They hurt my feet-not enough cushion and maybe too narrow

This is my first pair of HOKAs and I bought them based on an online review after my knee replacement surgery. I had to return the first pair for a sizing issue and that process could not have been easier or more customer friendly. A+++ for that feature! The shoe itself is comfortable, cut very narrow in the heel (perfect for my skinny feet) and good room in the toe box but the insole of the shoe feels very rigid and after wearing for only a short time my feet feel "tired" and a little sore. I will probably try to buy some replacement insoles and see if I can salvage the shoe as I really like the look. I am also going to go to a running store and try one of the bulkier models.

Need a wide size but its only available in black which I don't care for. Need recommendation for walking shoe in wide but not black color.

This sneaker is nice, comfortable but narrow it's the top area. I like the other sneakers bondi 8.

As soon as I saw this pair of shoes I knew I had to have them. When I received them, I loved the look, the fit, how comfortable and light the felt. I was used to my Clifton which I had purchased because I have plantar fasciitis, but since I started working out at the gym, I figured the Solimar was my best bet. Sorry to say I had to return them. They don't offer the support I need. Also, they worsen my bad knee. If you don't have issues with your feet or knees, and are looking for a training shoe, the Solimar is for you.

This shoe has a very different feel to it than any other HOKA styles I have worn. I wouldn't buy it again. Feels like a "flat" compared to all the other HOKAs I have worn. I like the Black on Black and thought I would give this style a try.

Use for walking. Have had operations for bunions. Arches no longer arched. Even with inserts these shoes were not the right choice for me.

I normally wear Clifton 8. I thought I try these for recovery. I wore around house, not enough support for my feet.

Description said it was wide but not like my Gaviotas. Kind disappointed.

They are comfortable but I don't like how thin the overall material is. I will only buy Hoka's now as a runner but not this particular pair

The left shoe has a lump in insole towards the toes that make that shoe uncomfortably.

I don't care for how the toe box feels.

This is my first pair of Hoka's and they make my little toe sore. So I'm guessing I have some pronating when wearing. Honestly I was hoping for a little something more for the price.

Bought for wearing with jeans, but too stiff for my old feet. I'll stick with the Clinton's or Bondi that help with my plantar facia. They are so much more comfortable for me.

I researched which shoe would be best for my needs, ordered them. First pair was lost and never shipped out, had to reorder and pay express shipping but was told they would refund it once I got them. Called to have it refunded and the agent needed to update her system. She said she'd call me back in 30 minutes but never did. Haven't had a chance to spend 20 more minutes on a phone call to get it resolved. I bought the Bindi 7 for walking. I like the look of the shoe & the weight of it but my feet hurt after a few hours. Had to use a gel insert just like I do with my less expensive shoes. I'm just not feeling like they are worth the price.

Like the style of the Solimar, but it was too narrow in the forefront and not as comfortable as the Clifton and Bondi shoes that I wear. If you are looking for a fit on the narrow side, these might be for you. Had to return.

I love Hokas and have three other pair. I took the online survey to see which style would be appropriate for me (non runner, Pilates and low impact aerobics classes. They are not nearly as good as the Clifton's for me. They do t look as bully on, but I buy Hoka's for the support. I would not buy this style again.

I used the shoe guide comparing it to the size I use for another brand - these are about a 1/2 size bigger. The fit - particularly below the ankle - is not great. This is billed as a "cross-trainer" but I am not seeing better-than-average results for side-to-side movements.

Very tight that even thin socks could handle Wide! Not as comfortable so I'll stick with Clifton which is an amazing model.

Very disappointed ! I would have loved these shoes had they had a full wide sole under these shoes! All my others do and I ordered the wide!

I purchased a pair of shoes using Afterpay. The shoes don't fit and I can't return them because of your policy of using g Afterpay, no returns only exchange.

I have plantar faciitis and my Ortho Dr. recommended Hoka. These were the first pair I purchased and they are way too long. In fact I thought they sent me men's size 7 but my order says it's Women's. I don't usually write negative reviews and all the other reviews are positive but they look like clodhoppers on my feet. I bought Hoka's Rincon 4 and absolutely love them. Also, they don't cushion my heel as much as I had hoped.

I find these shoes to be a bit narrow compared to the Clifton 10s :(
