Bought 7 or 8 years ago.
Bottoms wore down and I paid a local shoe repair shop to re-sole.
Re-soles wore out and I ordered new vibram soles and contact cemt and re-soled them myself.
No kidding, these are the best slippers I ever owned.

I’ve been buying this slipper from LLBean for years. I had never seen it available thru another party. But finding it for nearly $50 less than the manufacturer has it listed was a pleasant surprise. By the time they arrived Zappos had changed their price so i didn’t get a second pair. These are perfect house shoes. Be advised, they have a very slippery sole so scuffing the bottoms a bit, or applying some masking tape strips is a good idea when they are brand new. I love these slippers.

I started wearing LL bean double soled slippers about 20 years ago when they were around $50 from Bean. I would get a pair each Christmas until the price shot up from $89 to $119. Now I wait till they go on sale or i find them by accident. Have NEVER seen them off of the LLBean site till this time, and the price they werd listed at was the same as 2015. So yeah I was freakishly thrilled till they arrived and were a size to large. After considering sending them back for a refund i finally called and asked if i could exchange them for what I had ordered- Lauren was amazing took care of everything leaving me just wanting to know her better than CSR/customer etiquette considers kosher. Did I mention she was amazing? Took care of the exchange and got me my new pair within 2 days- she is a rare gem, you need to hang on to her customer service people generally upset me and I loose my temper- i dont think i stopped smiling with Lauren. Her attitude is infectious ( maybe put her in a room with all your other csr’s and see if they can catch her attitude? So Lauren aside, the shoes did arrive and they are exactly what I ordered and are perfect. I can finally retire my old worn out ragged pair. Thank you Zappos.

I have bought these for 30+ years and use them as my slippers. Great for indoors and outdoors. I do wish they made them for women as I have to buy the smallest men's size; the fit is pretty good as they mold to your feet.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair. Each pair lasts me about 10 years (Yes, I've been around the block a few times). These slippers are comfortable right out the box. I like the soft sole, which is perfect for indoor wear. Bean's superior quality is the same as when I first purchased this slipper many, many years ago. There is nothing comparable that I know of, and certainly not such a good value. I highly recommend these slippers to men who want comfort and a long lasting slipper.

My husband really likes these slippers. I bought him a pair around 3 years ago(probably longer) and for Christmas I bought him a new pair. he is very hard on any type of shoe. And these really lasted. Well made and long lasting. All he does is scuff the soles alittle bit and he is good. They are true to size. Recommended item.

These ARE the best slippers on the market, bar none. Why won't you bring them back as an option for women? Make them a special order, limited time availability, price up to get them ... or just make two sizes smaller for men ... buying anything else feels like wasted effort.

Very well made, heavy leather. Reviews run theses down due to slick bottoms, just wear them a few days and no problem. I would definitely buy again and recommend these to anyone.

This was the first thing I bought with my first paycheck as a teen. Now, almost 50 years later, having worn holes in my second pair, I bought my third pair, and they are as comfortable as the others. They are still made with quality. I may not last another 50 years, but these just might.

Very functional for inside use. The slipper is comfortable, warm and once broken in, is not slippery. Very happy with its performance.
I wish LL Bean would make a similar slipper for outside use. A slipper that could be used to get the mail, take the garbage out, and a dash to the garden.

I didn't know anyone made these anymore. I got a pair more than 2 decades ago. I like the feel of being barefoot, but sometimes it's not advisable. I wear them in the rain, on the beach, in the garden, around the campfire. One of the laces broke recently, but they still mold to my foot. The BEST!

The slippers I first received were marked 9D. They were so large on my feet I called Customer Service.
I could not be more pleased with the courtesy. the first pair was returned and exchanged for 8D. The last pair has expanded and they are excellent. Wonderful product. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with my purchase. I had read a review that said they run big, but after ordering the wrong size and reordering a size larger I am very happy with the fit. I feel they run true to size. Zappos made it very easy to get a return my item and get the new size. Thanks
