I was tired of tying boots and wanted something that could be easily slipped on and these fit the ticket. I normally order a size 9 in shoes, but based on customers suggestions to order a 1/2 size down, I ordered an 8 1/2. They fit the way I like them- room to move and flex my toes and wear thicker socks in cooler weather. I find them to be stylish and am very pleased with them. I would order them again in a heartbeat.

The shoes are 1/2 to a full size too large for me and I'm typically a 7.5M, can sometimes even wear a wide. They are waterproof, sturdy and comfortable to wear except for my foot sliding around in them. The tread feels secure even when wet.

Love the quality look and feel of this boot but I usually order a 9med. so I can fit a special prescription shoe insole in boot but even after special insole was placed the they were still too large and loose.

I like these slip ons, but they are slightly loose, so I need to wear thick socks with them. That's ok since they are for snowy or wet weather, but I wish they were a little more true to size. Also, they actually seem a bit slippery on a wet street, possibly an oily surface, but I expected more grip and less slip.

Unfortunately I returned them as they were overall too large and even with my heavy winter socks my feet just did not want to stay in place. I had returned another pair of one size up for the same reason. Someone with a wider foot might have found them perfect. The quality of the these was just what I wanted otherwise.

After reading all of the other reviews, I purchased a pair of these boots 1/2 size smaller than my regular walking shoes. The length is great, but the heel of the boot is a bit wide for my foot and there is some upward slippage of my heel while walking. I love the convenience of these slip-ons, so I plan to keep them. They are waterproof, warm, and comfortable over-all. With heavy socks, it is difficult to get the boots on, so I suggest mid-weight socks. With use and break-in, I'm hoping my heels will not slip.

Appears to be a well made Welly, but the heel was too wide

Opening is too high and large. This is a "Slip-Off" Storm Chaser, unfortunately, even with thick socks.

The Storm Chaser 5 shoe is nice looking and well constructed. I have a wider foot and was delighted to find this shoe available in a wide width. I ordered my regular 8.5W size and found the length to be good with an ample toe box. Unfortunately, the shoe slipped in the heel uncomfortably, and so I returned it with regrets.

Tried them on in the store and they seemed fine. However, too difficult to get on again at home. Too stiff.

Things I like about it - The shoe is nice looking with good traction on the sole. The rubber portion protects your feet from water and mud but keep in mind it is not waterproof where the rubber section meets the leather upper nor in the leather upper. Things I don't like - the shoe runs large. I normally wear an 8.5 but had to return these for an 8 and while they are snug in the front, they still slide somewhat in the back. But I think a 7.5 would be too small. They are heavy - they feel like blocks on your feet, especially if you are used to wearing light shoes. Lastly, they will take some time to break in as the first few times I've worn them, I had rub spots on my heels which if worn longer would have turned into blisters - so I put Band-Aids on before putting my socks and these shoes on.

Bought these to replace my old pair (in pic) which are around 15 years old and the heels are slightly frayed but I continue to wear them over my new storm chasers because they are so comfortable! I can still walk my dog 3-5 miles comfortably in them or quick slip on to go get the mail or rush off to work in wet or snowy weather. The supposed "slip ons" are definitely NOT slip ons! You need a shoe horn to put them on. Plus the stiffness in the heel causes blisters. Your so called clogs are not the same either. Please, please, please bring back the low heel slide ins for comfort and ease for us Labrador moms!

These shoes are monster size. I normally wear a women's size 8, and the 7.5 size shoes are still way too big.

Great winter shoe and once on it was comfortable. However, due to my high instep I need a shoehorn to put them on which is not practical for me. I have returned them.

I wanted to like these, but neither 8.5 or 9 worked for my narrow foot. The heel was too large and no matter the size sock, I could have walked right out of the shoe or walked awkwardly in them. I had to return both sizes. Sadly!

I purchased a size 10 like I normally wear in shoes. When I tried to wear this (with thick socks), it was too large and too wide for my size 10 foot. It was slipping off my heel and I knew that it would rub too much to keep.

The length was true to size but the heel slipped - it wasn't even close to snug. Had to send them back.

I like these shoes in principle, but I find if I walk very much in them, my Achilles tendon on one side starts to hurt. It seems like the heel support (inside) is low and could use a little more elevation or padding.

I ordered the Women's Storm Chaser 5 Slip-on in a size 9. This shoe is nice but, they feel very loose in the heel to the point they feel like they are going to come off. I wear a size 9 in every pair of shoes I own and other shoes like the Storm Chaser 5 Slip on. I wish manufacturers would make shoes/clothing true to size. I hate when the company states size runs larger or runs smaller. I notice other reviews state that the heel is loose.

The shoe is a good looking shoe. But the other reviews were correct in that the heel does slip. Not a good thing when one is walking long distances. I suggest to the shoe company to add a padding of some type around the inside top of the heel section. That might prevent heel slippage but still able to put on the shoe easily. Sadly I had to return the shoe.

love the shoe EXCEPT the liner bunches up very quickly and hard to keep in place and every time I put the shoe on the back folds under. Need to unfold it by trying to force finger between heel and shoe. Definite negatives as can not just slip on and go - always need to adjust both inner sole and back heel.

While they are well-made, the fit is not very good. In order to get a size that would fit over my instep, the heel is too wide and loose.

Very comfortable and warm at the start of wearing the new shoe. Worn about 6 times and after the lining and padding compressed they are too wide and slip and wobble with every step.
