find them to be excellent both in material and fit. But again I am a Size 11B and ordered these because most of the reviews said they ran narrow. I would recommend LLBean get a handle on these sizing issues!!!
