I bought these for my wife a year ago because I had purchased the men's wicked good slippers a while back and loved them (greatest slippers ever!). The women's wicked good scuffs seemed really great at first, but after about two weeks, the soft lining on the inside and near the heel started to fall out. There are now several big bare spots under and behind the heel. I was really disappointed. I did not expect such poor quality from LL Bean. On the positive side, everything else has held up well for the past year, and they are still pretty comfortable on her feet. I give them two stars for that.

I have bought the wicked good clogs for years and love them, but was ready for a different style so I bought these. They do not fit right, in that they suck your socks off. I also keep stepping on the backs as they don't cup the heel well. I love Bean products and amsurprised at this item. I exchanged for my long-loved clogs.

Love theses slippers. Very comfy. However, within 2 months the shearling wore away in the toe area. Slippers were only used for, perhaps, 10 mins a day. Very surprised that this occurred. Will return and try another pair. Hopefully just a defective pair.

These were not very comfortable at all. There was almost no padding in the soles and the fuzzy part at the heel wore off after just a couple of months (I only wore these in the evenings). Also, they are pretty ugly - very clunky looking.

I liked the looks of the slippers once I recieved them & tried them on I was very disappointed They were too wide (and I have wide feet) and they slipped totally off my feet as I walked.

I usually love LL Bean footwear, but these scuffs slipped off my heels from the minute I put them on. They fit great in width and size, but the heel didn't have a lot of flexibility. I felt like the scuff was falling off with every step. I am exchanging for a slipper with a full coverage heel.

These shoes were so soft and warm on the inside. I was disappointed that the side of the shoe kept falling into my instep when I would take a step. I think if the design was a little more ridged on the sides, they might work. Maybe it is just the way I walk too, I don't know. I love the full slipper that I have from LL Bean, but was really wanting a warmer shearling inside (instead of fleece) without having it be bulky and flowing over the sides, which is the only other style (other than the scuff) that you carried. I also was hoping for that bit of tread that was on the scuff, without too much support like an outside shoe. I like being able to feel the ground beneath my feet.

Slipper appeared to be very well made with the shearling that I love. Unfortunately, this particular style is tricky. I ordered the 9 which I was slipping out of. If I exchanged for the 8, I would worry that my heel was hitting the back lip of the slipper. I really like the old flannel lined moccasin that Bean used to sell. True to size and wore like iron. If you don't have an LL Bean charge with free returns and shipping back, I would be leery about ordering this slipper.

I really wanted backless scuffs but other reviewers loved these so I thought I would give them a try. The one inch lip in the back really bothered me, not backless yet not a full slipper. Also, they were not flattering at all and made my feet look huge and masculine. I will say that the fur inside is wonderful. These are going back for something else. Bummer!

I have had the wicked good mocassins for years and absolutely love them. I decided to switch things up and ordered the scuffs. They seem to run big compared to the mocassins. When I walk, I constantly step on the sides of the back of the scuffs. Although I do like the chocolate brown color, I am returning them because they do not fit even though I ordered my normal LL Bean slipper size.

Slippers fit "sloppy" and offer no support. This structure results in making it difficult to easily slide your foot into the slipper and requires manual manipulation.

My feet don't sweat in these shoes but they definitely need more support. Like the rubber soles.

The lining was nice. But wasn't happy with the fit in the heel of the scuff. Toe box was very long. I have similar scuffs that fit better and are sturdier. Will be returning these.

Over the last 10 years, I have bought about 8 pairs of the Wicked Good scuffs, and have loved them. This year, however, the actual slipper has changed. Now the "scuff" is more like a moccasin, with less structure and support than in previous years. Not as much arch support or structure to the sole, so I don't think I will be buying them again, unfortunately.

I was disappointed in these slippers for only one reason. The sole of the slipper is not made in one piece and consequently the slipper does feel comfortable to walk in.

The prior model was much better; the heel was lower,(this heel is raised), the sole was more pliable. I had to send them back. Please bring back the older desing

I purchased these and sent them back. They were not cushy enough for me. They were well constructed and nice quality. I just like a cushier slipper.

cuter style than the previous model, but not as cozy. Glad to have gotten a pair of the older model before they are gone.

in past, i have bought a new pair of wicked good clogs every year to replace old ones because i wear them everyday. a month ago i gave my replacement pair to my cousin who was visiting and came here to buy another pair. i can't believe ll bean stopped selling them! so i bought these instead. they are ok- but they just don't compare to what i'm used to getting from LL bean. i'm returning the slippers and will likely look to other brands to see what's close to what LL Bean used to offer.

They should make these in a slipper with a full back instead of a scuff. My foot did not stay in place in the scuff. The quality of the product was superb. I really like that there is no shoelace tie to keep coming untied!

LOVED them out of the box; the chocolate color is yummy! After a few days, I noticed that my toes were sore. Finally dawned on me that it's my new slippers! I'm a true 7.5 and ordered an 8, but even this apparently isn't enough. Not sure what I should do... have tossed the box but really cannot wear them anymore. Lots of money for what I know is a quality product; it just doesn't fit! Remember to order up!!

I had to return these slippers! I've had several pairs over the years, but it seems that they are being manufactured differently as the fit is just not the same. They do not sit right on your foot and when walking the heel seems to slip to the outside of your foot so your heal hits the floor.

I sent these back the day i received them. They looked cheap and had a big mark on the top of each slipper from the packing material that I highly doubt would disappear with wearing. I love LLBEAN stuff but these were really below par. My husband wears the flannel lined handsewn slippers religiously. How come these can't be available for women? Now those are the quality that LLBEAN is known for. Not these. Nothing "wicked good" about them, sorry to say.

Don't get me wrong. These are very comfortable. I had a pair for 10+ years and liked them so much that even when the stitching finally started to come apart I bought another pair. That was 2 years ago (November 2020), but now the material in the heels is coming apart exposing the foam (I tried to upload a photo, but it's not working). I understand that the shearling will wear away, but I wouldn't expect that would mean the fabric underneath would rip. I took them back to a store and was told it is "normal wear and tear." I also understand that LL Bean has a year-long return policy now because people were abusing it before that, but I would expect for the cost, they would last more than two years, especially since I don't wear them in the warmer months. I won't be buying them again and am questioning if it is worth paying LL Bean's slightly higher prices in general for what I thought was good value if they won't stand by their quality.
