These slippers are soft and warm, but do not stay on your feet while you walk.

Received these slippers as a Christmas present. These slippers starting wearing through the inner fuzzy lining within a month of wear! Attached photo is from two months of wearing I previously purchased the wicked good moccasins, I have had them for over 10 years, and the inner lining did not wear down for years. I noticed the fuzzy lining is different with the scuffs compared to my old moccasins. They must have changed their manufacturing. Disappointed in these slippers, not the LL Bean quality they are known for.

I was looking forward to cozy warm soft slippers. I wear 81/2 and ordered a 9. It was way to big and wide. Also, not very comfortable to walk on. I returned the item. I think it's way overpriced.

Bought these to support American business but tag says made in Myanmar. Look huge on my feet but Serve the purpose of easy on/off.

I have owned two pairs and LOVED them! At first, the quality seems amazing but unfortunately a few months later (average of 7 months, only indoor use), they have holes and the inside is all worn out. Really disappointing. I've gotten refunds both times but now I just wished I could purchase them again and they would last years, like slippers should anyway. LL Bean please do better!

I've had LL Bean slippers for years and the quality has definitely declined. They used to be quite plush, have good support and lasted for at least a year. I had several pairs of the clogs and found that they weren't lasting even 6 months before getting bald spots in them where all the fleece was gone. The suede has become quite thin as well. I decided to try these to see if they are more durable. Quite disappointed. Super thin and flimsy. Certainly not worth the $79 price tag.

Reading reviews here, I'd have thought I'd written - had this same slipper in past and lasted for 15 yrs - rec'd new pair in Jan 2018 had had to throw away because stitching came undone on right slipper, hole emerged at the junction of the leather and the sole, grew larger! - couldn't wear. Sounds like a bad lot to me. Sorry guys, won't buy again for a while.

These were purchased for me last winter by my significant other on a special trip to the Freeport store. I wore them happily for 2 or 3 months before the stitching on the right instep suddenly gave out. Now there is a gaping hole, and I have to wear socks with these to make any use of them at all. This wouldn't irk me quite so much if it weren't for the recent change in return policy, as we did not save the receipt for these. $70.00 slippers should last more than a few months in my books. My previous pair lasted seven years before I gave them up.

I have had my eyes on LL Bean slippers for years. When I got a gift card this year, I decided to cash it in on the scuffs. I was picturing a soft, velvet-like interior with a durable sole. While the sole was durable, I didn't find the inside to be comfortable. The slippers didn't form fit and felt more board-like underneath the soft lining. The seams were particularly scratchy. I was disappointed and returned them.

Within a few months of wearing these slippers the shearling started to wear off in the heels and along the sides, and once it started, the bald spots grew larger very quickly. I'm so disappointed, as I love them for the comfort and warmth. I expected to get many years of use from them considering the cost, but looks like this will be the only season. Look elsewhere for shearling slippers... maybe you'll have better luck.

I was so disappointed once I received this item. I have a pair similar from LL Bean from 15 years ago so I was in hopes of finding another pair to fit the same and last and be as comfortable. This pair has a longer front end and I feel it was the problem. My foot did not fit straight into the bed of the shoe. It kept sliding to the side. I was sad to have to return an even sadder to have to pay a return fee to do so.

Very surprised to have a tag in such a sensitive spot in a slipper. Received it 15 minutes ago and feel the itch from the "made in china" tag inserted in the arch of my foot. Surprised made from china when it's from LL Bean.. just disappointing. Also don't like how it fits.

Not! Could not tell left from right, they just seemed to be without shape. After wearing they seem to have stretched and gotten wider. Warm yes, sort of nice looking, but strange shape. In fact I think I'll see about a refund!

Like others, the back trim came away months ago (I have had a little over a year, but not worn as often as I'd like.) And the shearling lining seems thin, why else would it thin out/off after a few months? These have now worn out, the unraveled trim on the heel make these now unwearable. So sad. Thought I'd check LLBean for another slipper solution. I'm not so sure now. The slip-in of a scuff is good here in SoCal, but ... Too bad. LLBean was a staple for generations, decades, but over time I wonder if fabrics are getting thin, workmanship cheaper, lengths of tops/blouses shorter, all to save a little cost. Call me naive, but I want to keep LLBean at the top of my catalog-shopping/quality/durable list. So, what do I do about replacing these slippers? I'll still buy here, but cautiously and will return sooner if below expectations (I was desperate for slippers, so kept them!) Be good, keep the tradition of Leon!

I ordered these slippers. They are great but run REALLY small. Comfortable, soft, and look great. I have no complaints, until I tried them on. I am an 8 normal shoe size. I wanted to go a little bigger like an 8.5 but they do not have half sizes. So I ordered size 9. I tried them on and they were too small. Seriously a size 9 can't fit on my 8 size foot? For 70 dollar slippers it really made me mad!! Now I have to pay to send them back to get a 10, which I am sure will be too big.

I ordered these in my show size (8 medium). They are way too wide, no support, feet drift to the side and the back will not move with foot, too loose, fall off. I think they used a man's shoe pattern for this slipper. I am not new to wool lined slippers so was surprised this ran so loose and uncomfortable. I will return them and don't see a smaller size as being helpful.

There is nothing feminine about these slippers - they are completely, utterly UGLY! Sure, they are soft inside and appear to be made well, but I just cannot get around their appearance. Definitely not for me!

In less than 4 months the upper suede tore by the pinkie toe. The material on the sole was also already thin at the heel and ball of my foot. My husband has had a pair of these slippers for a few years and his are fine. I am confindent that L.L.Bean will make it right. I have always been pleased with their customer service.

Fuzzy and warm but too loose to stay on. Large boxy toe area. Not feminine at all! Felt like heel was in a hole. I kept walking out of them causing me to trip. If you have big wide feet, don't walk very much and don't care that your slippers are masculine....these are for you. Certainly not worth the price.

Ordered these to replace LLB Wicked scuffs purchased 3 yrs ago. Style no longer same - knew this from pictures, but still purchased based on experience w/comfort and quality. Read reviews advising order up in size (got 8 - same as previous ones; normally 7-1/2, narrow-med). This version was totally different from old scuffs. A lot less fleece lining (seemed skimpy), different construction, and for me, ill-fitting.

Received these as a gift from my hubby for Christmas. I would've given them 5 stars if they'd held up. I loved them! So comfy. So warm. Kept my tootsies cozy and safe from freezing hardwood floors during an especially harsh New England winter. Wore them everyday, in my house only, for two months and then the seam of the sole came undone at the toe of my left slipper. For the price, I expected them to last a lot longer than a couple of months. I'm not even hard on shoes. I didn't catch it on anything; it just came undone. Now that winter has come around again, I'm sad with cold feet.

Bought these after Christmas last year, and loved them for the first few months. After that, the lining wore at the heels and toes and much of the shearling is completely gone, and the insole is exposed. They also stretched a full size and are now too big. For the price, I expected to be able to wear them for more than one winter. Not terrible, but not worth the price.
