Love these shoes!! I'm glad I chose the Saddle Burgundy because they're extra cute and I'm getting a lot of compliments on them. We had a No'easter the other day and I wore my storm chasers. That was the ultimate test as I walked through every puddle in the pouring rain and my feet stayed perfectly dry regardless of what I did. They're also extremely comfortable. I gave 4 stars only because they were 1 size larger and the reviews should have mentioned that they run big.

I hope these have improved in quality compared to my last pair, which eventually got a split along the bottom seam, allowing water from puddles to sneak in.

Love the look and was well made but sizing is too difficult so returned - cannot keep paying return shipping just to figure out my Bean size ...wish their sizing was like standard sizing. Too big and I ordered my normal size. Bummer.

I ordered size 9 and found them to be way too large all over. I traded them for size 8.5 which fit much better although still a little big. These are very sturdy shoes that I wear to work in the yard and garden. They are waterproof and up to the task of traipsing around on muddy days. They are not particularly good looking, but they are tough and function just fine.

I like the looks and feel of this shoe. It is sturdy. I think I should have gone 1/2 size smaller than my regular size.

It was billed as fitting like a sneakera bit of an overstatement. I have worn these rain shoes all day at work with no major complaints, but they're definitely not as comfortable as a sneaker. I did have a problem with my right Achilles' tendon getting rubbed raw in one spot.
The size is surprisingly generousI'm a solid 10 and sometimes even wear an 11, so I was surprised that my feet were sliding around a bit with lightweight socks. Even with heavy winter socks, there was still plenty of room. Love the style; very attractive-looking. Functionality is good; feet stayed warm and dry during heavy rains.
I'm happy enough with these to not return them but would probably not buy another pair. I have to wear a bandaid on my right heel every time, and my feet really slide around as noted when not wearing winter-weight socks.

I like the shoes but they run really big. I returned the first pair for 1/2 size smaller and I'm hoping they'll fit. Seems like they'll be comfortable too.

I wanted a durable slip-on for dog-walking, and this is it. Unfortunately, I wear a 10.5, never a 10, so had to order 11 because they all stop the half-sizes after 10. I put extra insoles in, and maybe with heavier socks they'll fit even a little better. The 11 is a little too large, BUT I would have to say that these have saved my bacon during this 2-week stretch of snow and freezing rain in Texas. In the meantime, they slip on easily, stay on, don't slide in the snow, and keep my feet completely dry and warm.

These shoes were advertised as fitting like a tennis shoe. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 medium width in tennis shoes. I got 81/2 in these and my feet were swimming in them with wool socks on. They might be fine with heavy rag wool socks, but I don't want to change socks to slip outside to get the mail or meet the UPS delivery. I exchanged them for size 8. My heel still slips around inside the shoes. I kept them, and will find them useful for quick trips outside, but I will not wear them for a walk in the woods or any distance.
The shoe quality is excellent and seems that they will last for years, even if you get a good fit and can wear them "like tennis shoes ".

I was excited to get my new Storm Chasers today since my old pair are almost completely worn out. I'm disappointed in the color. I ordered the toasted coconut/bean boot brown. The leather upper is a darker brown than what is shown in the picture online. There isn't near the contrast in color compared to the rest of the boot so they appear more bland than what I was expecting. I'll probably still keep them because they're great boots.

I ordered a new pair of storm chasers week one of January 2021 to replace a pair i had worn into the ground over the previous 5 years. They were delivered the following week. I heeded the caution of the reviewers in that the sizing was big. Typically i am a 7.5 M and go up to an 8 for LL Bean hiking boots and flip flops. So i stayed at 7.5 M for the storm chasers. They arrived on an inclement day here in the northeast and i was psyched to have them. I put them right on and took 3 steps across the kitchen floor and walked right out of them. Even with smart wool hiking socks on. All i could think of was 'clown shoes, this is hilarious' . So i packaged them up , returned them the next day for a full size smaller = 6.5, which i am also hoping will be less wide. The replacement pair is due here in March with backordering. And I still rate these a 4 as the quality and workmanship of the shoe was obvious. Plus my prior experience w the shoe in all weather types for dog walking, gardening, fall cleanups, fall beach walks, firewood stacking, errand running etc. make this a regular leave at the back door go to footwear choice. Just order a full size down until LL Bean gets their manufacturing partner re-calibrated on the specs :)

I love that the shoes are waterproof. For the most part comfortable(a little wide), with good thick socks they are great. I just feel they cost too much.

