I wear a 8 or 8 1/2 so ordered a size 9 even though I've never worn a 9 in any shoe or boot. Way too small so I returned them for a 10. Still very small but I liked them so thought I'd wear them without socks, The tag inside the left slipper scratches my foot and there's too much stitching in an awkward place to take out. So, mixed review. I did expect more from LLBean especially in sizing. I thought if anything they'd be more generous in size but it's the opposite.

Top is comfy but the sole us very stiff. I was hoping for more of a cozy house slipper.

They are a little tight across the elastic and they are put together differently. One trim sets higher than other around the bottom.

They are Beautiful slippers but they were too heavy, the soles are bulky, kind of like wearing boots in the house. I returned them.

Initially VERY tight, painfully so, around the ankles--and I have boney ankles. Took about a week of intermittent wearing to break in. They're very cozy, but the back elastic around the Achilles is still rather snug. Because of the bootie/elastic construction, my foot is forced to the front of the slipper, so I feel like I'm constantly tapping my heels on the ground to get my foot farther back (this is because going downstairs can be a little scary when you catch the back of your slipper on a step). I like the coziness and love the foot beds--incredibly supportive. Overall, a bit of a let-down, though.

I have had these slippers since last winter. They are so comfortable and cozy, but make my feet sweat and stink. I am disappointed because they keep my feet very warm and are easy to slip on and off.

I actually love them but they are so tight on the top of my foot that I actually got bruised. I plan on wearing them a little bit every day when the cooler air comes to stretch them.

Fleece lining good for extra-cold winter, but feels clammy unless I wear socks. Sole is a bit clunky and stuff, which I hope will loosen up after a breaking-in time. Not sure yet if I'd order another pair.

Loved the color and very soft with a sturdy sole. Ultimately I had to exchange these for a different style because they were very tight around my ankles and hurt to wear it. I have small ankles so I'm not sure if this was a defect or not. Would have kept them otherwise

Size up at least one size- use shoehorn to get foot in- like a slipper/shoe- warm and toasty

Not true to size. I'm a size 7 and this slipper was too short. The size 8 was way too big. Also the slippers are big in appearance. They made my feet look like laughingly huge! The slippers are well made though.

Insole not comfortable. Not soft. Size was true and all else fine.

I bought these slippers because I wanted something that would keep my ankles warm. My feet tend to swelter in leather slippers. These are lovely but a shoe horn or a strong index finger is needed to get them on. They also have zero arch support. Once they're on they are very nice and comfy. Because of no arch support I would not wear them for long periods of time.

Elastic around ankle can be uncomfortable at times....helps to keep slipper on , but my pair the elastic on the left foot is different than the right it seems like it was sewn lower on the ankle than the other. I fam glad I bought the next size up otherwise I would have trouble getting it on. I am a. 6.5 and I bought a 7.

The elastic around top of slipper is very tight and the slipper is true to size Great quality would have ordered next size up

These didn't work for me. The upper was soft and loose, but the sole was hefty and somewhat stiff, so they felt awkward. Might work for others!

Were warm at first but then they failed me, I sent them to my daughter.

I wear a 8.5 shoe and ordered a size 9 in these slippers. Unfortunately, still too small if I have socks on. Great looking, but will be returning.

The opening to put your foot into the slippers is small. I bought it for my Mom and she doesn't have terribly large feet, but she could not get her feet into the slippers

This was a Xmas gift I gave to my daughter but the slippers run small & did not fit her. They are a little tight on me too but I do not like returning items I purchase online. Hopefully I will find someone that wears smaller then a size eight. The slippers are nice though so order one size bigger.

Had to return do to size ran small. Waiting on the exchange now, hope it comes SOON

Fleece is nice but fit is tight to slip foot. Would be better if there was stretch/ elastic to slip foot in. I am average. Get bigger size if you don't have a skinny foot! Otherwise like how they are made, sole is solid.

I misunderstood the description and didn't realize the slipper had a raised heel. I suppose that is what's meant by "wedged midsole". In the photo it doesn't look like there's a raised heel. I wear zero drop shoes, or am just barefoot so the raised heel felt weird. Otherwise, the slipper seemed okay, but I didn't have them on for more than a minute. They were returned.

These were extremely warm and cozy. However I had to give it a 3 star since for me they were too tight around my ankles. Sadly, I had to return them.

These looked so snuggly and inviting. However, they were extremely difficult to put on, and the elastic around the ankle (which I think was completely unnecessary) was industrial grade and an inch wide, that had a death grip on my ankle. I tried wearing them for a bit around the house, but couldn't take the grip on my ankle, so I returned them.
