The softest flannel shirt ever! Even after washing, so soft and comfortable, fit is great with tall having long sleeves and tail for tucking, the apple cinnamon is so different and a bit dressy, you will love this shirt

Have shared several of these shirts as gifts with rave reviews from the recipients. Casual comfort at a great price.

Purchased for my son who is now my size. He loves the shirt. Perfect fit. Quality is as expected from Bean. A plus - when he out grows the shirt I inherit it.

My husband wears chamois and other flannel shirts as an extra layer over his cotton shirts. He doesn't wear sweaters much because they're usually too warm. This chamois shirt is very good-looking and he should get a lot of wear from it, just like the shirt it replaced. Note: the flannel seems a bit softer than the older chamois shirts in the closet, and maybe a bit lighter weight, but not too light.

This shirt has the same quality, comfort, fit, and eye appeal as the LL Bean clothing that I have worn since my days in college in the late 1960's. Bean's gives the customer lasting value with the products that you sell. You have not cut corners to sell your products at a cheaper price. I expect that I will be enjoying this shirt for years to come. Thank You

This is one of the best shirts I ever bought. Its so warm and cozy that my wife is jealous that there is no women's version or one her size! Just get it! Sizing can be tricky but the shirt is warm enough to wear with a light vest on a frigid day!

Quality shirt. Appears to be very well made and very soft. Very generously sized. I had to exchange the size I usually order for the next smaller. Also ordered a regular and it fits more like a tall. Long tails stay tucked in. Will definitely buy more. Great value.

My son wanted a shirt and reviewers said the sizing was unusual for this item. He is a L-XL and I gambled on a M, which was his old size.
I sent him the shirt and he loves it and says it fits perfectly. He wears it a lot and says it is very comfortable.

This is one of the nicest garments that I have ever owned. Became an instant "new favorite" shirt for these cold Iowa mornings this time of year!

I wear these as over-shirts and they are very comfortable. I have a couple to pick from and decided I needed another. They're good all fall and winter, and durable enough to use during yard work.

Best shirt I've bought in years; warm, soft and resilient. I'll be getting more of these for sure!

Compared to LLB's "scotch plaid flannel" and even somehow the solid color chamois shirts, this feels, looks, and wears like it's leagues beyond the others in quality. Thick but not too thick, hardy, soft, and handsome.
It's tightly woven cotton so while it's tough and warm when dry, it absorbs water readily and WILL NOT KEEP YOU WARM IF IT GETS WET LIKE ALL COTTON. So this shirt shines on days that are dry, or when worn under a layer that will keep it bone dry. Just a little lesson for anyone willing to hear.
This will be my go to cotton flannel going forward. I only wish they made a Malone/Adirondack plaid, a Stewart, and maybe a blackwatch.

My husband is rough on clothes. I bought him this shirt and he said it's so comfortable. He is hoping to get one or two more. I am happy with this purchase.

Bought apple cinnamon. Usually would buy large but ordered medium due to other reviews. I am 5'9" and 190 lbs - the medium fits perfectly. It is the warmest, softest, and most comfortable shirt I own. I will order more for my adult sons as presents and maybe another for myself.

I bought this shirt in the apple cinnamon color, and was impressed with the fabric. I had to check the content because it is so thick and soft, I thought it might be wool or have a cashmere blend in it. I am a small framed woman and ordered the small, while it is large on me it is flattering. Long and drapie, it does puff out a bit in the upper back but otherwise it fits big & loose as I wanted it to be.
The apple cinnamon is a different color scheme than the apple cinnamon fleece lined flannel shirt - less brown tones & a hint of pale blue. Both shirts are lovely against my skin tone, fair with brown/black hair. A little surprising since I don't typically do well with orange tones. I love this shirt so much I'm considering buying one in a different shade.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Thick, hardy, ultra warm shirt. Crazy soft. Rich colors. Ordered my husband's usual tall size, but the fit was larger and longer than expected. Had to return, but considering trying another in a smaller size.

Great shirts! I am right on the M/L border in a regular t-shirt, but somehow a Small in most Bean button-downs. Check the size chart to make sure you find the right fit. Very similar to the Scotch plaid shirts but slightly heavier material. And that handsome deep spruce plaid is hands-down my favorite pattern in the catalog... wish it were offered on more items.

Owned many of these iconic Bean Chamois Shirts over the years. Somehow they disappeared from my wardrobe, until now. Just purchased one and happy to report it seems to be like what I remember. Today many companies downsize and produce inferior products to keep the price down and profits up ! This doesn't seem to be the case involving this shirt. Great fit, stylish plaid, well made, comfortable, cozy, and warm. So happy with this shirt I ordered another in a different plaid. Thanks for the memories, but mainly thanks for a GREAT SHIRT !!

I own several of these shirts and love the colors and the softness of the shirts. I am 5' 10" and weight about 200 lbs. When the product says 'traditional', I order the large as I do not like clothes to fit snug. If the product says 'slim fit' or anything related to slim, I order the XL size and am please in both cases. My only 'complaint' is that the shirts wear so well that I don't really need anymore, but the new color combinations they come out with are so appealing that I end up buying another one to two each year! Thanks LL Bean!

I bought my first LL Bean chamois shirt years ago and haven't looked back since. I own about 5 of these shirts and wear them almost everyday from August till April. They are huge, but that's what I love about it. You can layer another flannel or t shirts or whatever you want underneath the shirt without it feeling too tight or restrictive, but yet doesn't look goofy when worn by itself. I am 6'3 and have a very athletic build and the size large fits like a glove. You get exactly what you pay for with the traditional fit. The fabric is soft, thick, and incredibly warm. I have run these shirts across every thorn bush and dragged them through forest after forest and have yet to have any damage. They are incredibly reliable and I depend on these shirts in the fall winter and spring months out in the backcountry as a forester. They usually serve as my main shirt and light jacket for heavy activity in the winter and through heavy usage still looks as good as the day I bought them. Fantastic product LL Bean.

This is shirt is over the top.....soft but obviously rugged. I am about 5'11" & 179 the large works fine for me, maybe a touch big for others but perfect for layering. The baked clay is color is awesome! Will be pefect for hiking or anything outdoors, glad I've got my firewood seasoned, I'd hate to get oil on this beauty, but perhaps i need another. A three season gem; looking forward to wearing this by the wood stove with a fine glass of Zin. Thanks Bean for the discount on the sale price & tthe excellent service.
A keeper! 10 Stars.

Chamois cloth is supposed to be a heavy flannel and this one surely is. It washed beautifully and is still the same size with no shrinkage. My husband loves it, he is 6'2" and weighs about 200 pounds, this shirt offers plenty of room for working in outside. And it is warm!
