I've been wearing mine for two and a half years now. Any time I'm home, and it's too cold for sandals, these are on my feet. I've cooked in them, cleaned in them, worn them outside to take out the trashin other words, I haven't babied these slippers one bit. Doesn't matter, they still look and feel great. The leather sole shows a few signs of wear and tear, but overall has held up far better than the rubber in the standard Wicked Good slippers (which dried out and separated from the slipper after a few years). The slipper itself shows no signs of developing holes or thinning. Even the shearling still looks good. Someday they're going to wear out, but there's no signs of that happening in the near future. These slippers are not cheap, but they're extremely well-made and built for the long haul.

This is my second pair. My previous pair of 10 years was starting to wear inside. See photos comparing. When I first put the new ones on, I thought they were too small and ready to send back. After reviewing comments about being tight when new and to give them time to compress, they are perfect after a week or so. So if you receive then and they fill tight, be patient. I am very glad I did. They are perfect for wearing around the house in our pandemic comfy clothes and look great,

I've had mine for almost 5 years. I wear them all the time. Still very comfortable and in good shape, but I'll be purchasing my second pair soon as the bottom are now wearing thin in places. These are worth every penny spent if you enjoy comfort without sacrificing style.

This is my second pair. My first pair, after about 5 years, was thrown out by my wife due to holes due to my mistakenly wearing them outside. They are sooo comfortable & actually smart looking - I sometimes wear them when we have company for a nice dinner. Although I spent more than I would for slippers, I'm getting older so I've earned a little luxury.

This has met all expectations. The leather is great, the fit is perfect, and the shearling is warm and comfortable. I hope this last for many seasons!

Why don't you make these in smaller sizes for women? I believe that you once made a size 6 for men and that worked perfectly for me. These are really terrific and I'm sure women would purchase them too.

Just as I imagined. Leather, leather and more leather. And, the lining forms to your foot. Top drawer.

My last pair lasted me 6 years of evening use. I like to wear without socks. Sometimes wear outside but only on smooth surface's. Worth their weight in gold! I normally wear a 10.5-11 shoe. Order smaller would be highly recommended for they need to feel tight around your foot. They get looser after a few times being on your feet.

This will be the third pair of double soled slippers that I've purchased from LL Bean. This pair will not be worn around any work area or while painting is going on. Very comfortable right from the start. Great value for the money.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He says he likes them a lot, appreciates the workmanship. However, because slippers never come in half sizes, whereas his shoes would be 10.5, the slippers are a bit large.

I love the way these feel. I am normally a 7 men's (even though a woman) and these take a few days to stretch out. But, once they do they fit very well.

No compromise between comfort and style. The best I've ever owned.

I had previously bought a pair of Rockport suede slippers with rubber sole and suede upper body with man made lining. Not purchased from LL Bean. Knew the Rockport name and thought they would be good. They weren't. The rubber sole detached from the suede upper. The man made lining started shedding almost immediately and quickly developed a foul odor. These leather outer and natural fur lining look great and smell even better. Construction appears to be first rate. I hope to have these for a long time. They naturally cost more than the aforementioned cheap junk and once again prove that "you get what you pay for."

Got these for my boyfriend during quarantine as an anniversary gift, and he has not taken them off yet. If you know you size in vans, they will fit true to that size.

Well made,Comfortable, Easy on Easy off. Just what I wanted. They look good too. I ordered them 1/2 size larger than regular shoes.

I have had these slippers for years, both lined and unlined. They are tight initially, but break in easily and are very comfortable.

I've never been a slipper guy until now. Now I can't wait to wear them. I've looked at these double-soled slippers for years. So glad I finally bought a pair.

This is my second pair of Double Sole Slippers, Shearling lined. After many years I wore a hole in the first pair. Fit great. Comfortable to wear and keep your feet warm.

I got these as a gift for my dad. He is very impressed with the workmanship in these slippers. He wears them indoors and out.

These shoes are great. They are well made and last. They are comfortable first time wearing.

Ordered this as a replacement for an older pair of moccasins that finally bit the dust. The fit was great, the lining is cozy, and the leather is good quality. Only caveat: the soles are slippery at first but that's what the recipient wanted. It's hard to find slippers without a hard sole. These fit the bill perfectly and it didn't take long for the soles to lose the 'slippery-ness'.

I actually cannot remember when I purchased my first pair. Perhaps that is testimonial enough! Totally satisfied with the product.
