My first pair lasted 10 years until I finally wore through the soles under the big toes. I just received my 2nd pair and they fit perfectly. LL Bean, thanks for keeping so many of your quality products around.

I have a pair on right now that are at least 10 years old. Loved them the day they arrived and even more now. They are still like new, and I'm not easy on them. Don't let the price throw you, and the leather soles are in perfect condition. Highly suggest.

I had a pair of these when I was in college and lived in them. And it was really nice to see that they are still quality and well made. They are squeaky and slippery to start - and will break in like a glove - but you need to spend the time to get them there. Its worth it. Really excellent shoe if you get what it is that they are.

I've had a pair of these moccasin slippers for years. I wear mine both indoors and outdoors (provided it isn't wet outside), as house slippers and as casual shoes. In addition to wearing them around home, I've worn my pair to work, out for the evening, while shopping, traveling, etc. - basically for everything. I've found them to be very tough and durable, yet comfortable and flexible after an initial break-in period. (The leather is a bit stiff when new.) These slippers are very versatile and can serve equally well as casual shoes, I live in soft sole moccasins of all types, and since I consider this pair to be more formal looking than most of my other pairs, I wear them frequently when I go out on the weekends. The only thing you have to be aware of with these slippers is that the smooth leather soles can be very slippery on some surfaces, especially on rugs and carpets, so you need to watch your step sometimes. Otherwise, they're great, and they wear very well over time. The soles on my pair are scuffed from years of wear, but there are no holes in them and no tears in the stitching, either. Another plus is that the soles are fairly thick, so you don't feel every stone you might step on outdoors. So, I highly recommend these slippers, especially for people like me who don't want to be restricted to wearing their soft sole footwear indoors.

I think these were my 6 th pair. Started wearing them in the 70s as a street shoe. They are beautifully designed and crafted.

My husband and I both love the double-soled moccasins from L.L.Bean. Sturdy, comfortable, and oh-so useful, all around the house, they allow for an occasional outdoor errand.

Very well made and will last a long time as LL Bean's products usually do. Thick leather that didn't need a bunch of break in time. Comfortable right away.

This is my third pair of these slippers, but they are durable. I've worn and replaced them over the last 25 years. I'll be back. Do not discontinue these leather-lined slippers.

I got these for my husband for Christmas because he can no longer walk barefoot in the house. These are perfect and he says they are so comfortable. They are forming to fit his feet and he just loves them. So glad I got them. They are super high quality also. Great purchase!

My husband loves these slippers. When his last pair was falling apart after many years, he put duck tape around them so he could continue to wear them. He is getting a new pair for Valentine's Day.

I get these slippers and wear them until I wear them out - that takes a long time - years! Then my wife gets me another pair!! I keep the old ones to wear out back around the yard with the dogs. At this point i wear them until the soles have big holes on the first layer. They're great!! We got our middle son a pair this Christmas and I'm sure his will wear forever too!

I wear these in the house only. They will last for years and years. Comfortable snug fit conforms to your foot like a moccasin should. I put them on and never think about them again until I take them off, the best compliment you can make for a shoe. Quality leather and construction. My second pair. Recommend order smaller than your usual shoe size.

I bought these as a gift for my husband who is very picky about shoes. He won't wear slippers so I thought these would be a great "house shoe" for him. They are well made, comfortable and are a great classic style. I ordered a size 10 which can sometimes be a little too big for him in other shoes, but these fit him fine. He's been wearing them with and without socks.

Great slipper This is probably the fourth or fifth pair of these slippers I have purchased in the last 15 to 20 years. I wear them every day and they last about 5 to 6 years. Very comfortable and extremely durable. I would highly recommend them.

Needed slippers, good fit, attractive, well made , price ok for high quality

This is my second pair. Wore them every day for over two years. They always look good and feel great. I chose a half size larger than normal shoes as they don't need to be so fitted to wear around the house. I will definitely buy again if they wear out.

Bought this moccasin over 30 years ago! Couldn't remember where I got them though. Bought several 'sturdy, double sole' moccasins but they were house shoes (soft and flimsy but comfortable). I needed shoes that could hold up when I went outsidetake the trash, turn on sprinkler, etc. on a whine went to LLB and found them! Short story long is to expect these shoes to last 30 years! Suggestion: if you're a half size, go up but consider that you may, may need a size down.

Worn daily, year in and year out, even these sturdy mocs eventually wear out, so I "surprised" and delighted my husband with a new pair for his birthday.

I have been wearing these shoes for over 40 years and love them , this is probably my eighth or ninth pair . but these run a little narrow, anyway still a great shoe.

My husband had a pair of these slippers that he wore for many, many years until holes eventually wore in the bottoms. He wanted another pair to replace them because he liked them so much.

They were the most beautiful moccasins I'd ever seen right out of the box. They were no problem breaking in. However, for the price they are asking, the moccasins should come in wide widths and half sizes.
