I gave this a chance but it is too narrow. Hurt my feet. I bought Arahi 7 Wide as well and that was perfect.

I normally wear a regular width shoe and had tried on a regular width Hoka Solimar. The sole runs a bit narrow so that my baby toe hangs over the edge when weight is on the forefoot. I decided to try a wide (D) in the same size. The bottom of the shoe is wider but the width of the footbed is about the same (at least where the toes are) and my baby toe still goes over the edge. There is more room and fabric in the toe box and arch area but for my foot it is a bit too much. There also seemed to be a slightly bit more distance btw the end of my big toe and the toe of the shoe.

I have an average/narrowish foot and these gym shoes were just too narrow. They also have an annoyingly rigid toe box. The sole is very supportive. Probably a no go as Saucony shoes are much better for the gym.
I'd also recommend:

I’m so sorry to have to return these sneakers because they look so great! But the fit isn’t quite right for me because I use custom orthotics and the inserts that I put in one shoe were oddly too high and made the shoe fit weird? Which is very unlike other HOKA’s I have?

I wanted to love these shoes. It's my 1st pair of Hoka shoes. I found them to run small and narrow. I had to return them.
I'm planning on purchasing another pair of shoes and will order a bigger size.

The shoes were more narrow than expected, especially since I ordered my normal size in wide based on another's review. I normally order a 1/2 size down but didn't this time

This is my third pair of Hokas, and although I think they look great and fit fine, they are not that supportive for my plantar fasciitis. The previous Hokas were amazing.

These shoes are blue, the cute color name is a waste of time.
The shoes are great otherwise, but I've exchanged for another color.

These sneakers look streamlined, are very light & would make a great every day shoe. I have average width feet that lean on the narrow side but the toe box was surprisingly, just too narrow for comfort (unlike my Clifton's). Sadly, had to return them.

I got these in Sept 24 and expected to have for at least 6 months. The tread on the bottom is already smooth in areas. I only wear these to OrangeTheory classes. I don't wear them around outside. No hiking or any street walking or running. I want a new pair, but don't want to replace so often. Time to look for another brand. I liked that these were lightweight yet supportive and not bulky for the rowers like other Hokas. Disappointed.

The Solimar is comfy and true to size. I am a trainer and use it while training people. I don't think I'd run in these and the most annoying thing is that the tongue WILL NOT stay in place!

For some reason, the sole of the right shoe is higher than the left, so when I stand while wearing these shoes, the right feels more cushioned/ elevated compared to the left. I thought it was just my feet so I had my sister who's the same size (10.5) try. She also feels right sole is thicker/more cushioned than the left. Thought this was unusual. The shoe seems good so far besides that. I am still "testing" it around the house, but feel it will be a good support shoe for my bodycombat workouts

I searched high and low for quality Zumba sneakers . I really wanted to love these. Initially they were stiff and I needed time to break them in. They seemed to be good after a month. However I came to realize that although they offered better pivoting, they did not provide adequate cushioning for the constant pounding during classes. I ended up with a lot of knee and leg pain. If Hoka is paying attention to these reviews, I wish they would make this low thread shoe with better cushioning and support for Zumba. They have what could be an amazing product with some adjustments

The fit was fine and comfortable. But I only had these 6 months and the sole is lifting. I expected more wear out of them.

I exchanged a different pair for these shoes (with no awareness that they were not returnable) and these shoes fit much better but i need a bigger size and when i tried to exchange them it said it was non refundable so now im stuck with shoes that dont fit and apparently get to spend same money for the same shoes in a different size and have to try to sell these the shoe itself is very nice (from what i can tell trying them on) this is just more a comment on how i cant exchange the shoes for a different size

The fit and comfort of these shoes was good, but every time I wore them, the top of my arch (at my ankle) blistered and itched. The doctor says it is contact dermatitis from something in the tongue of the shoe causing it. Too bad because they helped with my arthritic ankles.

Nice looking shoe but didn't have the arch support I needed. Also, it felt a little big. I usually wear Brooks Ghost in a 9.5 but this 9.5 felt too big all over.
