This shirt proved to be a wonderful selection for my husband. He loves wearing it, because of the fabric's softness, the comfort of fit and the warmth. It is the best purchase yet.

I always get a chamois instead of flannel shirt and have always been very happy with how they wear and last. I am a working man (plumbing, heating, electrical) so need a sturdy comfortable shirt that will last and at the same time look good when I go out on calls.It holds up to the wear and tear and I always wash it in hot water---never any fading or shrinking.

Got this shirt for my brother after purchasing one for myself. Both him and I were pleased with our respective plaid chamois shirts Soft, thick flannel, with sturdy construction. Would say you could probably size down from your standard size - I'm usually a small and mine was a little big at first (but a few tumble drys knocked it down to the right size). My brother's usually a Medium and a Small fit great on him. Great shirts!

I first bought this style of shirt for a Christmas present for my husband. He loved it so much that he wore it three days straight. After washing it, he wore it three days straight the next week also! I had to encourage him to take it off so that I could wash it again. That was a sign to me of how great he thought it was and I got him two more. He loves this shirt because it has two breast pockets, is made of a good quality fabric and is long enough to stay tucked into his pants, is extra warm and cuddly (my word), and also just looks good. We are both exceedingly happy with these shirts.

My Seattle-based daughter was looking for a casual shirt that could double as a jacket. I got her this as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She's 5'9" +/- and slender but with broad shoulders. She specifically requested a men's small (she likes the over-sized look) and is very happy with the fit. The shirt itself is attractive and seems very well-made. It has a more structured look than, for instance, Bean's fleece-lined flannels (which I LOVE) so it's easy to see it doubling as a jacket.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and the person that received it loves it. He likes the softness and fit. the warm colors and the warmth it gives him in this cold weather.

Happily LL Bean continues to make this heavy weight chamois shirt unaltered over the years. On colder days when standard flannel isn't cutting it this shirt does the job. The cut is a regular fit not following the trend of more "fitted" or "athletic" sizing for those who don't want a snug garment. I'm 5'8" and pushing 160# and the Small is very comfortable in all respects. I've got four of these and recommend them.

Bought this for my husband, who hates new clothes. He has worn this shirt at least twice a week since I got it for him. Love, love, love the weight of the fabric.

This is the 4th one of the LL Bean chamois shirts I've purchased. It's the perfect weight for colder temperatures layered over a t-shirt. For a change the fit is comfortably relaxed without being too sloppy or "fitted" which seems more popular these days. The fabric stands up to repeated washings and is much more substantial than a regular flannel. Don't change this classic shirt!

This is by far, and without doubt, the most comfortable shirt I've ever worn! I've gone back to the website many times hoping the back order was off another color I've got my eye on. If this shirt is not in your wardrobe, then your wardrobe is lacking like mine was! Need I say more?

Gave this to my son Christmas Eve and he loved it so much, he put it on & wore it the rest of the evening. LLBean never disappoints!

I really like this shirt now that I have the right size. In my case cut full meant it was must too big in Large, when I got the Medium, it fit fine and I really like the feel of the material.

This Chamois Shirt, Plaid is a lot nicer than it looks in the picture. I am 6'2 inches with longer arms 36-37 in dress shirt. That is why I chose this Tall XL. Sleeve length was great. I was impressed by the quality of flannel which was thicker than average flannel. This flannel is good to wear if wearing 40 degrees or cooler. Or it will feel quite hot. It goes well with jeans, khakis, chinos and cargo pants. I would expect it to wear well for years since style seems consistent for the long term.

I bought this for my son in a XL tall in the apple cinnamon color. It looks great on him. The colors are vibrant. The shirt is soft and of a heavier flannel which has been perfect for the frigid weather he has been experiencing in Iowa.

My husband now has 3 of these plaid shirts. The plaids are very nice and he looks handsome and neat in them. They last for years, in fact, he has some solid colored ones that are probably 5 years old which are now used as work shirts. He and I recommend them.

I GOT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS AND HE LOVES IT. FITS WELL, WASHES AND DRIES PERFECTLY. AFTER WASHING I HAND HIS SHIRTS UNTIL THEY ARE DRY THEN USE THE DRYER TO REMOVE ANY WRINKLES. THIS WORKS GREAT AND THEY HAVE NEVER SHRUNK. THE ONE I GOT WAS IN A RED AND BLACK PLAID AND NOT GREEN BUT THE COLORS STAY TRUE AND DO NOT FADE EVEN IF I HAVE TO USE A PRE-TREATER ON THEM. GREAT SHIRT.

Hard to beat 'LL Bean flannels. This one is a step up in softness and weight. Christmas gift for son , 30. He loves it.

The heavier weight flannel in this shirt is just whats needed to chase the current winter deep freeze. Warm and comfortable, my husband loves this shirt. Very attractive colors and plaid.
