I prefer to wear flat or close to zero drop shoes for strength training. I bought these to wear during my cardio sessions. These are incredibly comfortable despite not having that big block of foam that seems to be so trendy. They're so light, I forget I have them on. I love the little details. As long as they keep making these in neutral colors, they can take my money. I wear a 6.5, but I bought a size 7 and they're perfect.

I usually have sore feet and legs after working 8 plus hours (in healthcare). No foot or leg cramps!

I recently went on a Greek Isles cruise and wore these every single day. All day long! Climbing, walking, standing! They were perfect and my feet never hurt once!

I had to break the shoes in 1-2 shifts before they fully felt comfy for my feet. after that they're my favorite pair of shoes to grab for any occasion where ill be walking for a while. they work great on my 12 hour shifts as a RN. I cant compare them to the cleftons since this is my first hoka pair. fit great, didnt even try them on before ordering online.

This shoe has excellent support for both casual walking and working out at the gym. Gives me just the right amount of support. This is my 2nd pair of Solimar/HOKA. They are excellent.

I would have kept the shoes if they were wider. Hoka should offer this style in a wide size. These shoes are similar to their previous Hupana, but not as wide. When I put my custom orthodics in the shoes they are pulling the shoes in the width and then tight on my feet.

When working out, they're stiff enough for lifting, but have enough support and cushion for the runs or jump roping. I'm getting my lacing just right. Overall they fit, but if I tie them too tight, it can get really uncomfortable in a quick hurry.

This is my second pair of Hoka's. The first pair was the Bondi in wide. It was relatively comfortable but my feet cramped when I walked long distances. I bought the Solimar in regular width because the color I wanted didn't come in wide. I was just in Europe for two weeks walking on cobblestones and up hills and had no discomfort. My feet never cramped. The Solimar is the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever had.. I am looking to buy my second pair in another color. I highly recommend this shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Solimars, so I definitely like the shoe. My only complaint is that the metal eyelets at the very top of the lacing are uncomfortable. It's weird because I didn't have this problem with my 1st pair, but the last 2 have both been uncomfortable. I add some padding to compensate so they are fine.
I wish Solimar came in some brighter colors (my first pair were fuschia and I loved them). Seems like they are using a drabber palette, but maybe that's the style. I also switched out the insoles for Dr. Scholl's and they add durability to the shoe.

Love the shoe but my usual size (7.5) was too big. Luckily when I ordered the 7s, they arrived in like 2-3 days.

Solimar is not my favorite Hoka but I have 2 pair. They are lightweight and comfortable. However, if I were still nursing (I'm retired), I would definitely go with the Bondi or Clifton. They are more "cushy:! I'm not a runner. I wear Hoka for comfort and because I get plantar fasciitis with other shoes. I have at least 12 pair. I also like the Rincon!

Love these shoes for weightlifting and working out. They are comfortable to walk in too. They did take awhile (2 1/2) weeks to get here, so I don't know if that was Hoka's fault or UPS.

Superior cushion and plantar fasciitis support!!! These are my favorite shoes. I don't have to wear ankle straps, arch supports or experience pain while wearing them. Thank you HOKA
