I use my Bondi 8 for walking and workout. Good for walking but not for gym/training wear. My toes got sore after 3 days of zumba class

I absolutely love HOKA sneakers and sandals, they are my favorite brand of shoes. They were also recommended by the Optamologists here in Florida. See me working out in my favorite of Biondi's on YT @ichoseJOYoverLupus3969 or IG @ichoseJOYoverlupus :)

Based on my experience with the Clifton for running (great) I decided to buy the slightly less chunky but presumably still super comfortable Solimar for an upcoming trip to Europe. I wore them around the house for a few days prior but didn't appreciate how awful they are. Two days into the trip my feet and back hurt so bad. Thankfully I was able to find some Ons to wear for the rest of the trip. I like the way they look better too. The Solimars are going back- they were a complete miss for me.

I bought these shoes because I do have a pair of Clifton's but found them too squishy at the gym. I have a normal width foot and found these perfect for me. I really love these shoes, so comfortable. Yes, they aren't as squishy as my Clifton's, but I like the sleeker look and can wear these with a summer dress.

I have been a dedicated buyer of a particular sneaker for years and tried Hoka to help with my knee and hip fatigue from long hours on my feet. I love them, planning on buying my next pair soon.

Love the look of the white in these. Unfortunately they do not provide the necessary cushion I require and 'ol Morton (Morton's Neuroma) flares up. They are fine short term, so I will keep. I just hoped they would provide the same support as my Speedgoats.

I purchased the Solimar model: fits perfectly, no breaking time needed. These are the best walking shoes I have ever own. Very happy with my purchase and have received compliments during my walks. A couple of women even asked to take a picture off my feet during a recent walk. I got it in the Vanilla/sandstone color: very subtle colors and classy looking.

Since my podiatrist recommended Hoka shoes last year, I have worn nothing but Hokas, and I'm very pleased with them. I am not an athlete, but an older lady who needs support and comfort. I am a fan!

Very sleek with good support! I bought the Solimar for everyday wear with orthotics. Not as cushy and a little less supportive than the Kawana II (which I wear for walking/treadmill) but still a great shoe. They also fit slightly smaller and narrower in the same size.

Got these pair as a birthday present size 9 and they ended up being way too big for me by an inch. I'm not sure how to go about returning or exchanging since they were gifted to me but I would recommend sizing down one. Besides that, they felt super comfy just wish they'd fit.

This is my favorite style of Hoka so far and the color is a standout! I was lucky to snag the last pair in my size. I hope they continue to make this one and more colors please. I bought 3 so far.

I previously bought the Hoka Transport in burgundy and in ream color. I loved them so much that I decided to give it a try to a different model instead of getting the same model in different colors. This time I bought the solimar in all black for work purposes. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as the Transport. The sole is a bit thinner, it still has the softness and cushion Hokas are known for. However the top of the shoe is made of a flexible fabric. Reminds me of some Nike shoes I used to have. They still comfortable, I just don't think it will protect me from something falling on my feet or water will easily get in. The front is also a bit narrower than the Transport and I'm use to have the wide front on any shoes I wear. What I like it's that they feel like I'm not wearing any shoes at all with the cusion at my soles like I need. They are good but not the best in my opinion.

If you are debating on purchasing the shoes, don't hesitate. You won't regret it! The shoes are perfection. As soon as I put the shoes on I felt the difference. They are very light, comfortable, and to top it off they are beautiful!! I purchased them to train for a 5k.

Many reviews suggested ordering 1/2 size down. I found this to not be true for me. I need a 9.

I was excited to purchase the Solimar for walking/training after reading reviews.
After a couple of days, I realized they didn't have much support so I bought orthotics hoping they would help. Unfortunately the shoe doesn't seem to have enough room for them.
They just didn't work for me. Disappointing.

I prefer the Clifton and the Bondi for long walks and shopping. The Solimar is good for local errands. I am currently waiting for delivery of two pairs of Bondi.

I have 4 pair of Hoka Cliftons...the 7, 8 and 9's. The Solimar definitely runs at least 1/2 size smaller and much narrower. I am surprised at some of the reviews saying that they run large. I am going to order size 9 and hope they work. Otherwise, I'll have to stick with Cliftons. I do like the sleek look of the Solimar.

Very lightweight. Great fit. Use them for HIIT and strength training. Would buy again. I only wear them at the gym; would love to buy another pair for outdoor use.

I didn't understand what the difference was in regards to the name of the different shoes. Everyone kept telling me how wonderful the shoes were. I gave them now and have worn the 3 times and they just feel ok.was hoping that I would feel the soles feel lumpy?

This shoe was just what I wanted - right color & fit was good. However, it rubbed on my right ankle & it hurt all the time. I walked in them for several days, and it did not get better. I heard so much about how great Hoka shoes were. I wish it would have worked for me. I decided to return them.
