I do love my Bean boots! The reason for only 4 stars is I believe you could make an improvement. The zipper doesn't quite zip all the way up, so it would be nice to have a strap with a belt buckle at the top to hold the boot closed. The boots do keep my feet warm and dry. For size reference--I am normally a 6-1/2, went down a size to a 6, and there is still room for medium to heavy-weight socks.

These boots are very warm and comfy but run REALLY big! I wear a 10 and could've went with a 9.5 easy and still may have been too big! All in all I love them and wear multiple socks

I love these boots! They're easy to take on and off, and they're really comfortable, even after wearing them all day working in the yard. I highly recommend them! The sizing advice is accurate, too.

Custom made but insole was 1/4 inch short of the bottom of the shoe so my toes extended over the insole. Unfortunately it was uncomfortable and couldn't keep. Very cute style and I'm sure warm

These are my new garden and chicken coop boots . The fit is nice and snug when wearing a thick sock . The selling point for me was the ease of putting them on and taking them off . The price was a little more than I wanted to pay but well worth the investment.

Great boots but I tried 2 pairs and both were too large. Could have used a half size smaller. No half's. Maybe next year.

This is really a great womens boot, the inside of the boot does not hold up.

The looseness/stiffness around ankle area was uncomfortable for me. The boot was gorgeous but sadly needed to return.

These were great but I had to return them because they weren't wide enough and there is no wide width available

I like the boot, but wish it could fit a bit more snug about the ankle lower leg part. I guess if it were a boot with laces then I would have that solved. I did, however choose a zip up for the convenience. The fit is roomy and it came with inserts and I can add another or wear 2 pair sox and remedy this.

The boots are easy to put on. They are warm. The boot top opening is wide so at times snow/ice have gotten in.

Gift for my daughter. I have had a pair of these for over 10 years and she said she would like a pair to keep her feet warm and dry.

Nice boots. Everything i expectrd. No 10 1/2 size available so ordered 11. Little big but heavy pair of socks makes them work for me.

Great boot for everyday hiking and errands, my previous pair had the fleece lining that pulled inside out when you took them off, nice remake.

Pros: The boots feel very soft inside. I believe the boots will be nice and warm. I like that the boot has blue on it. Cons: Runs small when ordering, make sure to size down one. I wear size 7 and in Bean Boots ordered a 6. The upper layer boot doesn't appear to be waterproof. I'm giving 4 stars because LLBean could have done better with the material of the boots. I also ordered the brown boots just like these. The material of the brown seems to be more waterproof. Although the blue boots felt softer inside than the brown boots. I wish the boots were slide on with no zippers.

Very easy to put on and great to put on to take the dog for a morning walk on wet days. Run big. I usually wear a 7 but had to return and get a 6. Even with heavy ski socks the 6 fit fine. With thinner socks I can feel the seam between the rubber and leather rubbing above my heal. Suspect I would get a blister if I wore them very long.

I bought per suggested a size smaller and they were still at least a size too big! Disappointed

The soft interior in the shoe is much better than other Bean boots. That said it is still not throughout the entire boot lining. This means that the interior seams can rub uncomfortably on your feet at times. I kept these because I was in need of new rain boots and found them to be the best of the options available. The zip up closure is very convenient.

Very comfy and cozy and stay dry! Easy on and off and I can actually walk a few miles in them comfortably. I did get one whole size down as recommended and the fit was good.

Well made boots although I ended up sending them back. The area around the ankle was too wide and looked awkward on me. I wished they would have fit a little tighter.

This shoe is a great idea for those who want or need a show without laces, but the large fit made it hard to guage and it's expensive to pay to try on shoes when ordering by mail. In the end, the boots just didn't have a great look for some reason, nor were they extremely comfortable, so I didn't bother to find a suitable size.

Along with the chelsea bean boot, these are too loose in the heel and not tight enough around ankle. They end up slipping off, feeling floppy, and are only inviting for inevitable blisters you may get. I own several pair of tie-on Bean Boots and my gore-tex insulated pair from 2017 are superior. However, I'm disappointed because I was interested in a different, slip-on style. NOTE: All Bean Boots run a size large so no, it's not a sizing issue.
