It is very soft and heavier weight and that's what he wanted for winter. He loves it and I do too as it came out of the drier looking great. Hardly any wrinkles and no shrinkage.

I live in a 3 story condo. Upstairs I keep the thermostat set to 72F in the winter which is fine. However, on the main floor - living room, dining area, kitchen, the temperature is 5 cooler. So, to avoid cranking up the temp I thought I'd try wearing a warm plaid shirt. These shirts do the trick for me. They are a bit large if I were to wear them tucked in but are perfect for my lounge around wear while indoors.

I now have two chamois shirts. They fit great, they are warm but not hot, and are very good looking (I think). Our winters range normally from mid 20's to 60 degrees, and these shirts work well for me in that range.

I bought the Apple Cinnamon shirt for my husband for Christmas. I was concerned about the fit as I had read several reviews about the shirt being too big. I checked the information on the TRADITIONAL fit and decided to order my husband a large. (He normally wears an extra large.) It fits him perfectly and paired with a nice turtle neck he is not only warm and toasty but also looks great!

This is a great chamois/flannel shirt, very comfortable and soft fabric. I also get comments that it looks good on me, it looks so comfortable and what nice material. and it's true. It's feels good to wear and provides just enough warmth to wear over a tee shirt and it's in the 50's or 60's outside. I have worn L.L. Bean Chamois shirts for many years and I have always been happy with the fit and material. You can't go wrong with this shirt.

My husband bought this shirt - he has been looking for a REAL flannel shirt that would actually fit him....he LOVES this shirt! We have found a winner!...the sleeve length actually works...(he is between 38-39 in.) He is so obsessed he bought multiple colors...these are thick and durable, but warm and soft, all at the same time - we machine wash and let it air dry - it's his new favorite thing to wear! Thanks LLBean for considering the big and tall - we are customers for life!

Great shirt fits perfectly. Arrived on time.I have several Chamois Shirts and they keep me warm in the winter.

I bought this for my husband. He loves the LL Bean flannel and chamois shirts. They wear and wash well. He was pleased to get another one.

Excellent quality shirt. The size is slightly generous most likely to accommodate any very minimal shrinkage possible after the first wash. Their entire line of shirts purchased have always fit perfectly even after initial washing. Be sure to following care instructions.....wash warm water; dryer warm low.

This is now the 3rd Men's Chamois Shirt I have bought. I love this shirt. The fit is great. I am 6'7" and I love that Bean has so many tall sizes. Their XLTall is a great fit. It is a comfortable and warm shirt. LLBean quality is superior.

This is a great flannel and nice looking shirt. Only issue I found was that it was huge. Had to order a size down

This shirt is a perfect. i bought it for my husband and was concerned about the sleeve length. He has broad shoulders and long arms and many tall sizes are still too short in the sleeves. I was right in trusting LLBean to get it right. The sleeves are the perfect length! He loves this shirt. It is soft and warm and I think it is beautiful!

I bought this shirt in the red and gray color for my dad for Christmas. It's a heavy flannel shirt which is great for my dad to keep him warm. The color is very nice. My dad is really going to enjoy wearing this flannel shirt.

My husband loves this Christmas gift. He likes to wear "over-shirts" as lightweight jackets. This is perfect for when the weather is cooler. He has been enjoying the style, feel, and color of the shirt every day since he received it. It's nice to look at, too.

This is a superb shirt - perfect fit, very warm, very soft, very comfortable, well made - it is my favorite shirt of all!

My husband received one last year and loved it so much he asked for another one this Christmas. He normally wears a slightly fitted large in the LL Bean flannels, but in this he needs a medium traditional fit. Great for layering too! He said he would love another one! Worth the price!

Magnificent colors and the fabric is so soft. A really beautiful shirt! Plaid was nicely aligned across front pockets too. (Did not align quite so well on the side seams, but the pockets are more important.) My husband looks stunning in this shirt (and he is very huggable).

My husband got this for Christmas, and we all loved this shirt. It is so soft, and the usual great quality. Our adult children loved it too and wanted one. My 34 year old daughter said "Daddy, I want this shirt when you don't wear it any more in 6 years..."!

Great shirt, heavy weight fabric. Gave as a gift. Unfortunately it was too large. Exchanged for smaller size. The gift recipient usually wears the size I ordered. Shirt runs big.