Very nice boot. Well made. Could not give a 5 star only because the boot is slightly too wide/big. I don't think I could have gone down a size though, not sure, but didn't want to bother going back and forth trying to change it. All in all the boot is comfortable and my foot is not cramped. Of course wearing a sock helps. I will not return. If you decide to purchase I would make sure you rethink the boot size.

Been looking at these for quite a time /. Finally took the plunge. /Overall I am pleased however I do find them a bit oversized. /. I have been wearing 8 1/2 , but lately shoes or boots have initially felt somewhat tight /. Stuck with 8 1/2 because it's definitely easier to compensate with heavier socks. /. (Really think 8 would have felt too tight) Anyway will probably only be wearing in cooler weather/. With heavier socks I'm all set. They were comfortable from the beginning/. Great for slushy or is bit of ice on the road/. Even though they do feel a bit heavy. I have not had any problem making walking difficult

I ordered a half size larger so I could wear thicker socks which I do with my walking shoes as well. This shoe runs larger than normal. I could have ordered my normal size and would have had room to spare.

This new style of Storm Chaser, although it looks great, does not fit true to size. I had to buy 1/2 size smaller than I ever have before. The boots are still too loose in the heels, and I will have to buy inserts to keep them from slipping.

I received my Storm Chasers yesterday and put them right on for the day. I was hoping that they would be roomy and they are. I had thick socks on and was able to wiggle my toes and feet, perfect, I can slip right into them. We have some cold rainy weather coming tomorrow and my feet will stay warm and dry. I have one tiny complaint. The right shoe is a little larger on the top part of the shoe than the left which makes it look a little funny, less shapely than the left, but once worn in it probably won't be that noticeable otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Love these, however, I would like to see a front/ top/zipper pull. Would make it much easier for an elderly lady like me!..

I'm very happy with the quality of these shoes. I did however find the first pair I received to be 1/2 size too big- they felt too roomy-could be that if you have a wide foot they would fit fine. I typically wear a 71/2, I needed to send them back in this shoe for a size 7, Very happy otherwise.

I am on my third pair and I think these are really good boots. I buy a pair every 2 years. They get worn a lot especially when it rains or snows when I am walking my dog. The one thing that I don't like about them is that they make your feet sweat, but after you wear them for some time the insides start to STINK really bad. Also I liked the new colors you came out with this year, but I don't like the color of the bottoms of the boots.

As mentioned in earlier reviews, these shoes run large. My size 7s are quite roomy but that makes them easier to slip on when I'm in a hurry so I won't complain. However, they are no where near as appealing as the clogs that used to offered.

Quality is nice. I'm wearing padded socks and still walking out of them. This is my second pair and ordered the same size as previous.

I ordered these in the navy and gray color in Women's sz 11, which is my usual shoe size. Even at that size, I don't always get the width I need in the toe box or the arch of the shoe is too far back toward the heel. These give me the length and width exactly where I need them, but would be too big overall without an extra inserted insole. With the insert, they fit well and are comfortable for walking. They are easily slipped on and off at the door without using my hands. They weigh more than my previous version and are less stylish (Boggs,) so I probably won't be inclined to wear them around the yard without socks or all summer long as I did my others. However, my hope is that these will last more than 1 season before they crack and leak. I gave them 4 stars because I don't know yet how long they will last. At this price, they should be good for several years. I LOVED my Boggs other than that they didn't last, so am still adjusting to these new boots.
