It is not the right shoe for me but I'm willing to try other Hoka styles. I need more arch support and higher heel bed.

Felt great at first but over time, a few weeks the right shoe started to wear and my foot was not supported. Have to send back

Not as comfortable as my Bondi, Clifton or Rincons, but still a nice shoe. Less plush.

I have bought 4 pair of HOKA in the past and have never been disappointed until now. I tried to find the Hupana on the site but couldn't locate them. I am going to Disney World and need the inside sole comfort for walking miles a day and these Solimar have very little if not any in parts of the insoles. Very disappointed.

Love these shoes! Wish I had bought sooner. The support these shoes give my ankles and knees is phenomenal.

So there is a lot of hype behind these shoes. A few friends have them. They love HOKAs. However, they just aren't for me. I will say there is a lot of cushion at the heal. It was nice that they were available in Wide. Unfortunately they do not support my foot in the way that I need.
I am saying 3 stars as I am thinking Long the lines of a neutral rating. I am sure they are great for a lot of other athletes.

The shoe felt a little cheap for the price point. The heel oddly slipped off even though the length was fine.

I bought these online based on the color, was looking for a light colored low profile shoe. I think I belong in the million Hoka club because I've been wearing this brand for years, for everything, and trust in their fit and quality. Wasn't familiar with the Solimar, and mostly wear trail runners but I love the Mach road runners as well. These look great but have the least amount of support and cushion of any Hoka I've ever had. I kept them an will wear for easy things since they look great.

They hurt my feet-not enough cushion and maybe too narrow

This is my first pair of HOKAs and I bought them based on an online review after my knee replacement surgery. I had to return the first pair for a sizing issue and that process could not have been easier or more customer friendly. A+++ for that feature! The shoe itself is comfortable, cut very narrow in the heel (perfect for my skinny feet) and good room in the toe box but the insole of the shoe feels very rigid and after wearing for only a short time my feet feel "tired" and a little sore. I will probably try to buy some replacement insoles and see if I can salvage the shoe as I really like the look. I am also going to go to a running store and try one of the bulkier models.

Need a wide size but its only available in black which I don't care for. Need recommendation for walking shoe in wide but not black color.

This sneaker is nice, comfortable but narrow it's the top area. I like the other sneakers bondi 8.

As soon as I saw this pair of shoes I knew I had to have them. When I received them, I loved the look, the fit, how comfortable and light the felt. I was used to my Clifton which I had purchased because I have plantar fasciitis, but since I started working out at the gym, I figured the Solimar was my best bet. Sorry to say I had to return them. They don't offer the support I need. Also, they worsen my bad knee.
If you don't have issues with your feet or knees, and are looking for a training shoe, the Solimar is for you.

This shoe has a very different feel to it than any other HOKA styles I have worn. I wouldn't buy it again.
Feels like a "flat" compared to all the other HOKAs I have worn. I like the Black on Black and thought I would give this style a try.

Use for walking. Have had operations for bunions. Arches no longer arched. Even with inserts these shoes were not the right choice for me.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
The regular width was a bit too narrow for me. I usually don't need a "wide" width, but my toes were bulging over the sides of this shoe. I ordered the wide size from the Hoka website since Zappos didn't have them in stock. Other than the width, I think it's a great shoe. I like that it's not as cushioned as other Hoka shoes and feels more like an everyday look. Reminds me of my old Nikes, but with slightly more cushion!

I normally wear Clifton 8. I thought I try these for recovery. I wore around house, not enough support for my feet.

They are comfortable but I don't like how thin the overall material is. I will only buy Hoka's now as a runner but not this particular pair

The left shoe has a lump in insole towards the toes that make that shoe uncomfortably.

This is my first pair of Hoka's and they make my little toe sore.
So I'm guessing I have some pronating when wearing. Honestly I was hoping for a little something more for the price.

Bought for wearing with jeans, but too stiff for my old feet. I'll stick with the Clinton's or Bondi that help with my plantar facia. They are so much more comfortable for me.

I researched which shoe would be best for my needs, ordered them. First pair was lost and never shipped out, had to reorder and pay express shipping but was told they would refund it once I got them. Called to have it refunded and the agent needed to update her system. She said she'd call me back in 30 minutes but never did. Haven't had a chance to spend 20 more minutes on a phone call to get it resolved.
I bought the Bindi 7 for walking. I like the look of the shoe & the weight of it but my feet hurt after a few hours. Had to use a gel insert just like I do with my less expensive shoes. I'm just not feeling like they are worth the price.

Like the style of the Solimar, but it was too narrow in the forefront and not as comfortable as the Clifton and Bondi shoes that I wear. If you are looking for a fit on the narrow side, these might be for you. Had to return.
