I was hoping the balls of my feet would have relief from standing on tile floors while I work an eight hour shift! Unfortunately, this is not the case. My feet still are in pain with these expensive Ortho shoes. They may work great for other foot issues!

Second pair of Hoka that the inside lining above the heel has worn away causing blisters. Love the shoe's style, color, cushioning and stabilizing they provide when walking. Just wish the lining would last longer!

I have used your products for years, and I find the new shoes run smaller than your previous shoes. Same style and same size.

To small in the toe box. Supposed to be a wide. To tight. Returned shoes.

I'm disappointed that the toe box was narrowed in the Gaviota 4. Previously this was the only style that had cushioning, stability, and a roomy toe box.

I bought these for work after having foot surgery. I log 5+ miles a day as a healthcare professional and need stability and cushion. After 3 days of wear inside on tile, laminate surfaces a large irregular shaped chunk of rubber partially detached from the bottom of one shoe; really threw off my gait. I have returned and replaced, but not yet received. I will chalk this up to being a fluke, but now have reservations about the product. For the money, I expected so much more in materials and workmanship.

Least comfortable walking shoe. Bindi 8 far more plush and cushy.

It squeaks

I did the questionnaire and thought it would be great but though the front of the sole is plush, the heel is hard and so my heel hurts when I wear it.

I bought these for work. I am in healthcare and am on my feet all night. The sole started coming apart after a month which is disappointing for the cost.

I'm on my feet all day at work as a nurse and I have neuropathy in my feet. I've heard Hoka's are the best sneakers. These shoes made my feet hurt so bad, that they were sore for a couple of days after wearing them. Totally not worth the expense. This is the second time I've tried Hoka's and they just aren't for me.

I need wide shoes. I love the old Gaviota's so I thought these would be about the same. The sole is too hard for walking on marble floors 10 hours a day. The shoe is not wide even tho it says wide. I'm very disappointed in this show. I'm also having trouble returning them.

These are NOT as stable or as comfortable as previous Gaviotas, and fit was completely different. I thought maybe I just needed to wear them in, but that didn't work the more I wore them the more painful they became. My feet started to ache for hours after I took them off. There was no stability compared to previous Gaviotas, still had pronation. Unfortunately, I had them 30 days before I could wear them because of an injury, so I cannot return. Very expensive mistake not to even test them out before 30 days, but I did not think that they would be that different. I bought these in the Fuchsia such a pretty color! So sad I cannot wear them.

For the price of these sneakers, I at least expect comfort and true sizing, which this style has neither.

HOKA predicted that I would need a 1/2 size smaller based on the Brooks brand. This was incorrect and I exchanged for a 1/2 size larger (and changed colors as well).

It seems to me that the Gaviota has a very different sizing than some other Hokas. Shorter and tighter in the front of the foot. I ordered the Gaviota because I usually wear stability sneakers in Brooks and my foot surgeon suggested I try Hoka. My feet fall in and I need arch support. Unfortunately, the Gaviota did not work for me for several reasons. The shoe rolled me out so far onto the outside of my feet that I was walking on the outer edges - which was painful. Also, the length was very short and my toes were bumping up against the front of the shoe. I started with my usual 8.5W and then sized up to a 9W; they were still too short. Eventually I switched over to a Bondi 8.5W which has a much wider toe area all around. I am now using some external arch support inserts to get the lift I need.

Jatoya by Hoka customer service by telephone told me that the this shoe was most similar to the Bondi 7. Not true! Sizing seems to be different and the tight toe box and uncomfortable shoe made me exchange for a larger size, but I'm still not sure it will work. I have no idea why Hoka stopped making the Bondi 7 - it even had podiatrist approval!

The inside of the shoe is wearing off onto my socks and gets all over the floor when you take them off

My left shoe makes a noise every step I make! It is very embarrassing. I have purchased several pairs of HOKA shoes & never had this issue but in talking with others it seems to be a problem.

I would have back issues after every walk.
