Storm chaser waterproof shoes used to have a heavier tread and tracked a lot of dirt in. These feel lighter and have a much neater tread, but still have plenty of traction. Removable insert if you need an orthotic. This is a really nice shoe and a big improvement over the clunkier early version. Great for walking through wet grass, it's sturdy and quite comfortable. I had three pairs of this shoe from 5-7 years ago, and they all inexplicably smelled like a cat box. This year's version does not have any offensive aromas. I will buy it again.

I've worn several pairs of Storm chasers through out my adult life. This new style is by FAR the best yet! Sizing is spot on, love the small rubber treads on the bottom and the color is fabulous. I wanted a boot that could be put on and taken off quickly while wearing socks in the winter and these Storm Chasers do not disappoint!! Will highly recommend. So far, I've been giving them a good workout doing chores around our farm and they're holding up.

I constantly find myself grabbing these shoes on my way out. So easy to slip on, comfortable, warm, and waterproof. I got the color Toasted Coconut/Bean Boot Brown and it pairs easily with countless of outfits! If you are on the fence about getting these.... GET THEM!

I purchased my 2nd pair of these. First pair was 12 years ago. 2 years ago, the rubber began to crack and I filled the cracks with Gorilla Glue and sealed them back up. This year I ordered a new pair. They're just as cozy and comfortable. Maybe in 12 more years I'll get to replace them again? I wanted something waterproof and easy to slip on, these were the answer!

I love these shoes. I wear a size 9 with a heel lift and Super Feet inserts in all my shoes so I like to size up for extra toe room and the 9.5 size was very comfortable for me with ample toe space. I would characterize my feet as regular maybe slightly narrow, with long toes. I have always purchased a medium width shoe. I had no problems getting my foot into the shoe, in fact it was easy for me. These shoes are easy to put on, my feet stayed put inside and they didn't slide around and they are super comfortable. I highly recommend for those of you that have the same type of foot as mine. I'm purchasing two more pair today.

I originally purchased a size 8 1/2 in these shoes and had to return them for a size 8. I've only worn them a couple times, one time for about 3 hours, and they are comfortable. Will need to wear some type of sock, not necessarily thick. Just remember they run large. My ratings are based on the original order. With the corrected size, the size and width are True to Size.

I have a very similar pair of these that I bought ages ago and I wanted to replace them. Although these are very well made, they have a bit thicker sole and are much stiffer. They also run larger, so regrettably I had to return them.

I had to order a half size down from my usual size but they fit beautifully and keep my feet warm and dry. I'm very happy with them and even look forward to the rain so I can wear them.

These are even better than the old Storm Chasers, which I have been wearing year round for many years. They are lighter weight and I can wear them all day when working outside in wet conditions with animals or in the garden. The sole isn't quite as rugged, but it still works well for me. Very comfortable shoes, and I like the updated style.

I have searched high and low for an easy slip-on shoe for dog walking in rainy Seattle. I finally found them in the Storm Chaser Slip-Ons. These are comfortable from the get go and keep my feet warm and dry. They are true to size, I'm a solid 8 and have sized up before in other shoes from LLBean, only to realize they are too big even with thick socks and had to exchange. No need to size up with these! I completely recommend these shoes!

I originally ordered a 7 1/2. This was way too big and wide. I ordered a 7. Still too big! BUT the 6 1/2 was just right! Comfortable, good fit, easy on and off. The returns were easy and the representatives were fantastic.

Bought my third pair because they were on sale and it's always important to have a backup pair. My oldest pair sprung a leak after 30-some years. Second pair is serving me very well.

I am sure these will be my Go To Snow Sneakers...but note that they run large & wide. I normally wear size 7. Ordered the Size 7 thinking that even if large, I will be wearing bulky winter socks. The Size 7 arrived but were WAY large. Loose in the heel and generally too big. I was able to return and exchange for a Size 6..yes, a full not 1/2 size smaller. The Size 6 will work!! You may want to consider ordering down a whole size. Looking forward to some snow sneakin'

Very comfortable and easy to walk in forever!

This is my second pair over the years and I am always happy with the product. They are waterproof and very east to put on and remove.

With 3 dogs to walk in Chicago weather, I wear Storm Chasers a lot in the Fall, Winter, and Spring months. Storm Chasers are warm and keep my feet dry. Finally, LL Bean has made Storm Chasers in a non-drab color! The silver moon/rich berry color is AWESOME! The Storm Chasers I have owned in the past have lasted me for years.

The fit , comfort and Quality.

I just love these new slip ones. I have a wide foot and the shoe has plenty of room for me. They are great for gardening, cutting wood, any activity around the home. They slip on and off so easy for when you have to go into the house and back out again. No effort needed. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great fit ... second pair I've bought. Took me over 5 yrs to wear the first pair out. Wear them everyday during the summer.

I wore my old pair almost every day for years through dirt, mud, rain and cold, as well as just nice sunny gardening weather! They held up solid as a rock, but sooner or later any shoe is going to wear out (in my case the main wear was the ankle padding and inside cushion--the sole and uppers are going strong). So I finally decided to order another pair but was a little concerned that some of the reviews seemed to imply that the sizing had somehow changed. However, I ordered my normal size 6, and they fit perfectly. Now for another 10 years or so with this pair!

Really got tired of having wet feet and shoes after taking dog out for a walk this summer. Seems like it rains every day. These shoes are the best! Along with keeping my feet dry, they are incredibly comfortable.

These shoes are just what I needed! Easy slip-ons are a huge plus when I have to get the dogs out quickly in the predawn dew or the freshly irrigated lawn. They are comfortable and durable. They are great for gardening and for working around the pool. My husband found a pair of the men's version of these shoes left by one of the previous owners of our house. When I saw how versatile and easy to slip on they were, I had to order a pair. I am very happy with these shoes.

I couldn't be happier. I did by a half size larger to be on the safe side. They are pretty easy to slip on and off. I have wide feet and got the wider width and I am really happy with the fit. Easy to clean, walk in and comfortable.

I am a dog trainer and gardener. This is my second purchase of these shoes as I am very pleased. Because of my occupation and interests I put these shoes through a lot., kennel cleaning, Gardening, running to town, dog training, etc. They hold up. The pair I finally wore out is at least 4 to 5 years old.. The outside rubber part did not breakdown but the webbing around the ankle and arch support did finally deteriorate (keep in mind I wear these almost everyday to do kennel chores, dog walking etc, and I live in Minnesota). The traction is very good. They are warm in winter but comfortable for gardening in summer. Never once leaked. I feel bad about throwing my existing ones away as the rubber potion still looks almost new. Great investment. Fit true to size and very comfortable.
