Perfect fit and very comfortable shoe without the bulk. Very grippy lugs on the soles. Love that these are highly breathable shoes. I have read a few negative reviews about the tongue not being padded, but I totally disagree and really like the thin lip on the shoe tongue as in keeps dirt and debris out of the shoe.

I remembered trying these years back and having to return them because they were way too narrow. I'm really glad they offer these in wide now. Also, I'm a fan of the weird tongue that kind of seals around your ankle. If I could change anything I would make them even wider. They don't feel as wide as my 2E Hoka Bondis.

These are my first pair of Hokas. I typically wear Saucony and Brooks. I wear a 10W and the fit is perfect. I have been wearing these in the Bavarian Alps in the winter and they rip great over wet rocks and in wet, slushy snow. I love the colors too. I would definitely recommend Hoka to anyone who hasn't tried them.

The shoe is super comfortable and smooth on all surfaces. Love them!

Stylish and comfortable

Love the shoe. Great support for my hikes across LA. Great in shallow water, mudd, everything. I have wide feet, and they were a little uncomfortable at times but not enough to take away from how good they usually feel.

More comfortable than traditional golf shoe

Brand new out of the box, I put my Speedgoat 5 shoes on the Humpridge Trail and the Ben Lomond Summit trail on the South Island of NZ. Perfect fit, no hot spots or blisters, she's mud my problem, and not a stitch or seam out of place. Meanwhile, my hiking partner blew up his Salomon Quest 4 boots on day 3. Don't think, just buy and be happy.

Love them while walking on treadmill, so far so good. They do run different size from other shoes. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 wide, needed a 12 EE in these.

Comfortable good looking.

Speedgoats work for my feet and the traction is great. The tongue which some folks dont like works for me. It is light and comfortable on top of foot. Love it!

Perfect fit styling and comfort

I like that the outsole is not too big. It is light, balanced, and keeps my foot happy during my ~12H shifts.

I am very happy with the Speedgoat 5s. I have run in the Speedgoat 4s for over a year and upgraded for an upcoming race. The Speedgoat 5 feels very cushioned on your feet and still somehow very light and responsive on trails. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a solid, high performance trail shoe.
