It was all perfect and really liked them for a casual shoe but wear the Ricon 4 for my workouts.

Loving the lower platform Hokas! Great style! No breaking in needed. Fits my narrow foot well with decent arch support.

I have difficulty finding shoes that fit well in the heels. These Hokas are comfortable and supportive, and they hug my heels when I laced them all the way up through the last holes.

I love HOKA's. I liked the smaller profile of the Solimar, but it just seemed too narrow. May try a wide if I can find one. The Wild Indigo/White color is really pretty.

This is my 4th pair of Solimars. 2 pair I wear regularly, 2 back up pair in case Hoka quits making this style. I really like the low profile of these shoes, and the subtle plain upper color choices. The flashy colors and huge platform are not for me - consequently have never purchased Hokas until recently. They are pleasant to wear for daily walks, comfortable, stylish with jeans and shorts, and provide adequate support. Ankle, knee, hip, and back pain were exacerbated by another very expensive brand. All virtually resolved when I started wearing the Solimars.

No longer available in wide. Tried two different sizes in B width. Unfortunately, wasn't wide enough.

Even though I have fallen arches and I am supposed to benefit Most from stability sneakers, I find these SOLIMAR to be adequately, supportive, and the most comfortable. I don't like how clunky the extra cushioned shoes are and find that I will trip when I can't feel what's below my feet. These shoes are adequately padded and cushioned, but give me the stability. I need, spring to my step, and are super comfortable. I bought them twice in two different colors and my only regret is that they don't make one in navy blue. I use these for walking, running, working out at the gym, and playing pickle ball three times a week!

Size 9 was a better fit than 9 1/2 for me. Had been reluctant to try Hoka shoes for walking bc of the clunky oversize style and flashy colors. The Solimar are much more like regular walking shoes - lower sole, neutral colors, easy on & off, and for me, better feel of the terrain/path. Good feel, moderate support, comfortable, and low key appearance. Wish they were washable.

Love my shoes. They run a half size to big. I normally order 7 and ended up with 6.5 wide after buying three pairs and returning two.

I needed new shoes for Zumba, I read a review that said these shoes are good for such activity. I have tried it and they are my shoes for Zumba! I have also tried it for walking/light jogging and these shoes are really light and cushioned for both activities. I thought HOKAs had a high/thick shoe padding, but this is not the case for the Solimar. I would imagine these shoes would be good for traveling, walking or on your feet all day, but this is not my intention for this purchase.

I love this shoe. What happened to this in the navy with the white trim, similar to the black? This is my go-to shoe for errands, everyday stuff, and they look nice enough to wear with pants. Almost as nice as the Hupana slip was, which I dearly loved and miss so much.
The only color choices are whites with odd colors. I feel Hoka does that to women, while the men get all the great colors. And no, I can't wear men's shoes, my feet are too small.

Absolutely love these shoes, purchased the correct size. I gave away sneakers that I only wore once. They were name brands, but was not happy with the fit. These are my go shoes. I still own a more expensive pair of sneakers, but the soles are too big for driving.

I am not a runner. But, due to osteoarthritis in my knees, I needed a solid stable shoe for walking and everyday wear. My physical therapist recommended HOKA, and I am so glad that he did.

I've been wearing Hokas for quite awhile now. Gaviota my fave for all day gym, walking, errands, etc. Believe when I first saw the Solimar, it was featured as a court shoe. I've been wearing for pickleball 3 times a week for about 3 yrs probably going through 4 pairs. I love them!

Wearing to daily exercise classes, walking. Could use for hiking or running but they're ivory colored; I'd get a darker color for activities like that.

I am super picky about my shoes, I've been looking for about 6 months for a pair of lightweight, stylish and comfortable shoes. I'm on my feet for close to 13 hours a day at the hospital. I love them so much I bought a second pair within a week, and bought my husband a pair!! Love the Solimar!

I have had surgeries on both feet and I don't need shoe inserts or anything else to make my Hoka's comfortable. It does take time to get used to them; just a couple hours at first and increase gradually but it's worth it. I waited to buy my second pair until now in part because I wanted to prove to myself that they are worth the price and they are. I still wish they weren't so expensive.

I am a Hoka wearer. I've had every style, color etc., I've tried other sneakers. Hoka's and these in particular are a comfortable walking shoe. Worth trying!
