Love the look and feel of this slipper. I was sorry to find that it was overall too small and too tight. The option of going a full size larger would send them the other way. An insert says that this slipper will loosen and won't be as tight over time (indicating that they often get this complaint). For me, they're way too tight to plan on that happening, especially when it's "on my own dime".

Have had about 16 months, The liner is worn out. Yesterday I noticed that the inside edge has pulled away from the bottom of the right slipper leaving a hole. Very disappointed.

These are warm and cozy but started falling apart after a year and a half. For $80 slippers? No way they should only last that long. I don't think I want to pay essentially $40/yr for slippers. I won't repurchase.

I received these slippers as a gift for Christmas 2020. Pros: warm, true to size, very comfortable, no slip on those cold floors! Con: poor quality leather shearling and workmanship. I've had these for less than two years and the leather is tearing at the toes (see photo). I never wear these outside, we have no pets, and I only use them for 4-5 months of the year and only in the morning before I leave the house for the day. So my usage is quite limited. These should last 5+ years given my low level of use. I took them to the LL Bean in Rockville, MD and they refused an exchange for a similar pair. They claimed it was "normal wear & tear" when it's clear that low quality shearling leather and poor workmanship is to blame. Very dissatisfied with the outcome and would not recommend these to others. Will rethink future LL Bean purchases given that they no longer honor their guarantee.

Overall, a good slipper. But the tags on the inside of the slipper are in a bad location making the slipper uncomfortable

No size 101/2 Size 11 was too big, so slippers were floppy. Customer service suggested size 10, and keep whichever was the better fit and send back the other pair. I kept the size 10 (better fit but not great) and sent back the size 11. Refund has been deposited to my credit card. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. So nice to talk to an English speaker and not talk to a robot.

I've probably owned a dozen pairs of slippers like these. Until they went out of business, I bought them from Peal & Co. in London The last six or so were from LL Bean, All were excellent until this pair. They must have changed manufacturers because, while everything else seems the same, the back of the heel is less stiff, more pliable. This means that, when I put them on, I can't just slide my feet in without being very careful. This is time consuming and annoying. I'll probably return them in the hope that the replacement pair won't be the same.

Really wanted to love these slippers, but had to return them twice because the fit is just not there. One size too small, and another too large. Perhaps 1/2 sizes are in order??

I absolutely love these slippers for their comfort and warmth. That's why I was super disappointed the fell apart after year of use.

The sidewall of this slipper caved in after about a week of wear. They say it's a size D, but it seemed to be exceptionally narrow. I've ordered these slippers in the past, and not had this problem until after several months of wearing them. I do wish you'd bring back the corduroy version. They lasted the longest!

The inside sole bunches up and is uncomfortable. There is no foot support in the upper shoe. My toes were cramped even though my toes had the room.

Fit was way off from the last pair I bought. Thought I could break them in over time, but wound up being too tight to the point where my feet hurt. Had to stop wearing them. Looked nice though.

Ordered these for my husband for Christmas. It’s March and they are already starting to fall apart. I love LL Bean and usually have good luck. But I wouldn’t get these again.

The slipper is fairly comfortable but the lining started coming out in clumps almost immediately. I expected much better from LLBean, especially for the price !

I have purchased these slippers before, several times and have loved them . This time however, they did not hold their shape for support. Very disappointing since they are expensive I wrote to customer service about this but no response. Usually LL Bean is better than this.

I ordered on 11D which is my normal size. When I received the order the left slipper fit great but the right slipper was noticeably narrower and much tighter on my foot. Seemed to be a narrow size.... Also the stitching on the two slippers didnt match. Seemed to be made from two different types of material and sewing machines. I tried them on once boxed them back up and returned them the next day. I had purchased the slippers on a credit card and requested a refund (credit back to my card) but they mailed me an LL Bean gift card instead about 2 weeks later. This was the first purchase that I had made from LL Bean in several years and dont plan to make any purchases in the foreseeable future so a gift card has no value. So they kept my $77.83 AND the mismatched sized slippers. Very disappointing...

For over 10 years, I get a new pair of these slippers every year and I love them. For whatever reason, these do not fit right. I have exchanged them 2 times and each time the fit is 'off'. I will be returning these and trying a different brand. Very disappointed.

Sizing runs big! These slippers were nice looking; but even though I ordered my usual size, they were too big and too wide. After being excited about receiving them, I had to return them.

These are very comfortable slippers and this would have earned 4 or 5 stars; however, a hole tore in my slippers after only about a year of use. For the price, a year of use isn't worth the money. I firmly believe one of my slippers had a flaw, but since I was out of the 1-year window LL Bean won't replace the pair (as per a store associate). I loved these slippers, but I likely won't purchase LL Bean slippers again because of the quality concern.

Extremely floppy and lose. Slips around on my feet. The length is correct to size but even though I have a wide foot they are crazy wide and are a horrible fit. Very disappointed

These run large, wider and longer than my old L.L. Bean slippers of the same type. I'm not sure what "shearling" is supposed to be, but the lining is more like long haired fur than the enveloping woolly fleece of my old ones. Overall these are less comfortable and seem to be more cheaply made than previous versions. I don't like them, but you might. These would seem better if I did not have my old ones to compare-the old ones were dynamite. These are just average at best.

They are warm slippers to wear around the house, inside and outside. The material on the right slipper began separating after a few weeks of wearing than occasionally only in the house.
