I purchased these in October 2020. From day one they were my Holy Grail of slippers. Where had you been all my life? (69 years). Uber comfortable, warm and important to me...easy on and easy off. I figured I would get a good year out of them. After about 3 months the inside of the heel started wearing down and now 6 months of wearing...the heel cup is "bald". The sole of the slipper look brand new, like they've never even been worn. Disappointed because I have far less expensive slippers that have lasted far longer.

These have no support in them. I really wish they would make them with more support for the the arches. I was sad about that. I am also a 6.5 and ordered the 6 and it was too small. I also wish they had more options for slippers in black. Just not what I was hoping for at all.

I was hoping to love these. However, I don't like the feeling of the scuff moving up and down on my heel. I wish I had ordered another pair of the Wicked Good Shearling Slides which I have in black. These scuffs are very well made, great quality. Just not for me.

I usually LOVE LL Bean products. And these slippers are great and have lasted me a while, however the fluffy fur inside does not last long. (like other reviews stated) I thought I got a defective pair, returned for another and the same thing happened to the new pair. They are super warm & cozy but for the price I was hoping the quality was a bit better...

I looked forward to receiving these and was so disappointed when I tried them on. They were just floppy and loose. Even with socks on they were too loose. I figured with wear they would just get worse. I wanted a slipper that my foot just slid into, but these didn't work for me. Sadly they were returned.

Unfortunately I have to return and exchange them for my fave the very comfortable LL Bean Summer Slip-On Sneaker. There is no padding/support to deflect the impact of walking on tile or concrete. I wear an 8.5 always but the 9 fit perfect if that helps. I Am very disappointed, I was so looking forward to a good scuff around the house slip on.

I bought the balsam color, as it was on sale. Still pricey for the quality. I am a 8.5-9 in shoes, and got a 9, and they are snug. My main complaint is the small interior tag (country of origin, etc.) It is sharp and jabs into my foot. It is just far enough inside to make it difficult to remove, and I will not be able to wear them without doing so.

I had a pair of Wicked good slippers which took years to wear down/out. I loved those slippers! Sadly, they finally did but I ordered a new pair Christmas of 2016. I was very disappointed that this new pair's shearling began to show wear spots as soon as a month after I'd bought them. The stitching has given out in the back heel and the shearling continued to wear quickly after only one real season's worth of wear. Disappointed. I never return products I've worn but I'm returning these trusting in Bean's 100% guarantee on a product's craftsmanship. I hope I just had received a badly made pair and the replacement lasts longer than 4 months.

Great quality, well made. Have been wearing LLBean slippers for years. Have ordered 4 pair in last 3 months. The Men's for my boyfriend were perfectly sized, however all three types of slippers for me, in size 6, which I've always ordered in the past, were FAR too large, flipped up and down like flip-flops. Have tried to exchange for size 5's but not available in all styles. Otherwise, Excellent quality and value.

I take a size 5c or d shoe. These scuffs are so wide, it is as if they are out of shape. I am unsure if it is a defect or if they were over stuffed with paper. I am returning them.

I was disapointed in this pair of slippers...there is at least a size difference between the left and right slipper, and its very hard to distinguish which is which. I have resorted to wearing heavy socks with these, but would rather not. They are warm and love the color.

I didn't realize these did not have full backs when I ordered them, so that was my mistake. I tried walking upp the stairs in them & it was impossible. They simply fell off! I have very narrow feet & these seemed a little wide. So, I will be returning them. However, they are very plush & seem well made.

I was very disappointed with the style.... I thought they looked very manly & sent them back. I'm sure they are comfortable..look warm But if you are looking for a feminine style....these aren't for you! Disappointed

I had a pair of these from several years ago that lasted me several years before they wore out and needed to be replaced. I asked for a replacement pair for Christmas in 2013, and by Christmas 2014 the new slippers were just as worn out as the previous pair I'd had for years. I also had some difficulty with the fit on my newer pair, as I received two slippers that fit significantly different due to the amount of fuzz on the inside. I had to order a few more pairs in order to find two that fit similarly. They are great slippers in that they are comfortable, warm, and have soles that allow you to wear them for a quick trip outside, but I'm hesitant to replace the ones I have now (even though they're super worn out - we're talking fuzz completely worn away on several spots on the inside) because of the issues I've had with the most recent pair.

These slippers are very soft, warm and cozy on the inside. I would have liked a smooth leather outer material so I could wipe them off if I spill something on them and a better arch support because I have high arches. The size is right on target, not too large or too small. They have a non slip sole and in all fairness I must say I have spilled grease and food on them and they have come clean with a damp cloth. I have been looking for a decent slipper for a long time so I am still missing my old ugly worn out slippers.

I really wanted these slippers--- for some time, so with great joy I tried them on. They fit perfectly (my heel goes just to the end of the slipper), but the description does not explain that they are like summer flip flops--- with warm lining. Perhaps that is what the company means by "scuff"--- scuffing along...

I love wicked good slippers, and have a size 11 foot- but why all shoe manufactures think that a big foot is a wide foot is beyond me. the shoe was long enough, but I could have put both of my feet into one shoe- had to return these, and find another style.

I've been buying these scuffs for a long time...I used to be able to make a pair last for a few years before they were too disreputable to keep any longer (paint, garden dirt, spilled coffee, etc.) but now I find they only last a few months before the shearling lining is worn out all the way down to the leather in the heel. Unfortunately, I like the style of the low back (along with the sturdy sole) better than any of the other styles, so I'm stuck ordering these until something better comes a long.

the back sides at the heal kept falling down under my heal, very uncomfortable. the one side was a little taller then any of the other sides, on both slippers, I think that caused the side to fall down. other then that they would have been good.

These are great slippers,,,, but. Make sure you buy them at least a size SMALLER as the leather will stretch and the fleece will shrink. I have bought these slippers for years, but I loved the old scuffs the most. I continue to buy the slippers even though lately I find myself buying them yearly. I should not have to buy them every single year as I only need to wear them for about 6 months a year. Lately the pairs I have bought have had problems. The stitching is coming apart on my latest pair. The pair before that, the trim on the top came apart. I do miss the scuffs, I find that when the rubber soles get wet, they are slippery on a ceramic floor. Those all leather soles never got slick and they never wore out. I stick with Bean because I do love the product, it just seems that it has slipped as of late. Someday I will get it together to actually send a pair back.

Out of the box they were perfect! Perfect color, perfect length, perfect width. Then they stretched out. They feel like they are a full size (or more) bigger now in width. I am also stepping on the back rim of the scuff. If I wear socks with them they stay on better. I've worn them 8 or 10 times since my purchase 3 weeks ago so they're fairly new. I've returned only one or two items from Beans my whole life. But I do think I may have to return these and perhaps try another pair in one size smaller. I wear an 8, regular width.

love this slipper. love the way it feels on bare feet. but sometimes my ankles are cold and i want to wear thin socks. I have a wide size 6 foot. I can't even wear thin socks with these. I wish they were offered in a wide or cut a bit roomier.

Alas and alak, these scuffs are a substitute for a much loved and now lost Wicked Good slipper. I bought a new pair for myself each Christmas for several years, because I loved their easy style and soft fit. The new moccasin-style are okay (a bit more snug and I'm not crazy about the top stitching) but not great. I miss my old standby's.
