Extremely soft and durable material. Perfect fit right from the start. Looks great!

My husband & I have a mule and 2 horses, and live in Alabama where the winters aren't as cold as Maine. We do, however ride whenever we can in the winter in nearby Bankhead National Forest. We also horse camp there, as well as Mt. Rogers in Virginia in October. Not bad for 74 & 76. These shirts are wonderfully soft and warm. If it is colder, we put a long underwear top under them. I wear a men's shirt also, just wish it was a little shorter, mine comes almost to my knees. We try to buy a couple for each of us each Christmas when they are on sale, since Social Security doesn't go that far.

I usually order tall for longer arm length. Did not on this occasion because the color I wanted wasn't available. After consulting the fit chart I ordered a regular and the shirt fits true to the chart. Material is not as heavy as the older version but is still very comfortable.

Soft thickness for cold winter days. The fit was perfect arm length and torso for a tall torso.

I ordered a large which my husbands normally wears and it was Hugh. I reordered the medium and it is perfect. It's a very well made shirt and very soft. Washes well

LLBEAN double breast pocket (with flaps) are the ONLY shirts my husband will wear! whether they are LLBEAN flannels like this one or same style but lighter cotton. I am not exaggerating These double breasted pocket shirts are "IT" for him. Very difficult to find double breasted front pockets anywhere except LLBEAN. We are so happy these are a standard shirt that Bean has always!! It's nice to find a clothing store that doesn't change some of their shirts every year. Nice to know they are always there year after year. That's a GOOD thing. As they say, ("If it ain't broken don't fix it")He's a happy man!

I purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas. The Tall was a good choice, so when he's working outside it stays tucked in. He has a long torso, so this works well for his body. The heavy flannel makes it warm enough to wear when temps are in the high 20s and it has stayed nice and soft, even after washing.

This is one of Bean's best shirts, and I have several purchased over a number of years. I wear a medium tall in Bean shirts, mainly because of my unusually long arms. (At only 5'10" I wear a 34/35 sleeve.) However, in this shirt, unlike others, the length in the tall sizes has increased significantly. Both the body, which looks ludicrously long, and the sleeves are too long even for my freakishly long arms. The medium regular in this shirt fits me fine, while I still need a long in other Bean shirts. Great shirt, but the sizing seems to have changed.

I bought an XLG Tall, fits great and looks really nice with the slacks I bought it to go with.

This shirt is so soft, fits just right, washes beautifully and is very durable. It was one of my husbands favorite Christmas gifts.

Purchased the Apple Cinnamon color for my son and he loves it.

Very thick cotton flannel. Very warm and comfortable. No noticable shrinkage from laundering.

My husband loves his new shirt. The fabric is dense and soft, so luxurious! The sleeves are just right in length, so nice for someone who often finds sleeves just a touch short for his frame. We both love the beautiful blue plaid. We saw nice looking flannel shirts at a big box store at a fraction of the price, but this a higher end shirt, with a higher price. So worth it! I can see him wearing it for years.

LL Bean flannel shirts in Tall generally fit my husband well. The dress shirts in tall tend to have sleeves that are a little too short. The flannels last a good while, even though he can be rough on his clothes. He has them in a variety of tartans. Wish you had it in Anderson plaid.

This shirt was exactly what I was looking for. It's warm, the fit is big enough for multiple layers, and it doesn't shrink or fade after washing. It's the perfect winter shirt!!!

Bought each of my college age sons one of these for Christmas. They both had to try them on immediately. Excellent fit and the quality you expect from Beans. They will be perfect for our cold upper Midwestern winters.

This is the most comfortable shirt ever. The flannel feels soft and cozy. The fit is loose, but not too loose. They also last for several years. Washing is easy and they dry without wrinkling. Who could ask for a better shirt?
