I owned a pair of these for a few years in the Chocolate Brown color before they finally wore out and i decided to replace them with the blue ones. After a little mixup with a 10 marked as an 11 being sent to me, I finally received the correct size. The slipper is exactly like the old ones except for one very strange new difference. On the right slipper's heel section, there's a hard lump of exposed blue stitching that's quite a bit rougher than the shearling wool that covers the rest of the inside. When i went to check the incorrect size slipper, this same stitching appears in the same spot on only the right slipper - It's just how they're constructed now. This stitching change is a huge disappointment. For a slipper that's almost double the price of everything else on the market, I expected any rough stitching to be covered up completely like they have been in the past. This also doesn't appear to be an issue on other colors (I bought a pair of Wicked Good Camp Moccasins for my girlfriend, no exposed threads there despite the stitching being in the same spot). I "fixed" it with a bit of adhesive padding for boots, and I'm hoping that I either get used to it or it softens up with time. The blue is a great color, and otherwise fits and feels exactly like other Bean slippers I've owned. I hope that they address this manufacturing "feature" in future iterations of this color, or discontinue it if it cannot be adjusted.

They were too small, so I went to the local LL Bean store and tried the next larger size and they were too big. I really like their products and I'm stuck without new slippers.

The slippers were supposed to be adequate for a medium width individual. But they were much too tight

These are expensive slippers and I expected them to last quite a while. Unfortunately, the sole is made of a cushiony material that flattens unevenly. The soles on the outside of my feet were completely flat, while the inside (arches) were still uncompressed. This led to me putting pressure on the outside of the slipper where the stitching is. Unfortunately, the stitching broken down and broke and the uppers detached from the lowers. I bought these in late 2018, a few months after LL Bean changed their return policy. I tried exchanging them for a new pair (hoping mine had been defective), but LL Bean refused to honor the exchange. My last pair of LL Bean slippers lasted almost 10 years. I'll skip paying a premium for slippers and buy cheaper ones elsewhere if they are going to wear out in 3 seasons.

The inside does not last and comes out. This is the second pair that this has happened to. My daughter had originally purchased these as a birthday gift for me. I expected more from a $79 pair of slippers and from LL Bean.

They have a tag that sticks up right where your foot goes and if you cut it then it could rip the lining.

The product is not what I thought it would be. The material is cheaper looking than in years past. The bottom material is plastic like and do not care for it.

The 1st pair i received were terrible. The quality of this slipper was so bad. Looked really cheap like a pair of $20 slippers. The fit was so tight also. I ordered a 2nd pair and they were much better. Not sure what is happening with ll bean. But the products are not what they used to be.

I've bought 3 pair of these slippers for my husband in the last 2-3 years, the last pair in January 2021. The front side portion of the slipper is already busted through. He loves the warmth but we need a better option. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

While they are comfortable the inside lining does not last and comes out. LL Bean does not warranty their products like they used to. I will buy other company's slippers from now on. Very disappointed in LL Bean.

Sole was quite uncomfortable to walk on in our all tile house. The middle felt higher than the sides rather than flat and seemed to protrude into my feet. Did not like the comfort at all. Also the size 9 was too tight for me.

LL Bean has known for many reviews that the tag sticking out at the seam in the bottom of the shoe hurts feet. I thought I had chosen a pair that did not include that tag, but sadly this pair has a rough tag that rubs and scratches the inner sole. You've had enough notice to fix it so please do.

So narrow, particularly at the toe, that there was no way it would fit my son although he has fairly narrow feet.

Received the slippers, plush, warm, comfy. exactly as described. however after 1 week of wearing the top part of the slipper came undone. as in the stitching let go and now there's a big hole. Not what i expect from L.L.Bean, probably wont buy again.

When these are new they are excellent, but LL Bean quality isn't even close to what the brand used to stand for. I bought these in Feb. 2020 and by the following winter the seam was ripped and the sole separated from the slipper. LL Bean customer service said too bad, that it was a wear issue and not a quality issue and they wouldn't replace. To me, seams coming undone on slippers that fit is a quality issue, particularly a year after purchasing an $80 pair. Unacceptable and extremely disappointed.

The shoes only come in one width and I have a narrow foot so the heel does not grab my foot securely.

Love them on the inside, but I can't stand hard, stiff soles on a houseshoe. They go "ka-lonk, ka-lonk, ka-lonk" when you walk around the house. That doesn't bother some people, but for me it's very irritating.

I have returned two pairs because of poor workmanship. Not like the old LL Bean when products were built to last

They are a pair, in the sense that one goes on the left foot and the other on the right foot, but the parts which cover my toes look like they were made for different size slippers. I think quality control is lacking.

The traction of the sole is good but if one doesn't walk carefully, the sole can "grip" the floor causing fall. And as good a traction there is, it is still very, very slippery. Just a little moisture will cause slipping. Sorry I bought these.

My husband loved LLBean slippers. His last pair got worn out after a few years, so I purchased him a new pair. I ordered him a new pair in January 2021, received them in February, and they literally fell apart in March! He only wears them in the house. He works from home sitting at a computer all day, but these slippers look like he just ran the Boston marathon in them! We are extremely disappointed in the quality of these slippers! I've included pictures of the wear and, literally, tear of these slippers.
