Absolutely loves everything about these shoes. It's been a long time since a shoe fit and felt this perfect. I have to say that I was unsure I was going to like the look - but when I arrived and I got to see it I was very surprised on how great these look - colors, design - everything - gorgeous!!! 11/10 :)

I work at a small college and walk around campus all day. These shoes are great. They look good, and are super comfortable.

I have always worn Brooks and sizing conversion was right on. I really like the design/color. They are more comfortable than previous shoes.

A wonderful shoe; well designed, crafted with attention to detail. Seams mesh into one another like the doors of an elegant car. Walking or running is akin to being on a cloud but somehow there is a firm feeling around the foot. Even while lounging one feels if he or she is so inclined they could easily walk, stroll or jog without hesitation. And, they are stylish, hip, and fun to wear.

I have been eyeing the Speedgoat line for several years, but just recently pulled the trigger and purchased a pair of the Speedgoat 5s. I wish I hadn't waited so long. My original intention for these shoes was hiking and some trail running. But I love the fit and feel so much that they have become my everyday shoes (when I am not at work). The fit is fairly typical for Hoka -- slightly narrow toebox -- so I went with the wide version and it is just fine. The grip from the Vibram outsole is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend these shoes.

Some of my fellow Marines recommended these, even though at first glance I thought they were a long distance highly padded marathon shoe. I'm so glad I tried a pair on and gave them a chance. I am mainly using the SG5 for mixed trail and concrete walking or light jogging. Years ago I used to consistently run 4 or 5 miles every other day, but these days I mainly wear these for comfort. I have a lot of joint issues and tendon issues and plantar fasciitis, but with these shoes I have noticed a great deal of improvement with my day to day symptoms and pain tolerance. I regularly walk 3 or 4 miles now with very little pain afterwards. Additionally, I wouldn't trade these shoes at all if I had to do an event or I was timing myself, they are as comfortable as they are capable- very light weight and springy. The padding is just right for me- neither too plush or too spartan as well. As far as the comfort for jogging, etc, I compare these to a superior version of the first foam type shoes I started wearing back in 2013 - the brook's pureflow. No other shoe I have worn in 10 years has eclipsed that shoe, for my needs. I will be sticking with HOKA from here on. Only thing that I don't know right now is how long they will last, as I know foam tends to compress over time. So I bought two pairs to alternate. Compared to brooks (a size 13) they run a little big, or maybe brooke's is too big and HOKA runs true to size. Regardless I landed on a half size 12.5 that seems to be perfect.

I was looking for a lighter weight shoe to bring on vacation overseas. I'm not doing any hardcore rock climbing. I'll be on some uneven trains with a median slope. The Speedgoat 5 is light and comfortable. It also has good grip to the ground. Perfect extra pair to bring along in my travels.

Using them for an Appalachian Trail thru hike and I'm a bigger guy. Been testing them with full pack and they are very comfortable and supportive. Will definitely buy another pair part way through the AT. I normally take a 13 but the 14 fit me great with thicker socks.

I have owned four pairs of speedgoats. My biggest issue was my toe popping through the fabric on the top of the shoe. Besides that the shoe is a great trail shoe. I currently have the gortex version and so far it is holding up better. But, tread and grip on the goat is exceptional. Paired with the cushioning of Hoka and the shoe is great for any one trail hiking or trail running.

I knew I needed one of the best running shoes out there because at 50 years old it is getting harder to keep running. I will now always buy these.

Great pair of shoes overall. Light. Great cushion, breathable and amazing support. A little light colors compare to the picture on the web. Anyways, great shoe! I will buy the again!

I put these shoes to the test immediately right out of the box. I hiked in Arizona for two weeks. The trails were predominantly rocky and steep. The shoes had plenty of support and comfort. They showed little wear or damaged after the two weeks. I will be purchasing another pair. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is my second pair of Speedgoat's. My first pair were the regular width. I have a wide foot with a flat arch, so with this pair I went with the EE, and it fits me much better. If you're on the fence, I would recommend the EE.

I have wide flat feet and these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I love my Arahi 6's too but these are my go to for my everyday shoe! I teach and I'm on my feet all day with no foot pain! The 2e are perfect!

I no longer run (just cycle), but my feet are very sensitive and painful due to years of overuse and the fact I have MS. These Speedboat 5's are really supportive, light and comfortable. Love all the colors too. I did have to go up a half a size above my usual Hoka size with these. Either my feet are growing or this model runs a tad small. It could be a combination of both.
