I needed lace up winter boots and after waiting too long last year - I was able to get these in a size 11! I have a wide foot and was concerned they would be narrow but these fit perfectly. Thankfully I haven't had to wear them yet in the northeast but I am prepared when I do need them! They also look fantastic! (which was a bonus).

Love the fit, style and warmth. Would be five stars except that the finish is wearing off where my snowshoe straps hit. I asked about that when I purchased and was told snowshoes wouldn't be a problem. However I won't return them because I still really like them. Pic is after about 15 snowshoe outings.

Originally got a size 9 for the wifey and they were too big, 8 fits nicely and she usually wears an 8-8.5. She says they are comfortable but a little narrow. Not super impressed with the warmth, but are warm. Traction is good in the snow. Thuper cute to wear in the snow, run to the store, or a muddy tailgate at PSU!

So beautiful and warm! Initially I wasn't sure what size to get and past reviews are all over the place. So I listened to the 'Product Description' recommending half sizes go down and boy was that a mistake! With and without medium weight ragg wool socks the boot is tight.

So sad that they run a little small. I have other LL Bean boots in a size 11 that fit great, even with room for thicker socks. These were too tight even with thin socks, and they don't come in 11 1/2 or 12, so they won't work for me

Cute boots and great for wet weather. Unfortunately I bought them for the snow and my toes were freezing. They are just not warm enough, probably because the toe isn't lined.

Love the LOOKS of these boots, but they are not comfortable. Wish they had some sort of insert for support.

The boots seem large and not very warm. And one heel has a hole in it after 3 winters of relatively mild use, as I usually am wearing my snow sneakers and only wear these when I want more water resistance.

Lovely boots but I could barely get my feet into these boots (7M) without any socks. They are really narrow- length is perfect. Also I don't think LLBean is using the return paperwork to do exchanges or send a different size. I requested a different winter boot in a wide size (same price) on the paperwork I returned with too narrow Rangeley Pac Boots (which the paperwork said to do) but I never heard anything from LL Bean other that they had received and processed the return. So maybe exchanges need to be done on line as a new order. Very beautiful boot - and great for narrow feet!

I wanted to love these boots and I tried desperately to love them. They are very attractive and kept my feet warm all through Vermont winter. I had no issues with snow while playing with my kids which was great! However, the boot is so narrow that I had a very difficult time putting them on even with the laces as loose as I could get them. This eventually caused the heel backing to get crushed which is a death sentence for any shoe or boot. I do have a wide foot, but even my sister who does not have a wide foot had an issue pulling the boot on.

I really liked the boots, but they were just too wide. I have a very narrow foot and tried them with thick winter socks. Sometimes this works, but not with this boot.

Super cute, too narrow and I don't have wide feet. I could tell when I opened the box how extra narrow they were. Was sad to send them back!

These boots are true to size, I normally wear a size 10 in Brooks and Keen, so I ordered a 10 in these in the brown color. Sadly, they have ZERO arch support. I tried both Superfeet and Sole brand insoles inside and they still don't feel right. It causes pronation which is very uncomfortable. I've never returned a shoe I've worn outside but I think these will have to go back if possible. They just hurt my feet. The soft upper is very nice, they feel great around my lower leg and give freedom of movement you don't normally get in boots. I sure wish these would have worked out for me!

I really like these boots are far as look and fit. They are waterproof but the inside isn't too warm, toes get really cold!

I learned the hard way,: if one wears a half size, the whole sizes will not fit. Socks will not make a size 10 into a size 9 1/2. I gave this boot three stars because it is so good looking.

nicely made boots, but would advocate for half sizes.....desperately needed as well as a some arch support. Otherwise, great looking and a good value...

These boots are my first LL Bean boot purchase. Im typically an 8.5, but sized up to compensate for winter socks. I've worn these just about daily for the past two months, and while they are warm, they might be too warm?! I cannot tell if my feet feel wet while wearing them because of sweaty socks, or if the wetness from the snow is seeping in. I've had to start carrying around extra socks to change out if my feet get too clammy. I like them, but would not get another pair or recommend them.

I bought this item 3 weeks ago and they are not waterproof or warm. Moisture comes I to my boots along with tiny pebbles of sand or dirt.

Appear to be nice boots, but a 9 was too small and a 10 too big. Half sizes would be nice.

I'm generally an 8 1/2 and purchased and 8 based on the size chart recommendation. I couldn't even fit on my foot. Much much too small. I'm hoping a 9 will fit because I do like the boot

Too snug in toe box and too loose in the heal. I should have gotten a size bigger than my usual size but These may be for women who work outside in the bitter cold.

These run HUGE! I normally wear a 9-9 1/2 and ordered a 9. They are too big. It took so long to get them in the mail that I don't even want to bother returning them. They are also very hard to take on and off. The sole is always coming out and bunching up. I would not recommend buying them.

Really wanted to love these. They run small and narrow. Also wish they would come in half sizes as I feel ordering up a whole size wouldn't help with the narrow issue. Also the toe part seems like cheap plastic vs rubber.
