The ankle is so tight I couldn't get my foot in it.

Opening was too small for my daughter to get her foot into the slipper. Returned and purchased the Mountain Slipper Boot Moc instead which was perfect.

The elastic around the ankles has no give which is surprising since it's supposed to be stretchy. It's very difficult to get the foot into the slipper. I ended up returning them.

These booties are so binding around the ankle that they shove your foot far into the toe, and fitting very tight. I returned them for the slides, and they were worse! So tight I couldn't get my foot all the way in! Disappointed in LLBean, it used to be so reliable.

The heels of the slipper curve much more inward than my original pair. Very uncomfortable. I should have sent them back right away. Now I m wearing them like a clog.

When I tried to put the slippers on, I couldn't get my foot through the very small, tight opening. The sole was entirely different than the picture and was so stiff it would be hard to walk. I am returning them. I have noticed that the quality of LL Bean's products is not the same as it used to be and that makes me sad.

They run small and you cannot wear socks with them.

These look so cozy online. Such a disappointment. There is an uncomfortable tag on the inside where it scrunches on your ankle that scratches against your foot, and they are SO hard and clunky I feel like I could take up clogging classes in them. To top off the horribleness of the slipper they make you pay a restocking fee to return them! Buyer beware that you cannot try anything from this store unless you are willing to pay for a restocking fee, even if it doesn't fit or you are dissatisfied with your purchase. I wont be purchasing from this company again. Too bad, the $300+ in other products I purchased, I was happy with.

I have found more comfortable slippers in discount department stores!! I didn't have a problem putting them on or taking them off. They're a good fit, a bit snug but it's a comfortable snug. It kind of feels like the slipper is hugging your foot. The lining is even soft. But that's it folks! The insole is as hard as a rock!! I like the hard soles on the outside but, for the price of these slippers, I expect complete comfort on the inside! Even the fleece looks cheap! I bought these last year and I have only worn them twice! I will be buying insoles, NOT from LL Bean, with hopes of making them tolerable to wear. I've read the many positive reviews about these slippers and that only makes me wonder if mine are defective. I didn't return them because they weren't worth the extra money for shipping fees. I must add that I am very happy with my other 3 pairs of Wicked Good Slippers! I have ordered many items from LL Bean and, for the most part, I have always been happy. So I will continue to be a loyal LL Bean customer.

I was looking forward to these slippers. I usually wear a 6.5 shoe, and ordered a 7. The length and width of the slipper bottom itself was OK (although a little on the wide side for me - probably OK with socks on) but when I tried to get them on, the elastic in the ankle portion was so tight and inflexible that it took me at least a minute of pulling and tugging to get one slipper on. Then I put the other on - same problem. The elastic was so tight as to be verging on painful. Very strange. I will return them. Seeing other positive reviews, maybe it's me.

There's no support in these slippers. They are like walking on bricks. They will be sent back.

There is nothing cozy about these slippers. I couldn't wait to get them on my feet- they looked so soft and cushy on the website. But, there is a hard sole on the bottom and they feel just like you're wearing a pair of shoes. I do not need to wear my slippers outdoors and do not want a hard sole. Back they go!!

When I ordered two pairs of these slippers (for my daughter & myself) I was expecting cozy, comfortable & easy to put on. What I got was combat boots! The fleece is not Bean's normal fleece but like synthetic. It takes some pulling & tugging to get it them on & certainly not cozy & comfortable. Rather than shuffling in slippers, it's like marching. First time being completely disappointed in LL Bean's goods. They got returned.

My wife has small feet and always buys size 6. The slippers were so small that she could NOT get them on! They are being returned! Very disappointed!

These were like platform shoes and looked ridiculous, like something my son would wear on halloween dressed as a monster.

Why synthetic fibers? And for a price point of $60? Really disappointed in material choice.

My wife and I needed new slippers. Mine fit well, but her slipper the one shown here didn't fit. In fact she wasn't able to get the slipper over her foot as the opening was too small. This is a very poor design for a slipper. It looks really good, but she complained that it not only wouldn't let her foot get inside the slipper as the opening in it was too small, but that the construction itself was poor. I will keep my slipper as I like it, but her slipper is going back/

I wanted to love these, but the elastic left marks on the tops of my feet. They were painful to wear and not what I usually expect from LL Bean. I hope they will redesign, because otherwise they were so cozy.

I did not know fleece could melt. Had these slippers near my space heater and they actually melted. Called customer service and was told that I probably could not return them because it was my fault. I have been using LL Bean products since I was a child and I am 65. I never returned anything. I will not be purchasing anything more from this company.

I'm sorry to say that for nearly the same price as the leather/sherpa slippers I have bought for years, these little booties are a no go. I expected to like the ankle coverage but the elastic was a bit too tight for comfort. I have flat feet and I slithered through the tight ankle opening (to my surprise). Many people might not be able to fit their feet in that tight opening. The outer sole was fine and there was nice arch support BUT the fabric is dreadful. The outside fabric is very rough and will attract lint (the brown will show every bit). I might have kept them despite those issues except for the insole problem. The fleece lining inside is rough and lumpy underfoot. Simply pulling the slipper on, not even standing in them, it was obvious I could not wear them. I do have tender feet, never go barefoot, can't even enjoy a salt rub pedicure. Perhaps wearing a thick sock inside the slipper would make it more comfortable but I'm already at size ten and would like not to wear 11's! LOL I shall return these and go back to the usual style that has served me well for ten years or more. My pictures attempt to show the toughness of both exterior fabric and lining.
