Received my new slippers today and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable, very well crafted, and attractive. I'm very happy with my purchase. I would recommend these and other Llbean products to my friends.

I looked everywhere for the perfect pair of slippers/house shoes. These are beautiful leather exterior with a warm shearling-lined interior. I'm a woman with average sized feet, and would have ordered a 6.5 if they carried it, but I'm glad they don't. The 7 is perfect. I don't like my house shoes to be tight. I've had them for about 6 months now, and they've only gotten better over time. They leather has formed to the shape of my foot. They are SO comfortable. They sole is gentle enough to wear around the house but sturdy enough to take out the trash, get the mail, etc. They aren't feminine shoes, I just wanted something a little better quality, and a littler classier looking than most women's shoes tend to be.

I go through three pair a year wearing them all day around the house. They are good for my neuropathy until the sheep wool wears out, then I replace them. The laces don't stay tied so I lock the bow knot with glue. I've been buying these for many years without needing to send any back. I worry that L.L. Bean will discontinue them without warning like they did with the leather shoulder bags I bought every year.

This is the second pair of these slippers I have purchased for my husband. He wore the first pair for years. The slippers are still in excellent condition and have held up extremely well. He mentioned to me that the shearling lining had compacted from long term wear and weren't as warm as they had been. This is to be expected after many years of wear. I purchased another pair for him and he was delighted. I highly recommend these slippers!

So, I looked at the other slippers here, and decided that I really wanted a "slipper" (leather) sole, not a rubber glued-on sole. This limited me to exactly this model. They fit a little tight, in that I usually can wear a 13 with socks, and these fit nicely snug without socks and tight with socks. But, who wears socks with slippers?
They appear to be built like a soft, supple tank and I expect to get many years' use from them.

Ordered 1/2 size larger and it fits perfectly. This is exactly the slipper I have been looking for.

I got my first pair of these back in 2008 and it took about 8 years of constant use, inside and outside to exhaust them . After a two year hiatus I pulled the trigger on a replacement pair. They appear identical cosmetically albeit the leather feels much stiffer. The old pair were sold as 'Double sole buffalo leather slippers'. There is no 'buffalo' in the item description of and now way to know the leather type they're now made of. Construction material notwithstanding, the slippers are extremely comfortable and cozy. I fit between a 9.5 and 10 and the size 10 I received felt a bit snug at first. The caveat here is I wear mine with socks (bare feet sweat otherwise) which may account for the tight fit. They've loosened some as the shearling lining has packed out. A word of caution; while the soles are very much outdoor capable (running to the mailbox, taking out the garbage, short dog walks around the block) they are EXTREMELY slick when walking on any surface even remotely slippery (think snow, ice, wet grass or damp tile in your bathroom after a particularly steamy shower). That said, they are still the most comfortable house shoes one can get and should provide years of enjoyment and use.

After going through various slippers that didn't hold up, I finally got a pair that will last. Great construction and attention to detail. They fit great and I know they will last me well into the future.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas - his second pair. He literally loved his first pair to death! After a few years of CONSTANT wear, they developed a hole in the heel, but he still wears them. He was happy to get a new pair though. A word of caution, until the soles are a little scuffed up they can be slippery. They are a little pricey, but definitely high quality!

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son who asked for "some really nice slippers." They did not disappoint! He loves them. He wears a size 10.5 so I sized up and that worked well. He has a narrow foot, so I was concerned they would be too wide, but they fit well width-wise also.

I love these slippers. My wife gets me a new pair for Christmas every two or three years or so. They are the best available and are always so comfortable. Price point is nearing the top of reasonable but we still love them.

Third pair for my husband not sure how many years. He wears them out because he lives in them at home. Loves them. Easy Christmas present when I see them wearing out.

These slippers rank right up there with the original Bean Hunting Boot as a product that defines the retailer. You can't beat these things. Quality-made, lasting and comfortable performance is what you get. The warm pile lining provides a welcomed warmth on cold floors when you've shed your socks. They are also comfortable in warmer times.
Note that, like the uppers, the soles are slick leather, not weatherized with a traction coating. These are HOUSE shoes and not conducive to wearing outdoors. That's a good thing. Many slippers are ruined by wearers taking them outside and exposing them to the elements. These certainly can be worn for quick outdoor errands (I've certainly worn mine outside to get my phone out of the car or to put the garbage out) but they don't encourage that and I am glad. Otherwise, they'd be muddied up and dirty just like my other shoes.
Buy them. Try them. I've been ordering them for almost 30 years now.

Ordered a size smaller than my size (11 instead of 12), as slippers can run large. Leather adjusts and stretches to my size and is warm, comfortable, and quiet to wear around the house with the leather soles.

Slippers looked and felt great, but did not fit. Way too narrow for a D width so they were returned.. If they make them in a wide then I would buy.
