These are by far the most comfortable work shoes for someone who is on their feet 9+ hours a day and walking over 8 miles per shift. Really lightweight and do last for up to nine months without losing support and comfort.

This shoe is a little sleeker than regular Hokas. It has the right mid foot to toe ratio to be great for zumba. It holds my heel comfortably. It has good arch support. It is also fabulous for lifting weights and walking.

I have a lot of running shoes of different brands. I love the cushioning on the three pair of Hokas I have. I wish the Solimar came in more color choices.

I understand when someone says the shoes are too narrow, however for me they fit perfectly. They may not be the overly generous fit of many B width athletic shoes, but I'll leave that to measurement experts. For most of my 80 years, I wore AA/AAAA width shoes. With age, foot injuries, knee replacements and foot pain I moved to a B width for comfort and to accommodate supportive insoles.. Since I enjoy walking my dog and going to the gym, with recommendations from male and female friends, I started looking for better athletic foot wear. I find that I with HOKKA I do not need insoles for support, but most of the B width shoes are too wide allowing my feet to slip inside and making me feel unbalanced.
This shoe, for me, gives an excellent fit in the heel and toe box, secure
but not tight. Someone with a narrower foot may want to try this very
comfortable shoe.

I prefer a low profile shoe and this one exceeds my expectations. Is great for the gym and treadmill and looks good for casual wear which makes it a perfect travel shoe. Love the color and fit and it's very lightweight. I always order one size up for athletic shoes and it's perfect.

All I can say is that I am extremely happy with this purchase. Super comfortable, love the look and will be using them all summer, especially when vacationing and great walking shoes are a must!!

I’m really vain and hate wearing ugly orthotic shoes! I also have arthritis in my knees and need double knee replacement surgeries. Lately, just making it through a grocery store is really hard. I wear shoes with good cushioning (Taos, Skye, Merrell) but they don’t seem to really help so I can walk a greater distance. I finally tried Hokas and jumped in with this pair, Solimar. At first I thought they were really cushy and great, but after wearing them for a week, it’s almost like they broke in a little and now I feel like I have clouds on my feet! I went to a greenhouse to buy garden plants and walked all over the entire property and still felt great! I have never had a shoe actually improve my knee pain and stride. I am absolutely sold on this brand. I bought the color Illusion/Ether and it’s got a very subtle diagonal stripe pattern to the fabric upper. The soles are a pastel periwinkle color while the body of the shoe is light sky blue with periwinkle accents. They’re really pretty! As far as fit, I measure out as a 9.5 slightly wide. I bought a 10 and it’s quite adequate, but I may try a 10.5 next time for a little more length and see if I prefer that. If I wear a thick sock it feels mildly tight, a thin sock feels better. Width is fine, and the fabric upper is very cooling, I can feel cool air blowing through it. This is a beautiful athletic shoe and I am heads and tails more comfortable in it than anything else I own.

I really like the solimar best of the Hoka line. I have a couple other types and the toe is a bit to wide for my taste. These shoes look more like regular sneakers. they are just as comfortable and supportive. I love the color.

The size was fine. I originally purchased the 9 and it was too large. That's usually my size, but in Hoka I'm a half size smaller. This isn't unusual. Every brand's sizing is different. The 8-1/2 was perfect and I love them. Great support and they look great, I would recommend them.

Love this style. I have them in 3 colors. I have the black, this white one and Althea purple which I use for work. I'm a nurse in a very busy environment and I'm standing snd walking around 90% of my shift. I love this style because they're not so wide and bulky like other styles. The only negative think I have to say that for the money they should have better insoles. I have to change it out for my NB insoles.

As an instructor I need a shoe that can hold up all day and still feel comfortable. The Solimar style is perfect for training as well as walking. Please make more colors.

This is my second pair of the Solimar style. I like to wear the Solimar when I'm working out at the gym and the Clifton 9 when I'm walking outside. The only thing I wasn't crazy about, was the color. In the photo it looked like a variegated color, however, they turned out to be a solid aqua color..but I can make it work.
