This is a lower profile shoe than the Rincon (what I've normally ordered), but still very comfortable for running. It is more responsive, as advertised, but as a new shoe, still plush while running. I normally have problems with my heel slipping, but did not encounter such a problem with this shoe. I bought the beige color and it looks good with jeans in a casual style. I do wish the shoelaces were longer since it becomes difficult to tie if you use the very last eyelet.

I purchased in both a size 6 and 6.5. I usually wear a 6.5, but these do run somewhat large and the 6 fits just right.

My first pair walked me all over Cambodia and Vietnam on a two-week tour. No knee or hip issues. My second pair just walked me up and down thousands of stairs and many miles during a 10-day trip to Paris. Again, no knee or hip pain. I can't wait to see where this new pair will take me!

This shoe does not have the HOKA look with the giant heel. If you care about that, do not buy it. I am a recreational runner ( only 1-2 miles a few time a week). I have feet that have an extremely high arch, so I need a shoe that is very flexible because I run on my forefoot. These shoes are VERY flexible and very lightweight, yet supportive and cushy. This product has a bit higher heel-drop than the rest, and I need that to run the way I do. I thought the technology in this new style might help me run with a more heel-to toe movement, but I can't seem to do it! all the time! Either way I run, the shoe works for me and is super comfortable. I got the all white so I can also wear them for tennis, but I think the other colors would look better in this shoe since it is so flat compared to the other styles. I recommend this shoe. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I don't know about the "wear and tear"- I don't know yet how long it will physically hold up because I've only had it for a couple of weeks.

I would not purchase another pair. Big toe keeps jamming into the toe tip edge. My other fitness shoes have a smooth transition to the toe tip so this doesn't happen.

As a senior adult I was looking for a good walking shoe. This shoe ticked most of the boxes. Like the "all black" offering. Light weight. Support was fair, although I liked the overall profile. It was not unstable (rocker motion often makes seniors "unstable!" Very stiff though. Would like something more flexible, but still good support.

I tried on so many shoes and couldn't find one that would accommodate the issues with my feet. Because of them, I exercise strictly indoors. I was having difficulty finding a shoe that had the right inside cushioning and a bottom that would allow me to pivot and do the other steps in my routine. If the shoe had one, it didn't have the other. A friend told me about Hokas, and I was so pleased to see that there was an option for indoor training that had some cushioning. I do wish there was a bit more padding, but these are working for me. I really like the style as well, they are lightweight, and the quality is there. Please keep making a shoe for indoor training and exercise that has cushioning.

I prefer to wear flat or close to zero drop shoes for strength training. I bought these to wear during my cardio sessions. These are incredibly comfortable despite not having that big block of foam that seems to be so trendy. They're so light, I forget I have them on. I love the little details. As long as they keep making these in neutral colors, they can take my money. I wear a 6.5, but I bought a size 7 and they're perfect.

I had to break the shoes in 1-2 shifts before they fully felt comfy for my feet. after that they're my favorite pair of shoes to grab for any occasion where ill be walking for a while. they work great on my 12 hour shifts as a RN. I cant compare them to the cleftons since this is my first hoka pair. fit great, didnt even try them on before ordering online.

This shoe has excellent support for both casual walking and working out at the gym. Gives me just the right amount of support. This is my 2nd pair of Solimar/HOKA. They are excellent.

I would have kept the shoes if they were wider. Hoka should offer this style in a wide size. These shoes are similar to their previous Hupana, but not as wide. When I put my custom orthodics in the shoes they are pulling the shoes in the width and then tight on my feet.

When working out, they're stiff enough for lifting, but have enough support and cushion for the runs or jump roping. I'm getting my lacing just right. Overall they fit, but if I tie them too tight, it can get really uncomfortable in a quick hurry.

This is my second pair of Hoka's. The first pair was the Bondi in wide. It was relatively comfortable but my feet cramped when I walked long distances. I bought the Solimar in regular width because the color I wanted didn't come in wide. I was just in Europe for two weeks walking on cobblestones and up hills and had no discomfort. My feet never cramped. The Solimar is the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever had.. I am looking to buy my second pair in another color. I highly recommend this shoe.
