very comfortable... well cushioned... and the right width!! some too wide

Beautiful shoe but the arch support does not hit me in the right spot. Going to try a smaller size to see how that works out.

So disappointed these didn't work out - love the look, and they felt super lightweight and bouncy like they had a lot of cushion. I only recently started ordering wide after being diagnosed with bunions, so I can confidently say that the wide of this style feels like a standard width, not wide at all. Too bad, every other aspect seemed perfect for what I was looking for!

½ size too big. I typically wear a 6.5 in running/trail shoes. I should have ordered a size 6. Overall the shoe is a bit clunky.

I love Hoka’s but these didn’t hold up. The tops started to snag and got worn so quickly. The normal Hoka soft comfort feel just didn’t last.

It turned out to be uncomfortable and felt too narrow. I wear custom orthotics and they did not help this shoe feel better.

The sole was so thick it felt like I was wearing a platform shoe

While sitting in a chair for about 10 minutes the sneaker was painful around my ankles.

A portion of the tread came unglued after 50 miles on trail.

Would have loved this fit, but the tongue digs into the top of the ankle when wearing ankle socks.

I had to return these shoes because despite being correctly sized length wise, they were not flexible enough for someone with wider toe needs. They actually made my feet hurt, which is unusual in athletic shoes. Avoid if you have even the smallest of bunions.

To me, the heel and toe were too low compared to the arch. I literally felt like I was walking on my arch and falling back when I went on my heel. They just didn’t work for me I guess.

Item returned to large and something was wrong with the right shoe.

The fit was fine, they were comfortable, I liked the color ... however the sole has worn very, very poorly! I had a pair of Brooks Ghost shoes that I wore for I think at least THREE YEARS and MAYBE FOUR, and their sole isn't worn as badly as the Hoya after a mere 6 months.

The best athletic shoe I've found to date. Disappointed I am unable to find Speedgoat 5 again on Zappos though.

Extremely comfortable and supportive. Great tread for hiking and running off road and on trails.

Great shoes, my orthotics fit nicely, would buy again

2nd pair in this color way and, probably, my fourth pair of speed goats. I wanted a different color, but there were none in this model left. I was happy to purchase these again. The Speedgoat is my go-to everyday dog walking shoe in mild weather. I use them so often that I usually buy a new pair every six months--not because they don't hold up well, but because I really wear the heck out of them. I will continue to purchase this Hoka model as long as they stay the same or improve the comfort level even more. I am a true size 8 with a medium to medium wide foot.

I don’t love the color of Hokas in general (I’m more of a neutral girl and that just doesn’t fly with Hokas) but the color combo has surprisingly grown on me (blue with bright orange/red soles). These have been great for walking/light rucking on a fairly a short hiking trail (2-4 miles) with moderate elevation and rocky terrain (ranging from smaller gravel to bigger rocks under foot). I used some waterproofing spray and they were fine for the hike in light rain too. Definitely recommend this particular style of Hoka.

I chose these Hokas for trail hikes with my sweet little dog. The shoes are light weight, super comfortable, and give me a firm footing on the trails. From the first time I put them on, they felt like second skin. I highly recommend. Plus the vibrant colors make me happy.
