I love the boot as long as i wear my bulkiest sock. I should have gone down a 1/2 size. I usually wear an 8 1/2.

Haven't taken these off since the first storm of the season a few days ago. Comfortable, good traction and water resistant. Decently warm. Nice looking. But they do run large. I am a size 9, but fit nicely into an 8.5, even with thick socks.

An orthopedic Dr told me to always look for comfort first in any shoe etc. This boot provides that to the extreme. Nicely done. But the sizing for me is off. It was at least a full size off if wearing medium to thin weight sock. I am a true 7.5 all the time. I plan on wearing a heavier sock and when there is snow on the ground. I have no doubt that this is a truly warm boot. But overall I may keep them instead of sizing down because the socks and an insert will do the trick without taking away from the boot itself. Great find and you won't be disappointed. Love the new style. Just to mention they are very light weight compared to Storm Chasers prior style and not stiff another bonus.

Quality of boots was fine but sole and around the ankle stiffer than I wanted making them uncomfortable to walk in so I returned them.

I love the look and fit of these boots. Unfortunately the week after I bought them the zipper pull came off on my hand The folks at LLBean said they would be happy to refund me, couldn't repair or replace them. So I took the sad boot to a local shoe repair shop to install a new zipper. I am sad that Beans can't do this themselves anymore. But still love the boots, obvs.

These boots are just what I wanted, easy to put on, waterproof and warm. Unfortunately they are too wide in the ankles, even with thick socks. I just purchased some shoe inserts and hope this will help.

Very stuff sole, leaves little ability to navigate uneven terrain. I typically wear a size 8, sized down to 7.5, and still too big. I need to add an insert to keep foot from slipping. Otherwise a good solid boot. Is waterproof and keeps feet fairly warm.

Didn't feel very comfortable so I sent them back. Loved the way they looked.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF IT WAS MADE IN WIDE ALSO. IT WAS WELL MADE BUT TO ME IT IS WORTHLESS IF NOT MY SIZE.

Sizing seemed to be off. I ordered my first pair in a 91/2 thinking they would be plenty roomy, but were tight. Returned and got a 10 and that pair was huge, and way to big for me to wear. The boots are attractive and seem to be well made. They were pretty rigid to walk in and seemed that they would rub my shin, so I am going to try a different boot.

Right boot zipper gets stuck on both a glue spot and the fleece. Also the fit is really clunky, relatively tight in the toe and very loose in the heel, so can't wear extra socks to snug it up. Color is good. And resists the snow and slush well.

Boots are well made and durable, but they are stiff and not comfortable. I returned them due to poor comfort.

I think the boots are very well made. Unfortunately, the zipper on both feet rubbed my ankles. I returned them for lace ups and a half size bigger to accommodate thicker socks, and all is good. It took a month to make the exchange.

The first pair of these I received had an issue with the teeth of the zipper on the right boot, so it could only be unzipped half way. I returned that pair and ordered a new pair. The left boot of the second pair gets caught up with the fabric folded inside the boot behind the zipper so it can only easily unzip 3/4 of the way. I like them so I deal with it and just don't zipper them most of the time for now. Once it is snowier I'll probably regret not exchange them for a third pair though. If only I had the left from the first pair and the right from the second I'd have a perfect pair. They are very cute, comfortable and warm though.

I was unable to get my foot into the boot. Wanted to have a zipper boot, but will have to go back to lace-up boots.

The fit was great, but the zipper kept getting stuck on the inner flaps due to how it was constructed, so I returned the boots in exchange for the laced pair, which hasn't arrived yet.

I bought these boots specifically because they have zippers instead of laces. I sent the first pair back as one of the zippers kept getting hung up in one specific spot. With my second pair, both zippers get hung up on the gusset as it does not extend to the top of the boot. I like these boots. They fit perfectly and keep my feet warm and dry and so I have decided to keep them in spite of the aggravating design flaw. I would not purchase them again if this boot can't be made to zip up and down without having to fuss with them every single time. If you have arthritis in your hands these boots will not make you happy. Perhaps a zipper on the front instead of the side would be a better design? Great boots, just not "user-friendly" with those zippers.

Narrow opening at base of zipper and then too big inside. Generally I wear a 7.5 and in Clarks I usually wear an 8. I will be sending the boots back for a refund.

Sizing really off. Ordered and received an 8-1/2 womens, but couldn't even get them on. Runs much smaller than any other boot owned in the same size. Had another family member with same size try them and same issue - too small. Will be returning.

The boots are going back to LLBean tomorrow. Even with the side zipper, they are difficult to get on and almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I do have to say, however, once they are on, they are true to size and fit well.

I've had two pairs of storm chaser slip-on clogs in the past, size 9.5 that only last a few years before losing their waterproof capability. I decided to order the full storm chaser boot this year instead of clogs. I ordered same size as always, but the boot fits larger. Fits stiff, sloppy and definitely not warm. Wish I had returned them but threw away box and wore them outside. Put inserts in to help with the size and sloppiness. Will deal with it for back and forth to work in the snow but would not purchase again, especially for the high price.

These are terrible! I don't know who thought these boots were a good choice! I have a pair of the original design & they are far better than these. What an ugly "upgrade" style.

Hard to get on and a very uncomfortable fit. I returned them. Even the clerk said that a lot of shoes get returned.

Really loved the style but Unable to zip up due to my wide ankles and calves

These boots look great and I loved the idea of a stylish boot that is truly water proof. But as previews reviews describe, the boot is like cement on your foot. It won't bend or give. Thus, when walking around the house it scraped open my ankle. A real pity as I would have loved to keep them but decided to look further. I now settled on "Women's Day Venture Insulated Boots, Lace-Up" which is super comfortable, stylish and supposedly waterproof.
